I'd love to listen to some sermons while I work shifts. If you know of any good preachers, just pop their name down below and I will take a look at them. Thanks :) PS They don't have to be Pentecostal either....

I have been listening to coldcasechristianity.com podcast lately. They are not sermons but he does cover some interesting topics from or about the bible.

Here's one I just happened to come across this one yesterday, when i randomly looked for sermons on 1 John. It's by a Baptist guy I hadn't heard of before, but maybe some people here have: Dr. Bob Utley.

Actually I found it to be touching on a lot of issues that are discussed in this Forum, especially in the thread on faith, and it has touched me in many ways:

Haddon Robinson is my favorite preacher. Can probably find a few of his sermons through podcasts if you search his name. Some are available through preachingtoday.com, but you need a subscription to listen to the messages.
Of course, you can always listen to mine for free....but you get what you pay for. LOL!

Couple of things I noted prior to listening to your sermon on "Revealing the Armour of God" Your unusual accent [possibly American -haha] That lovely stain-glassed window behind you. Still listening! :D :D

Haha, well I hope my accent is not too distracting! :) I wonder what the deal is with the more current sermon files.... Strange

I was quite fond of the teaching of the late James Montgomery Boice who was a one time pastor of the 10th Presbyterian church of Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Boice was not only a doctrinally sound preacher and a fine scholar, but actually a well trained thinker as well (I've listened to more than a few popular radio preachers who seem almost incapable of logical thought or sound argument.) His sermons are still available through the alliance of confessing evangelicals as well as some second hand sites and well worth the time it takes to listen to them, as I sometimes do when the current radio preaching has devolved to pleas such as "bring in the tithes to the storehouse" and "help our ministry reach the world for Jesus."
I also think very highly of Alistair Begg and for the same reasons, who is currently a Pastor of Parkside Church of Cleveland Oh, and the teacher of the radio show "truth for life." His ministry makes sermon downloads available for free and while the man may not consider himself a scholar, and is a bit inclined to lean on reminiscence for biblical illustration, I find his preaching to be honest, spirit filled, encouraging and yet realistic in light of the times that we live in.

Great listening to Mr Begg. Well rounded biblical exegesis... :)

Dr James Boice is pretty cool! Listened to his sermon on "God's Friend." :)
