68 years ago, the State of Israel was formed. It is the Jewish homeland, the 'budding of the fig tree', as Jesus prophesied. And as Ezekiel 12:25 tells us. 'you rebellious people, it will be within your lifetime I shall do what I have said.
So we can expect some dramatic happenings within the next 2 years.

RE: "we can expect some dramatic happenings within the next 2 years" - I was listening to the daily trunews.com radio downloads for the last week or two. The latest developments in Europe with the $800 million 'defensive' US attack stations in Eastern Europe right in front of Russia make things very hostile. Russians are not pleased to have the US nukes stationed all along their borders. One retired top NATO commander predicts nuclear exchange within a year or two. It's heating up like never before. Thank you America - you destroyer of the whole world. The Russians only have one real option left or they will all die: Preemptive strike on the US, what will kill about one third of all mankind in all nations as per Rev. Hard times are coming.

Isaiah 10:17-27 The Light of Israel will become a fire, its Holy One a flame which in one Day will burn up and consume His thorns and briars. The splendour of his forests and fields it will completely destroy, as suddenly as someone falling in a fit. Only a very few trees [righteous Jews] will be left. Jeremiah 12:14
On that Day the remnant of Israel, the survivors of Jacob will rely no more on foreign help, but without wavering, will truly rely on the Lord: the Holy One of Israel. A remnant of Jacob will return, to their Mighty God.
Israel, your people may be as many as the sands of the sea, but only a remnant will return. Destruction has been decreed, overwhelming and righteous. The Lord will carry out the destruction upon the whole Land.
Therefore, says the Lord, My people, dwellers in Zion, do not be afraid of foreigners, though they oppressed you. Very soon My anger against you will end and My wrath will be directed at them, as I have done in times past.
On that Day, the burden they laid on you will be removed and your yoke broken.
In one Day, the Lord will destroy His enemies by a CME sunstrike. This will be the Lord’s Day of vengeance and the Sixth Seal of Revelation. The Land of Greater Israel will be cleared and burned over. Ezekiel 20:47-48, Zephaniah 1:18, Jeremiah 4:26-28 On that Day, His righteous people will trust completely in the Lord. They will settle into a regenerated and prosperous Land. Ezekiel 36, Isaiah 35.

Ezekiel 34:11-31 For the Lord God says: “Now I will take thought for My sheep and search for them”. As a shepherd gathers his flock when they are lost, so I shall rescue them from all the places that they were scattered in a Day of cloud and darkness. I shall lead them out from the nations and gather them from all the places where they were scattered and bring them home to their own country.”
The pasture for My people is the Land of Israel. They will thrive and find rest there. I shall search for the lost, bandage the injured, strengthen the sick and give My flock the proper food.
Now, I shall judge between the fat sheep and the lean. You rams and goats have taken the best pastures and muddied the drinking water. Therefore I will save My flock and they will be ravaged no more. Zephaniah 3:1-8
I shall set over them My servant David he will care for them and will be their God. I shall make a covenant with them to ensure peace and prosperity. The Land will bear great crops of fruit and produce. When I rescue them from the power of their enemies, then they will know that I am the Lord.
Then they will know that I am with them and they are My people. You are My flock, that I feed and I am your God. Isaiah 62:1-5, Jeremiah 4:12-18, Hosea 3:1-5

His people found and rescued from wherever they are after the ‘Day of cloud and darkness” - another description of the Lord’s Day of vengeance. They are brought home to their heritage, the holy Land. All of His people, no matter what their health or age, will thrive and find rest. But first, they will be judged and those priests and leaders who have led their flock astray will not enter the Land. When His righteous people are rescued – then they will know that; “I am with them and you are My people”. Not yet as a visible Presence, until the Return of Jesus. Jeremiah 14:11-16, Ezekiel 20:34-38

Jeremiah 33:6-9 & 14-16 Now, I shall bring healing and care for Judah and Israel and let them see lasting peace and security. I will restore their fortunes and rebuild them as they once were. I shall cleanse them of all wickedness and sin that they have committed and forgive all the evil deeds of rebellion against Me.
This city will bring Me renown and praise, when the nations hear of the good things that I bestow on her. They will be in awe and trembling at this.
The days are coming, says the Lord, when I shall bestow on Judah and Israel all the blessings I have promised them. In those days and at that time, I shall make a righteous branch spring from David’s line; he will maintain law and justice in the Land. In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will be undisturbed. This is the name it will be called: The Lord our Righteousness.

All the Lord’s true followers are healed, cleansed, forgiven and will live in peace and security. Jerusalem will become a city that will be admired and envied worldwide. The Lord says: “I will keep My promises to Israel and Judah. A leader from David’s line will appear”. Maybe Zerubabbel? Haggai 2:23, Jer. 30:21 Eventually it will be Jesus as King.

Hosea 6:1-3 Come, let us return to the Lord. He has wounded us, but He will heal us. After two days, He will revive us, on the third day He will raise us to live in His presence. Let us strive to know the Lord, whose coming is as sure as the sunrise. He will come to us like the spring rains that water the earth.
His people have been punished, but are now to be restored. At the end of the two days [two thousand years since Christ came] there will be revival, His people will come back into the Land, and then on the third day they will live in His presence. That is: during the Millennium, after the Lord Jesus returns in His glory. Luke 13:32.

1 Corinthians 2:7-9 I speak God’s hidden wisdom, His secret purpose framed from the very beginning to bring us to our destined glory. None of the powers that rule the world know that wisdom. Scripture tells us of things beyond our seeing, beyond our hearing, beyond our imagining – all prepared by God for those who love Him.

Thanks Keras, you are giving comfort to a dying world. Or at least some tiny parts in that world that hope to see THAT day. I was discussing the latest developments with a local guy on the beach yesterday, and we both agree that when it spreads it will spread quickly, you cannot involve one nation without the other as well, that means America and Israel will have a time sensitive interaction happening simultaneously, the double occurance of Ezekiel 38 [that at the same time shall things come into thy mind]. What also shows the difference between 'the fat' and 'the coming new':

Jeremiah 50:11 Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls; Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

Jeremiah 50:4 In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.

Jeremiah 50:20 In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.

Psalm 68:1-35 Let the Lord arise, let His enemies be scattered. Let those who hate Him be gone! Let the Lord’s enemies perish in His fiery judgement1, like wax before a fire and as smoke is dispersed.
Lord: summon Your strength, use it now as You did for Your people long ago. Rebuke those wild beasts, those proud and arrogant sinners; all those who love violence and war2. All power and strength belongs to the Lord, enthroned on high. Cleanse now Your holy Land and give strength to Your people, we pray.
The Lord says: I shall bring My enemies together into the place of slaughter, from wherever they are. I will smite them there, their blood will flow out so that you can bathe your feet in it and your dogs will lick it up.
When the Lord speaks out in mighty thunder1, kings and their armies will flee in terror. When the Almighty scatters those evil peoples and clears the holy Land, snow will fall on Mt Zalman3.

We sing the praises of our Saviour and Redeemer. He who rides on the clouds, He is our Father and the defender of His righteous people, but those who refuse to acknowledge Him will remain in the desert4.
When the Lord saves His people, there will be thousands of vehicles for them5, as He leads them to safety through the barren desert. The earth will tremble and rain will pour down to replenish the holy Land6. There Your people will settle, for in Your goodness Lord, You provide for the poor and needy.
The procession of all Israel comes into view; into the Holy city. First the singers, then the musicians. The little tribe of Benjamin will lead, with Judah, Zebulon and Naphtali following, marching on their way the Zion’s holy mountain: on to the Temple in Jerusalem. Kings will bring gifts and envoys will come from far off nations to honour and praise Israel’s God. His Majesty and blessing is over the holy Land , the Lord enthroned in heaven will give strength to His people7.
Praise be to God! Ref: REB, CJB. Psalm 68 in a chronological order. Abridged and paraphrased.

Isaiah, the prophet, commissioned by God, to restore the survivors of Israel. Isaiah 49:5-6.

Isaiah 66:15-16 See: the Lord is coming in fire, His chariots are like a whirlwind, bringing retribution with His furious anger and His rebuke with flaming fire. The Lord will judge with fire and sword, He will test all mankind and many will be killed by Him.
The Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath – the next prophetic event. This fire judgement upon all the earth, will be by a Coronal Mass Ejection explosion of the sun, the only thing that will literally fulfil all the detailed prophesies about that Day. It will affect all the earth, but will specifically devastate the Middle East. Isaiah 30:26-30, Isaiah 63:1-6, Revelation 6:12-17, Jeremiah 12:14, Psalms 18:7-15, Isaiah 24:1-6, Malachi 4:1
Isaiah 66:17:18a All those who practice magic rites and divination, those who eat unclean foods – all will meet their end, for I know their thoughts and deeds.
[Witchcraft, occultism, false religion, disobedience to God’s Laws, etc., all who do these things will die. Isaiah 48:22, Jeremiah 30:23-24, Revelation 22:15. Micah 5:12

Isaiah 66:18b-19 I am going to gather people of every tongue, they will come to see My glory. I shall put a sign on them and some of these survivors I will send out to the nations, to proclaim My Gospel among them. They will go to distant places that have not heard of My glory. Irrefutable proof that this happens before the Return, as then: every eye shall see Him. Revelation 1:7
The Lord’s people, all righteous Christians, are gathered from all parts of the earth. 12,000 are selected from each of the 12 assigned groups and sent out to proclaim the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. Revelation 7:3-8 & 14:1-7, Isaiah 49:6.

Isaiah 66:20-21 From every nation, your people will be brought, on every kind of conveyance, coming as an offering to the Lord on His holy mountain. They will come to Jerusalem, just as the ancient Israelites brought their grain offerings. The Lord will select some of them to be His priests. Psalms 107:1-43, Rev 5:10

Soon after the Lord’s Day of vengeance, all the Lord’s people, will be motivated to emigrate to the holy Land. Ezekiel 36:10-12, Ezekiel 39:25-29, Isaiah 11:11-12, Jeremiah 30:10-14. They will live there in great prosperity and peace for several years, until the Anti-Christ comes to power. He will break his 7 year treaty of peace with Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, and take control of the country, placing his image in the Temple. This will start the 3½ year Tribulation period. An ‘elect’ group will be taken to a place of safety during this time. Zechariah 14:2b, Revelation 12:14.
Then Jesus Christ will Return in His glory to reign for 1000 years.

Isaiah 66:22-23 As the new heavens and earth, which I am making will endure before Me, so will your name and descendants endure. Every new moon and Sabbath, all mankind will come to bow before Me.
Isaiah 66:24 As they go out, they will see the bodies of those who rebelled against Me, where the devouring worm never dies and the fire is not quenched. All mankind will view them with horror. Zechariah 14:12. Ref: REB, NIV. Verses abridged.

Deliver us, Lord

Isaiah 63:7-10 I shall tell of the Lord’s unfailing love and of the great things He has done for His people, in His compassion for Israel. He said: surely they are My people, they will not be false with Me. So, He, Himself delivered then from their troubles. He carried them through all the days of old. Yet, they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit, so He turned against them and allowed enemies to conquer them.
God chose and prepared a nation that would be His friends and a witness about Him to the world. Sadly, they rebelled against their Maker, so their punishment was exile. This was to be for a defined period, Ezekiel 4:4-6, Leviticus 26:18 and now we look forward to the gathering of all righteous believers into the Holy Land, be they actual descendants of Jacob, or grafted in as believing Christians. Romans 9:6-9, Galatians 3:26-29

Isaiah 63:11-14 When in exile, they recalled the days long past and how Moses shepherded his flock through the sea and into the Promised Land, by the power of the Holy spirit. Thus, You led Your people and thereby gained everlasting renown.

Isaiah 63:15-16 Look down from the heavens – Your lofty throne and see us, Lord, for You are our Father. Where now, is Your zeal and Your valour, You are withholding Your compassion from us. Even though Abraham may not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us, You, Lord, are our Father and our Redeemer from of old.
Abraham does not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us” Israelites by descent or by faith in Jesus, can still call on their Father and Redeemer of old. They are all todays Christians, from every nation and language. Isaiah 51:1-2, Revelation 5:9-10

Isaiah 63:17-19 Why, Lord, do You let us wander from Your ways and harden our hearts, so that we no longer revere You? Turn again for the sake of Your servants, the peoples that are Your inheritance.
Why have enemies trespassed on Your sanctuary? Why have our enemies trampled the Land? You have not ruled over them, they are not Your subjects. We are Your people from ancient times, Your servants and witnesses.

Our prayer for today:
Psalm 106:47 Deliver us, Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, so that we may give thanks to Your Name and make Your praise our pride.

6 Days of Creation = 6000 Years of mans rule on earth; 7th Day Sabbath (Rest) = 1000 Years (Millennium) reign of Jesus on earth

For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and
as a watch in the night.
Psalms 90:4
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the
Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day
. 2 Peter 3:8
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in
them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath
day, and hallowed it
. Exodus 20:11

In Bereshith (Genesis) and Shemot (Exodus), we are told how God made all
things in six days, and on the Seventh Day (Shabbat-Sabbath) He ceased from His labour. Why did He do this? God set up the seven-day Divine Plan within which the Messianic Redemption would be fulfilled according to the promise made to the Patriarch Abraham:
In Abraham's "SEED" shall ALL the nations of the earth be Blessed. Genesis 22:18; Genesis 26:4

God foreknew precisely what He was going to accomplish before His Divine Plan of Redemption was commenced:
I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like Me,
DECLARING THE END FROM THE BEGINNING, and from ancient times the THINGS THAT ARE NOT YET DONE, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I WILL DO ALL MY PLEASURE: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executes My counsel from a far country: yea, I HAVE SPOKEN IT, I WILL ALSO BRING IT TO PASS; I HAVE PURPOSED IT, I WILL ALSO DO IT.
Isaiah 46:8-11

Unto me, the most inferior of all saints, was this Grace given, that I should preach among the nations the unsearchable riches of the Messiah, and to enlighten all to the administration of THE MYSTERY WHICH HAS BEEN HIDDEN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD BY GOD, who Created all things through Jesus Christ; according to THE DIVINE PLAN OF THE AGES which he purposed in Jesus, the Messiah, our Lord. Ephesians 3:8-11

God's Creation was to echo Redemption by defining a "day" as 1000 years.
From beginning to end, it was determined by God that mankind was to have only 6 "days" (6000 years) to live out his time on earth. On the Seventh Day, the "Day" of the Lord (Millennium), God Himself would intervene into human affairs and usher-in the Kingdom of God on the earth.

Yes, I have been in touch with Gabriel Ainsley before. He is on the right track and because we aren't sure of Christ's birth or death date, he gets his final date wrong.
I use a known date as given in Luke 3:1-2 : Jesus baptism and the commencement of His ministry. This is more logical, too as He said He would always be with His people, Matthew 28:20b, physically, then Spiritually, as it is now.
Gabriel also confuses the Day of the Lord with His Return. The great and terrible Day of the Lord's wrath, is as we see in Rev 6:17, a literal Day when Jesus judges the nations. Psalms 110:5-6, Habakkuk 3:12 He won't be seen on that Day - Psalms 11:4-6, Habakkuk 3:4, Psalms 18:11

Expect dramatic events fairly soon!

. . . because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. Hosea 4:1

God’s 7,000 Year Plan

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day with the Lord [in heaven] is as a thousand [earth] years, and a thousand [earth] years is as one day. [in heaven] 2 Peter 3:8
Most Christians in Bible believing circles are probably familiar with the idea that God has a 7,000 year plan that corresponds to the original creation week of seven days, but I have found that most are not familiar with the many portions of Scripture that support this doctrine. People know about 2 Peter 3:8 and Psalm 90:4 but that’s about it. But that should not be about it. If God has a 7,000 year plan, then this is major stuff and we should be familiar with many verses of Scripture that support the doctrine.
Now, our opening text says that one day with the Lord as a thousand years. In a general sense, the verse is simply saying that time is irrelevant to God. What seems like a lot of time to us is really very little time to God, since He is eternal.
Though it seems to be taking the Lord forever to get around to sending His Son back to rule the earth, it really has been only a couple days (in God’s timing) since He left. But that’s only the general teaching. There is also a very specific doctrine to be gleaned from the verse.
The verse does not say that a day is with the Lord as thousands of years (plural), ten thousands of years, or millions of years. It specifically states that “one day” is with the Lord as “a thousand years.” To the serious student of Scripture, such specific terminology mandates a closer look at the subject. If the Bible says nothing more of the matter, then the verse should be understood in the general sense only and not pressed for any additional meaning. However, if other portions of Scripture show support for a 7,000 year plan, then 2 Peter 3:8 and Psalms 90:4 should be understood in that context as well. As we are about to see, other portions of Scripture show much support for a 7,000 year plan, and the lateness of the hour makes this truth more relevant today than at any time in human history.

The Six Days of Creation

We read in Genesis 1:31, “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” So, in six days the earth was created and populated with all its life forms.
However, it is possible to consider these ‘day’ periods as 1000 earth time years.
Exodus 20:11 says, “For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.”

The Sabbath Principle

Then we are told that God “rested” on the seventh day: “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.”
. As we shall see in this study, the 6/1 division is not unusual in the Scriptures, as it reflects God’s plan of 6,000 years for man to rule the earth and a final 1,000 year Sabbath in which Christ Himself shall rule.
The number six is the number of imperfect man (the ultimate imperfect man being Mr. 666, the Anti-Christ; Revelation 13:18). God’s number is the perfect number seven, a number that occurs well over four hundred times in the Bible (the number six occurs 202 times). The number seven is found fifty-four times in the book of Revelation alone, mainly because Revelation is the book that ushers in God’s seventh day Sabbath rest for the earth and its inhabitants (the number six occurs only four times in Revelation).
So, the original creation week of seven days foreshadows God’s prophetic plan, a seven thousand year plan (six ‘days’ in God’s eyes) with the final thousand years being a holy Sabbath for planet earth and its inhabitants.
The fact that God established a Sabbath day at the end of the standard week is familiar to most people, but most do not realize that God has more than one Sabbath. The weekly Sabbath, the seventh day of the week under the law of Moses, was clearly one Sabbath, but there are other Sabbaths as well. In fact, one could probably understand the Sabbath better in the context of a principle rather than a particular day. For example, God expressed disappointment in Leviticus 26:34 over the fact that the Israelites would neglect to observe her land Sabbaths: Then shall the land enjoy her Sabbaths, as long as it lies desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her Sabbaths. This was not a seventh day Sabbath, but rather the seventh year Sabbath. There are also jubilees in the Bible that are based on forty-nine year cycles (seven times seven), and there are designated 490 year time periods in the Bible (seventy times seven). The day of Pentecost always fell under the Sabbath principle since it always occurred immediately after the seven weeks following Passover. Of all the months on the Hebrew calendar, it was the seventh month that was most sacred (Lev. 23:33-36). We even learn from Daniel 9:24-27, that Christ will not return until after the completion of Daniel’s seventieth week and it is after the seventh church period that the church age comes to an end in Revelation chapter three.

While I totally agree with the millennial kingdom Jesus will establish, the rest of your whole argument is based on making typological application and then making those applications doctrine- a very dangerous hermeneutic practice.

Also as the Peter statement uses the phrase "is as", it is comparing and should not be taken literally.

also keeping that passage in its proper context and not ripping it out of context to reapply elsewhere, it is talking about Gods Pattience and not some divine time frame.

Also if Archbishop Ussher is correct we are now in the 6,026 year of creation, or twenty six years in tot eh millennial kingdom. I sure hope not for then the kingdom really sucks!

Personal applications of literal passages are fine- but to make them doctrine is dangerous, as you have just shown to us.

I tend to believe in a 6,000 year time frame and a 1,000 year kingdom (especially this one) but I cannot be dogmatic. And as we are at least 10 1/2 years away from the Lords return (this is a minimal number), life without Jesus here goes further past teh six thousand years.

And no the 6 days of creation are 6 days and not six thousand human years.

god made it plain- "there was an evening and a morning, a first day... a second day etc.etc."

Nice to resurrect old threads, but can be a little embarrassing!
I still believe that the generation alive since Judah became a nation in 1948, can be alive to see it all, Matthew 24:32-34
All of the Prophesied end times events, leading up to the glorious Return of Jesus to reign on earth for the next thousand years.
Also if Archbishop Ussher is correct we are now in the 6,026 year of creation, or twenty six years in tot eh millennial kingdom
Ussher was wrong, The given time periods do not add to 4004 BC, They accurately add to 3970.5 BC.

There is still enough time for all the Prophesied things from Revelation 6:11 to Rev 19:10 to happen before Jesus Returns. Maybe in 2034, as the time Jesus has already spent on earth should be added to the 6000 years.
And no the 6 days of creation are 6 days and not six thousand human years.
Whatever. Creation was more like six million years!

Going by the 7,000-year time frame, and depending of which calendar you go by and calculating leap years etc., it does seem the Lord will return between 2033 and 2042.

Nothing related to the quoted scriptures, or implied. Most personal interpretations of prophecy are wrong like this was .

Nice to resurrect old threads, but can be a little embarrassing!
I still believe that the generation alive since Judah became a nation in 1948, can be alive to see it all, Matthew 24:32-34

Which has nothing to do with the events of 1948. Jesus was talking about the signs of summer, which is his second coming. The signs will happen around the start and duration of 42 months. It is the generation that sees those signs that will see Christ return. Nothing about Israel being a nation in 1948 at all.

And no the 6 days of creation are 6 days and not six thousand human years.

god made it plain- "there was an evening and a morning, a first day... a second day etc.etc."
Johm MacArthur says if anyone believes in anything other than a literal 6-day creation - that person is NOT a Christian.

MacArthur divides and destroys Christianity.

How can anyone say a Prophecy or even a speculation is wrong until all the time in which it could happen. has passed.
Bald comments as above, are made by fools and deceived people.

No, they are made by the same ones over and over thinking they have the key to prophecy and think they know when things will happen. Year after year they are wrong:

"So we can expect some dramatic happenings within the next 2 years."

False.

All of the Prophesied end times events, leading up to the glorious Return of Jesus to reign on earth for the next thousand years.
As do I! But I will not say definitively so- for God has chosen not to reveal that. Remember can and will are two different things.

So you are about the 50th wanna be to say Ussher was wrong- care to provide your evidence? But even if you are right- we are 5992.5 years into creation and 7.5 years from jesus return. Biblically we are at minimum 10.5 years from Jesus return

Lots of preachers say lots of silly things based on their own imperfections. Macauthur is a Christian. I would tell him to his face he is wrong and I know the Bible teaches a literal 24 hour 6 day creation.
