By His grace & by His help, I wish to address the issue of the KJV versus all modern Bibles because that is how christian theology stems from.

Scripture cannot go against scripture and when I find the testimony regarding the Son in scripture having been changed in modern Bibles, it is why I love the King James Bible for keeping the testimonies regarding the Son.

Psalm 119:157 Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies. 158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

So I am going to put to any naysayer out there that you should love His words that testifies of the Son and be offended when modern Bibles decline from that testimonies of the Son.

If we ever have a question as to Who the scripture should be testifying about whether it be the Holy Spirit or the Son of God, it will be the Son of God because the indwelling holy Spirit is in us to testify of the Son to glorify the Son and scripture will do that too as inspired by the Holy Spirit.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Jesus foretold the necessity to discern by Him which Bible version is loving Him enough to keep His words.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Now the OP will begin with; do you love Him to keep the testimonies regarding the Son?

Then in the next post, God be willing, I shall address a major translation error in all modern Bibles that has led believers to overlook other scripture within that same modern Bible that exposes that errant translation, and yet many still regard it not as they are steep in apostasy where only God can peradventure to deliver them from this snare of the devil.

Again, this is sharing why the Lord Jesus Christ has led me to rely on Him as my Good Shepherd to see why the KJV is the only one to rely on that is keeping the meat of His words in discerning good and evil by, in keeping the faith which is the good fight.

It may be that some of you are not ready for the meat; so pray that HE will help you receive.

1 Corinthians 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Hebrews 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

To be continued, God be willing....and may God help me too...

The first major errant translation is the one supporting false teachings about this tongue which never comes with interpretation, but is just babbling nonsense gained by the apostasy that one can receive the Holy Spirit APART from salvation with evidence of tongues or by a similar apostasy of seeking to receive another baptism with the Holy Ghost with evidence of tongues.

So let us address the truth as found in all modern Bibles and the KJV about how the Holy Spirit will speak and NOT speak in John 16:13.

John 16:13 KJV;ESV;NIV;NASB;ASV - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, - Bible Gateway

" for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: " KJV

" for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak " ESV

" He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, " NIV

" for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; " NASB

" for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: " ASV

May the Lord allow this to sink into your ears...

The Holy Spirit CANNOT use tongues as a prayer language. Period. He cannot speak of Himself, cannot speak on His own authority; cannot speak on His own, cannot speak on His own initiative, and cannot speak from Himself and therefore cannpt speak a prayer language to give His own intercessions directly to God. Nope. Cannot do it.

This reference of John 16:13 proves the mistranslation of Romans 8:26-27 that has misled believers that the Holy Spirit can speak on His own in turning God's gift of tongues which is to speak unto the people, and turn it around for some secret prayer language or for self edification from the Spirit. Not so.

So let's go to the King James Bible in seeing how they got it right.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. KJV

We go to this site to see the word "alaletos" spelled as " alalhtoiV" where "which cannot be uttered" at the end of verse 26 comes from as it is defined:

HTML Bible Index - King James Version - Strongs Concordance - Frames Version

"from a - a 1 (as a negative particle) and a derivative of lalew - laleo 2980; unspeakable:--unutterable, which cannot be uttered."

No sound. What is giving no sound. The groanings are silent.

From the Greek word "stenagmoV" or "stenagmos" is the definition as:

"from stenazw - stenazo 4727; a sigh:--groaning."

That lines up with scripture in John 16:13. So now we ask if the Holy Spirit has intercessions, how can He utter them or make them known? By having ANOTHER know the mind of the Spirit; that is how as this Other One will give the unspeakable intercessions of the Spirit's to the Father for the Spirit.

Romans 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. KJV

So Who is the "he" in verse 27? It cannot be "the Spirit" as the NIV has it for that would be committing a grammatical error. How can he that is separate from us in searching our hearts and be the same he that is separate from the Spirit to know the mind of, be the Spirit? So "he" cannot be the Spirit that verse 27 is testifying about. Verse 27 is realy testifying of the Son of God, being the only Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus for which in according to the will of God is being applied towards. Look.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

So the Word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart as Jesus Christ, the Son of God is that Word of God that does this. And so He is the One that knows the mind of the Spirit. He is the only Mediator between God and men do be doing this in according to the will of God.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Romans 8:26-27 KJV;ESV;NIV;NASB;ASV - Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our - Bible Gateway

You can compare the KJV with the ESV, NIV, NASB, & ASV and you will find that the ESV & the NIV switched out the "he" in verse 27 to be "the Spirit" and thus committing a grammatical error whereas the NASB & the ASV maintained that proper pronoun "he".

So the Holy Spirit does have intercessions for us, but He cannot give them or make them known to God for His intercessions are unspeakable & unutterable and all modern Bibles confirms that in John 16:13 as He can only speak what He hears and that is why God's gift of tongues are for speaking unto the people; it can never be used as a prayer language by the Holy Spirit.

It is apostasy to believe you can receive the Holy Spirit separate from salvation;

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.....
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Continued from post # 2... on John 16:13 in all modern Bibles as I rely on the Lord Jesus Christ in proving errant translations in all modern Bibles of Romans 8:26-27

I know the supernatural event is real, but that is not the Holy Spirit bringing that tongue which NEVER comes with interpretation nor be of other men's lips to speak unto the people.

Just as some are faking the tongues, there are some faking the translations. Even Joyce Meyers testified in how she interprets is by "getting a sense of what is being said" which is another way of saying, she is guessing. Believers are not testing the spirits as the apostle John told them to do and so they want to believe this phenomenon and that tongue it brings is of God. It is not.

Unfortunately, many tongue speakers ignore the truth in John 16:13, and take the errant translation of Romans 8:26-27 in all modern Bibles to say that the Holy Spirit can use tongues as a prayer language. Only God can deliver them from this snare of the devil, but for those not involved in it, and are wondering about it, don't go there to seek after the Holy Spirit to receive with tongues, because it is not of Him when He is already in you as promised at your salvation.

Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. 15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

Just pray normally to know what you had prayed for so you can give the Father thanks in Jesus's name for answered prayers which is the will of God for YOU to do.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Seek edification from the written scripture and not this "self edifying tongue" which Paul says is unfruitful even to himself, as lacking understanding.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness......24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Only the Lord can help you to see why I rely ONLY on the KJV for the meat of His words to discern good and evil by it by His help & by His grace as Romans 8:27 declined from the testimony of the Son in being the only Mediator between God and men in all modern Bibles except the KJV.

It is important when keeping the faith which is the good fight, and Jesus Christ as my Good shepherd, has to help me to do even that as well.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 25 Brethren, pray for us.

Proverbs 25:26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring. 27 It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory. 28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

1 Corinthians 14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

For those wishing to defend that we are saved now and not in the process of being saved, you may find a hard time defending that faith in reproving it as a false teaching when some modern Bibles have changed a verse to give doubts to their salvation and thus support to that false teaching.

We turn to 1 Corinthians 1:18 where at the link in comparing the KJV with the ESV, NIV, NASB, and the ASV, we can see that the KJV and teh ASV maintained that testimony that we are saved whereas the ESV, NIV, and the NASB are saying we are being saved.

1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV;ESV;NIV;NASB;ASV - For the preaching of the cross is to - Bible Gateway

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. KJV

Most believers spouting from their education, say that the KJV is wrong and that being saved is correct, because preaching is a verb by which being saved is why it is correct, BUT preaching of the cross is the topic and thus the phrase is a noun whereas the perish is past tense for those that do not believe that preaching of the cross and thereby we are saved for those that believe.

We turn to another verse on donw from verse 18 to testify of what the preaching does when one believes.

1 Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

It pleased ( past tense ) God that the foolishness of preaching of the cross saves those that believe.

Anyway, although the ASV and mayhap a few other has it correct in verse 18 "are saved", you may want to check your Bible first if you are trying to correct someone that believes but lives without assurance that they are saved. You can see how important to have the right Bible because the wrong one supports false teachings and they can point to other verses making one think they are not saved yet. It does not matter if you have some verses to counter that in that modern Bible if the one you are using has it as being saved in 1 Corinthians 1:18. That verse is just enough to sow doubts in God's words, and people driven without assurance and fear will play it safe and strive to work for their salvation, regardless of scripture like Hebrews 4:1-11 in saying so otherwise as shown at this link in the KJV.

Bible Gateway passage: Hebrews 4 - King James Version

With the first example in the OP in defending the faith against apostasy, this is another reason why I rely only on the KJV for the meat of His words in discerning good and evil by it with His help in keeping the faith which is the good fight that we are saved simply by believing in Jesus Christ.

What we build on that foundation will be judged but the foundation remains which is why we are saved, no matter what. See Verse 15 of 1 Corinthians 3:10-17 at this link.

Bible Gateway passage: 1 Corinthians 3:10-17 - King James Version

The danger though is thinking it doesn't matter and that you can live in sin. Not so.

2 Peter 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

You can wind up being corrupted in sowing to the flesh and defiling the temple of God that way that you can risk a physical death for not repenting from ( see verse 16-17 of 1 Corinthians 3:10-17 above at that link ). AND you run the risk of being left behind at the pre trib rapture event to be received later on as a vessel unto dishonor in His House for not looking to Him for help to depart from iniquity. ( 1 Peter 4:17-19 & 2 Timothy 2:19-21 & 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 at the link below.

Bible Gateway passage: 1 Peter 4:17-19, 2 Timothy 2:19-21, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 - King James Version

So salvation and discipleship are two different things. Salvation and running that race are two different things. Salvation is done by faith in Jesus Christ as their Saviour that they are saved simply by believing in Him and discipleship & running that race are to be done by faith in Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd by believing in Him that He will help us to follow Him. Both done by faith in Jesus Christ.

The eternal glory that comes with our salvation is to be a vessel unto honor in His House to be received at the pre trib rapture event to attend the Marriage Supper and have a place in the city of God in Heaven. Those saints left behind will not be partakers of that first inheritance and so like Esau and the prodigal son, they will have a second best inheritance which is to have a place down on earth serving the King of kings somewhere else in the world outside of New Jerusalem when it comes down from Heaven after the great tribulation, but it is possible for them to die again until death and hades be put away in the lake of fire after the milleniel reign of Christ. It is only the power of the second death that cannot touch these resurrected believers out of the great tribulation, and they can visit the city of God to eat from the tree of life for the healing of the nations.

But who wants second best when the first inheritance is like the angels that never die. That is teh eternal glory that comes with our salvation in Christ Jesus. So may those who desire the first inheritance, ask Jesus Christ to be your Good Shepherd to help you discern & depart from iniquity, and keep you from that iniquity, and He will do it.

1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure....8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Amen.

So remember; you are saved no matter what; but discipleship and running that race is the call to live that reconciled relationship with God thru Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd so trust Him today in helping you to discern iniquity to depart from them and get ready to leave this world and teh cares of this life behind when the Bridegroom comes for the abiding bride of Christ at the pre trib rapture event.

You can only run that race and have power to live as His disciple when you ave been saved by faith in Jesus Christ as your Saviour.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
