This is very> very interesting because once the Rapture happens the sealing will be gone again.

Being 'sealed' of God is just the opposite of those sealed with the Mark of the Beast. One does the Lords work and the other does the work of the ant-Christ. Those convicted by the Holy Spirit with God's Word, will stand for His Truth until their dying breath. Imo, there's not a specific time when true believers are sealed, its a process that's been around for 2000 years.

We were sealed at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came down on believers. In the book of Acts.

I Will put this one out to you about not sealing in the OT. David cried out please don't leave me! We don't have to do this in the dis of Grace, and once this grace is gone in the trib >you will have to put your life on the line for eternity. Yes we live in the last days.

I believe the sealing only applies to the church age.

Matt 13:39 NIV and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

But then again the fifth trumpet comes after rapture so...

Rev 9:4 NIV They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

Your thoughts.

The Holy Spirit job was different in the OT and NT.

3. Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.''
4. Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?''
5. Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. "Do not marvel that I said to you, `You must be born again.' John 3:3-7
Different churches would explain these verses in different ways, but evangelicals would typically understand these verses as referring to a Spiritual rebirth: We are born in a fallen state, spiritually dead and separated from God, an inheritance from our first father, Adam. Then when the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin and convinces us of the truth in Christ Jesus (His word), we are confronted with a choice. If we receive Him by faith (accepting His sacrifice upon our behalf) and submit to Him as Lord (enter into the covenant of peace with God), He seals us with His Spirit and for a number of purposes, the first being that we belong to Him (like a betrothed bride.)
Jesus gave us some understanding of this Himself when He spoke with His disciples on the night that He was betrayed: 7. "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. 8. "And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9. "of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10. "of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11. "of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. 12. "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13. "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14. "He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15. "All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. John 16:7-15
If we reject Him (blaspheming the Holy Spirit who is the One that showed us our sin and the truth) then there is no hope of eternity in His presence, but only a fearful expectation of final judgment:
26. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27. but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Hebrews 10:26-27
The Apostle Paul has written about our sealing by the Holy Spirit in his epistle called 2nd Corinthians: 21. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22. who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a deposit. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
When Paul speaks of the Spirit as "a deposit," he is referring to the fact that God, having sealed us as His own, also has made us inheritors of His kingdom and heirs of all the promises given to His children. Possibly the most remarkable and wonderful of His promises we find also spoken by both Paul and by our Lord. Paul when writing his epistle to the Romans and speaking of the case of the Jews rejection of their messiah tells us:
For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Romans 11:29
It is impossible for God to lie and He will not break His word, so Paul tells us that the Jews were not being utterly rejected, but suffered blindness in part for the sake of the gospel (and the gentiles that God would save through it.)
Jesus, speaking more directly upon the substance of the gospel said this: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. John 5:24 and: 25. Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.26. "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?'' John 11:25-26
And with regard to the permanence of His promise: 27. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28. "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29. "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.
30. "I and My Father are one.'' John 10:27-30
These are great and awesome truths and if you have embraced them and confessed your faith before men, then you must already be sealed by His Spirit. If you haven't yet been fully convinced then this would be a good time to be convinced and submit yourself to the lover of your soul, receiving Him by faith. Amen.

I'm pretty sure baptism and sealing are the same, both come by faith and not of works.
