We all existed as a spiritual body before our flesh body? Is there scripture regarding this?
Revelation 12:4 - And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.Job 38:7 - When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?And read the Three Earth Ages Bible Study Here...[url="http://www.christianityboard.com/earth-ages-bible-study-t79.html]http://www.christianityboard.com/earth-age...-study-t79.html[/url]Jag

Heaven would be a place that once you're in it, time would like to have ceased to exist.Because it's the same principle as when you are having a wonderful time, you'd feel that time goes by very quickly.

In heaven, there will be no 4th dimension (time). 1 day will seem like 1,000 years.

Let me see if I can pull this thread together for you, all of you have hit good pointsfirst of all we are only appointed to live in flesh bodies once. However we were created in the first eath age and lived upon the earth. Then Satan rebelled and many of us followed him in his rebellion thus God destroyed that age and started this age (Gen1:3)thats where our Bible basically begins its the story of this age and how it began and will end. It ends with us all getting back to our real spirt bodies minus the flesh part. This is not a ghost body but a real body just not made of flesh. Now when that happens we will live here on earth we do not go up to heaven as heaven comes here to earth the earth will be renewed no more pollution no more decease all evil will be gone ect. We will all still have our own mind and hearts but we will know the Lord personally as he will be here as our King of Kings Lord of Lords teachoing and guiding us.You might think about as you but without the confines of the flesh or doubts and or tests we have to pass in the flesh. And even though we all only live once in flesh, we were before, we are now,and we will be again. So in a sense our soul is reincarnated (but not flesh) and heaven is here (a new and improved here)

Hell should scare you, not heaven. We don't think there as we think here. There is no fear. If you admit, you are a sinner and believe that Jesus died for your sins, you receive Jesus into your heart and want to follow Him, there is nothing scary. Fear or Faith- you choose. Fear is not from God, it's from devil. Of course he wants to scare you because he does not want you to belong to God's Kingdom. Devil is a looser. Jesus already has won over devil, when Jesus died on the cross and rose to heaven to make us a place over there.:bible:

When I think about it, it makes me very nervous. I know it's s'posed to be unimaginable joy like nothing we have on earth. But it is FOREVER. I can't do anything forever. I keep wondering what if I want to leave?! I have a bit of wanderlust in general, a need to not be stuck or tied to to anything for too long. But even Heaven?!
Don't you worry, you won't miss your earthly life."For behold, I create new heavensand a new earth, and the former things shall not be rememberedor come into mind."(Isaiah 65:17)

... Fear is not from God, it's from devil...
True but don't forget that we are suppost to fear God and his might, out of respect, not literally afraid of him.

thats where our Bible basically begins its the story of this age and how it began and will end.)
If the Bible "begins" at this present age, how could you possibly know what happened in a prior age?

We are told in several places it was a hidden mystery revealed by Peter and its in the Hebrew of Gen. 1:1-2 and its alluded to in other places in the scripture.

1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. From those two verses you get THIS??? first of all we are only appointed to live in flesh bodies once. However we were created in the first eath age and lived upon the earth. Then Satan rebelled and many of us followed him in his rebellion thus God destroyed that age and started this age

Read Denvers study on the three world ages the "was" in Gen 1:2 is "became" not "was" but its not that simple you have to read the Hebrew you can also see it here http://www.rightdivision.com/html/overview_of_the_ages.htmlor you can read Peter 5 But it is hid from them willing this thing, that heavens were before, and the earth of water was standing by water, by God's word [that heavens were first, and the earth of water and by water being, or standing, together by God's word]; 6 by which [things] that same world cleansed, then by water perished. 7 But the heavens that now be, and the earth, be kept by the same word, and be reserved to fire into the day of doom and perdition of wicked men. [Forsooth the heavens that now be, and the earth, by the same word put again, be kept to fire into the day of doom and perdition of unpious men.] Now if you think this is talking about the flood you are wrong the flood was never hidden there is a flood story in every civilizartion on earth from the earliest days and futhermore Noahs flood never destroyed the heaven this is the first age and the heavens and earth that be now are the current age that was the hidden mystery Peter revealed.

I would like to discuss heaven. Although there have been many to make heaven out to be a bunch of floating clouds, Jesus didn't explain it this way. When we see how He explained it, He said He was going to prepare a place for us that has many mansions (some interpret as rooms)-John 14:2. He said that we would be like the angels in heaven-Luke 20:34; not being married. They all are sent out to do various tasks as the Father sees fit. There will also be those called least and greater in heaven (see Matthew 5:19,20). That may determine the jobs we do. The apostle Paul was given a vision that has always seemed fascinating to me in which he descibes a man being caught up to the third heaven, which would imply levels in heaven (2 Corinthians 12:1-4). Anyway, I really think that heaven is so far out of what we can imagine (Paul says it this way, "Eye has not seen, nor ear has heard, nor has entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." ) so I am thrilled to even be made worthy through Christ to be a part of it! So feel too blessed to be stressed:)

The question is, how can these children be born with deformities, and yet, they live? And that's because God loves them enough to let them live long enough to put their faith in him, and give them a chance to go to heaven. And children are born with deformities because of sin, and sin is because of Satan.

do you believe that children born with mental deficencies, can go to heaven despite not having the understanding to put their faith in Jesus? (just curious about your view)

Hmm.... Good point. I'm not sure about that, but if we are all born in sin, and babies with mental deficencies die without Christ, then who knows? Maybe they go to heaven, maybe they go to hell. Only the lord knows. Thanks for the insight.

We are all born into sin but babies or people born with these deficencies are found Blameless... Blamless means without blame they did not have free will to make a choice they could not understand through no fault of their own ..... they will be taught during the milliuem and have another chance

When David lost his child, after having an affair with Bathsheba, he said he would one day go to his son after he died.(2 Samuel 12:23) Babies do go to heaven.

I mean after the second coming of Christ there is 1000years before Satan is let lose again for a little while this thousand year period is for those who are deemed worthy like the blameless or those who died never hearing of Christ are taught by the Elect and Christ himself after they have learned the truth they are tested the same as we will be tested then comes the white throne Judgement where all are Judged by God. God is always fairAnd I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. these are the Elect who overcame did not take the mark of the beast Antichrist(Satan) Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Rev 20:7 ¶ And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
