Its not supposed to get better. Don't know why you even entertain such notions when scripture states the exact opposite. Good luck with the pre tribulation belief. Looking forward to you still being here when Apollyon, the beast from the pit starts wrecking havoc. At that point the pre tribulation foolishness will go right in the dumpster where it belongs.

You're gonna look up one day and find yourself living in the Land of Canaan, and yes I'm not making that comparison lightly. There will be child sacrifice or infanticide done under the guise of "abortion", bestiality and pedophilia will be legal, and what we call porn today will be a common occurrence on HBO and AMC. Society will be so debased that it will make it easy for Apollyon to just roll all over us, as there will be nothing left to fight for seeing the family unit is almost completely destroyed as it is.

No it isn't getting better. I've seen the mark of the beast on a few people already. The time is coming and the occult faith is that faith of the beast.

This doom-and-gloom attitude is really the wrong way a Christian should be thinking. I would suggest that you turn it around and look at the end first. While this world WITHOUT the Master Yeshua` is on a downward spiral, first look at eternity and the New Earth with the capital city, the New Jerusalem. Then, back up to the 1000 years prior to the New Earth's re-creation, and get a good picture of what the world will look like when a "wiser than Solomon" is ruling over Israel and its tributaries. THEN, come back to the mere 7 years (or 3.5 years) of problems (if you believe in that sort of thing). Eternity > 1000 years > 3.5 years. So, bring your perspective back to the time periods coming up that matter!

Unfortunately, Retro, at this point in time, we are so close to the Day the Lord will take action, Isaiah 42:15, to be unaware of what over 100 Bible prophesies tell us will happen, as the Lord has planned, is sheer foolishness.
I too, look forward to the glorious time of the Millennium and then eternity with God on earth, Revelation 21:1-4, but much has to take place before that time.

The crisis to come will be a time of deception. Nothing will be as it appears. Only to those walking in the Spirit, will the truth be revealed. The vast majority, (I am speaking of those who claim to be religious/Christian) will be united under the world super-church with the Pope as their head, moral laws upholding Catholic dogma being legislated, the 'fanatics' or the religious zealots/fundamentalists (those who actually believe in the scriptures) will be either dead, on the run, or in jail, and all the world will be 'wondering' (worshiping) after the beast crying "peace and safety". All will look rosy and the future secure. All the nations will be united under one head, the Pope, the one religion will be governing all and the only spanners clogging up the spokes of the otherwise smoothly rotating wheels of the last hours of human history will be a few nuisance loud-mouthed preachers who insist that the laws of man do not countermand the laws of God. They, unlike the vast majority of so-called Christendom, will be commandment keepers, and will have the faith of Jesus.
And the message they will be preaching will be an echo of Elijah and John the Baptist, and will be in the same Spirit and power.....
