Holy Road There is a group of fundamentalist Christians in the United States who are claiming that I-35, the major interstae that runs between south Texas all the way to northern Minnesota, is God's "holy road". They hold prayer vigils and services alongside the busy freeway. They base their belief from the Bible, particularly, Isaiah, Chapter 35 ( hence, I-35). In that chapter, verse 8, it says that there will be a holy road built. Of course, I-35 is the main part of the North American Union trade route between Mexico and Canada. It is the NAFTA Highway being expanded to accomodate major trucking across the continent.

Well, if they want to consider that a fulfillment of Isaiah 35, then that makes us the lost tribes. But then again, they don't want to believe that literally, but only spiritually I suppose. As for Nafta, I believe that was a contributing factor that made me lose my good-paying job to one that basically pays half. I'm not complaining, per se as the Lord has granted us other ways of income. However, it's the concept that bothers me. The politicians give lip service to better economy, but rather see us "peons" work for half as much. Pray tell, where will the money come from for them to aspire to their ideas? I guess they don't have that much figured. Then again, any politician (to get off the subject a little) that would side with the likes of the RIAA regarding copyrights has to be more crooked than a cork screw. Sorry to say, that basically involves this whole administration. They don't think like or care for the common American.

Isaiah 35:8And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.Do you really think it's a literal highway or are you pointing out that it's a possibility?
