Psalms 90:4
KJV 4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
BBE 4 For to you a thousand years are no more than yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night.

These are my thoughts.
Time is nothing to the Lord but we are to give ours back to Him.

Psalm 90:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.

The Psalm continues by asking for God's mercy, that we may rejoice in Him, even in our days of suffering so that the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands that we do for Him. Spoken by Moses, a servant of God, who was aware of his own mortality.

14 O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
16 Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Psa 90:14-17 KJV

Let us make sure the work that is established upon us is a good work.

God’s anger and wrath can cause us great trouble but with Christ we avoid this.

KJV 8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

The sins we try to hide our seen by Him and can be forgiven by Him.

MSTC 9 For when thou art angry, all our days are gone; we bring our years to an end, as it were a tale that is told.

We don’t want to fall short of God all of our days with Christ we can please the Lord before our end.

KJV 10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

How ever long we live times flies by to short to think we don’t need Jesus.

We never want to learn the Lord’s wrath to avoid this we go to Jesus.
