The hell exists in the space far above our earth, which can be seen only by the grace of God

The hell exists in the space far above our earth, which can be seen only by the grace of God. The reason is that the souls embedded in the energetic bodies reaching hell for punishments and the divine administration staff including the entire hell is made of energy, which has frequency far above the reachable frequency of the electromagnetic spectrum. The concept of hell will give some control on the sin, which is very much advantageous to anybody. If the faith on the existence of the hell shades away, your future will be very serious and I assuredly tell all of you about this point.

You may argue that I cannot take you into the space and show the existence of the hell to you. But, at the same time you cannot also take Me into this infinite space up to its boundary and show Me the non-existence of the hell. In such case, the hell may exist or may not exist. Both the options have equal probability. In such case, a wise person will select the probability of lesser risk, which is to believe the existence of hell. If you are careful in not doing the sins, based on your faith in the existence of hell, nothing is lost even if the hell is absent. If you take other option to disbelieve the existence of hell and go on doing the sins, you are lost if the hell exists. Therefore, the first option is always far better than the second one. You need not believe that much only whatever is seen by you. Inference is also an authority of the knowledge in which you believe in the existence of something, which is not seen by you. The miracles exhibited by the devotees in this world prove the existence of unimaginable areas.

The Veda says that the past memory of the hell or previous birth is nipped off with the nails of God (Paraanchi Khaani...). This means that the memory in us is lost by the will of God only. The reason is that if the memory of the hell remains, the individual will just shiver with fear and will be unable to do anything or even to read the scripture. This is not desirable to God, who likes the soul to start a fresh life forgetting all the past and achieve not only the worldly goals but also spiritual goals. Similarly, if the memory of the previous births exists in the mind of the human being, such a human being will utterly confuse due to millions of family bonds that appear whenever it goes out of the house.

In such a confusion, the human being will become mad and the same situation of inactivity results. Hence, everything set-up by God has its own meaning and do not criticize God in hasty manner. A passenger suffering with heat in summer came under a huge Neem tree to rest for some time. He thought that God is foolish because the huge tree is having tiny fruits where as the tender pumpkin creeper is loaded with very big fruits. Thinking like this, he slept for some time. He awoke after some time and found the tiny fruits, which have fallen on him from the tree. Then he realized his mistake thinking that he was foolish where as God is very wise. If the huge tree has proportionally huge fruits, his head should have been broken by the fruits, which are fallen on him! Therefore, patience must be the first quality of the spiritual knowledge as said by Shankara (Shamadamaadi...).

For the first paragraph sounds like pascal's wager. He was a scientist but decided it better to believe in God because the risk was only in believing he doesn't exist.

But proper faith requires more than that me thinks. What is the proper response to deciding to believe in God. I wouldn't say it is only to stop sinning and do good. That would be works based salvation.

You are right...
There are six vices: 1) Anger or violence, 2) Greediness or corruption, 3) Illegal sex, 4) Fascination to world, 5) Ego and 6) Jealousy.

Out of these six, the first three are very serious leading the soul certainly to hell since these three sins are harming others. The latter three sins do not lead to hell provided there is no damage to others. If you have fascination to world, you need not go to hell if your fascination to your wife/husband or issues or money does not harm others. Similarly, your ego will not take you to hell as long as your ego doesn’t hurt others. Similarly, your jealousy towards others will not give any punishment in hell if it is not harming others. Sometimes, jealousy also helps you in your development. If you examine the first three sins, your anger/violence will certainly damage others. Similarly, your greediness for money is resulting in corruption by which you are stealing others’ money by which others suffer. Similarly, your illegal sex will certainly cause suffering to others.

When Dharmaraja asked his grandfather, Bhishma, about the essence of justice, Bhishma replied that the essence of justice is that one should not do that to others, which, if is done by others to him results in hurting himself. Therefore, the criminal nature of the sin resulting in punishment is always due to only damage done by yourself to others. Hence, God in the Gita mentioned that only these three sins are the main gates to hell, which are violence, financial corruption and illegal sex.

The foremost sin is violence to kill other living beings for the sake of food or some other personal grudge. God Brahma becomes furious by this sin because He alone is the authority to grant longevity. When you do not have power to give life to a killed living being, you do not have any right to kill any living being. The death sentence given by a judge should be ultimate. It means that before implementing death sentence to a living being, you should give several chances to the soul for rectification of sin by reformation. Reformation is the real aim of any punishment and not vengeance. You are hanging a person to death for the only reason that the criminal may kill another human being. If reformation is achieved and the sin is not practically repeated, there is no need of punishment. Similarly, killing a living being for food is the top most level of this first sin. You must always imagine that you are captured by a demon, which is going to eat you! Whatever agony you feel in that time and during the time of cutting your body by the jaws of the demon, the same agony is felt by that living being, being killed for the sake of your food! God Brahma represents the quality of Rajas and the anger in violence is also due to Rajas only. This is the qualitative link.

The second type of sin is stealing by cheating or robbing others money by force. Money is Goddess Lakshmi and hence this type of sin makes God Vishnu to become furious. Today, almost everyone is a victim of corruption. Before cheating somebody for the sake of money, you should analyse the damage done to others especially poor people. You must at least avoid corruption in the case of poor people. If you rob the wealth of a sinner, that money should not be enjoyed by yourself and your family members. That should be spent to serve the beggars or should be spent for spiritual purpose. You may digest even most dangerous poison but not the sinful money, which will destroy yourself and your family. It is said that the sinful money earned by you comes like a railway engine to carry away by linking with your earned money through justice also, which is like a series of compartments standing on the track by the side of a platform (Anyaayenaarjitam vittam sahamoolam vinashyati).

You must analyze carefully whenever you earn or spend money. Most of the people spend money in the way that leads them to hell only. Expenditure or donation of money also leads you to hell. Everybody is spending lot of money on functions donating to relatives and friends, who have enough food in their homes. You spend lot of money on a function due to your desire to expose yourself based on ego. You deny food to a beggar dying with hunger. You calculate to give food to a devotee or spiritual preacher coming to your house, who helps you in elevating your spiritual knowledge or devotion. Money is never wasted because its expenditure will either bring good (Punyam) or bad (Paapam). Even if you throw money into river to call it as wastage, such act is also a sin. Hence, you should be very careful with deep analysis while earning or spending money.

The third type of sin is illegal sex, which is based on blind lust linked to the quality of Tamas. If you are cheating a husband by going with his wife or cheating a father by going with his daughter, imagine yourself standing in the place of such husband and father!

God created this world and is very particular of the justice, peace and balance of this society. You must avoid these three types of sins at least due to fear to hell created by God. This is the minimum and maximum expectation of God from a human being. God is not furious even if the human being is an atheist provided the atheist avoids the above three types of sins. Even an atheist is granted heaven if he/she follows the justice avoiding the sins. In fact, God maintains the atheists because they are also in Divine service. They do the service of God by acting as examiners to devotees. On hearing the criticism of God from an atheist, whether the devotion of a devotee is shaken or not is the test. They criticize theists doing sins and this develops alertness and care in devotees. They disprove the false miracles done by exploiters, which is very much essential to save the devotees from false trap of false devotees and pseudo human incarnations.

If you are living as per this minimum and maximum expectation of God, He is pleased with you even if you are an atheist. He never encourages devotion. Devotion is the field started by human souls only and not God. God creates several obstructions to the devotion in the name of tests as we see the life histories of several devotees.

God never wants your personal attachment to Him. God discourages such attachment by creating problems in the spiritual path. His ultimate goal and ultimate expectation from humanity is Pravrutti only. Pravrutti means doing justice or atleast not doing injustice or sin. Fear is unable to bring any such change in the soul. Theists believe in God, heaven and hell, but, still are doing sins. They think that worship or service (rituals) to God will neutralise their sins. This is totally a wrong concept. One will go to heaven for good deeds and will go to hell for bad deeds.

Good deeds cannot neutralise any bad deed. Fruits are separate and you have to enjoy both the fruits separately. Unless, you are reformed totally, your bad deeds can't be cancelled. Reformation means not repeating the sin practically. Except this one way there is no other way that can cancel the sin. Such reformation can be attained by spiritual knowledge and devotion to God.

The foremost sin is violence to kill other living beings for the sake of food or some other personal grudge.

Is it a sin to be angry? That depends if we act on our anger and commit a sin, or letting it fester into hatred is also a sin.
Matthew 5:22: "But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell."
Ephesians 4:26: “In your anger do not sin”[a]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry"
1 John 3:15: "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him."

We also have examples of God becoming angry at the Israelites for their disobedience. And there was the time when Jesus turned over the tables of the money changers at the temple. So since God is not a hypocrite, his anger must have been justified.

Is it a sin to kill and eat animals? No, but there are many vegetarian Christians, it is touching when it is done out of kindness.
Romans 14:2-3 "One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them."

If you rob the wealth of a sinner, that money should not be enjoyed by yourself and your family members.
God himself will deal with the sinner. I believe all I'll gotten gain should be avoided, but if you happen upon money do what is right with it.
Ecclesiastes 2:26: "To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind."

Expenditure or donation of money also leads you to hell.
Here we see the rich man's gift to God was of no effect, because he was proud.
Luke 18:11-14: "11The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’

13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”'

And here we see that doing things to be seen by men will not be rewarded by God.
1“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

2“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

God gives these sins special attention:

Revelation 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
1 Corinthians 6:9 "Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a]"
Galatians 5:19-21 "19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy,[a] drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."

If we look at your list how does it compare with one of these verses: Revelation 21:8
You said:"1) Anger or violence, 2) Greediness or corruption, 3) Illegal sex, 4) Fascination to world, 5) Ego and 6) Jealousy."

  • Cowardly? I suppose cowardice is greed for one's own life, or ego which is self importance. Jesus said in Matthew 16:25: "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it."
  • Unbelieving? Not listed, this is very important.
Hebrews 3:12-15 "12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14 We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. 15 As has just been said:

“Today, if you hear his voice,
    do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion.”[c]"
  • The vile, or in some translations abominable: This is harder to nail down, because all sin is abominable to God.
  • Murderers, Check.
  • Sexually immoral. Illegal sex is not specific, but it would fall under the sexually immorality umbrella. Sexual immorality is any type of sexual expression other than marriage between a man and a woman. Though others may disagree to excuse their wickedness.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20: "18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."
  • magic arts or sorcery? Not listed directly, Magic is connected with the demonic. Ephesians 5:12: It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
  • Idolaters? Not listed. Idolatry is similar to sexual immorality, it makes one a whore to other gods.
Hosea 4:12:My people consult a wooden idol,
and a diviner’s rod speaks to them.
    A spirit of prostitution leads them astray;
they are unfaithful to their God.

  • liars? Not exactly listed. God is the Spirit of Truth, so naturally he hates lies. David said by the Spirit: Psalm 26:4 I do not sit with men of falsehood, nor do I consort with hypocrites.
But all this prattling on about sins, and we do not mention the most basic Truth, no sin is excused:
Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
1 John 1:8 "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us"
James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.
We would be condemned without Jesus. The atheist does not believe in Jesus or the one who sent him, he is without excuse and will be condemned if he persists in unbelief.

Let us analyse these points.
Cow is an animal of soft nature, which does not harm you in anyway. But, there are other soft natured animals also like goat, deer etc. The basic law is that you can kill even a human being if that human being is attacking your life. The same applies to any living being. You can kill a tiger or a lion or a wolf, which will certainly attack you even if you do not harm it. Applying this basic law, it is not justified to kill any soft natured animal, which does not harm you. You may argue that you are killing it for the sake of your food. You may say that you have to save your life by the food only and hence it is inevitable. I agree if the situation is like that in which you are unable to get food by any alternative way and you have to save your life in draught by killing even a soft natured animal. This is justified as special justice in emergency (Dharmasukhma in Apatdharma). But this is not justified when God has given plenty of alternative food. You may argue that even cutting the paddy etc, is also slaughtering living beings because plant has life. Here, you must distinguish life from awareness. Life is only an inert mechanism of taking oxygen and leaving carbon dioxide. In view of this, plants are said to be living beings. But, there is no development of this life into advanced stage called as awareness, which exists as mind, intelligence etc. When the awareness exists, the living being killed experiences the same pain, which you get when you are killed. There is homogeneity between yourself and zoological kingdom of life containing insects, birds, animals etc. All the plants come under a different subject called Botany in which the life is limited to simple mechanism of inert respiration only. If you have studied Botany and Zoology as different subjects, this question will not attack your mind. You may further argue that the flesh or vegetable contains the same chemical components like Carbohydrates, Proteins, Vitamins etc., and hence eating flesh and vegetable food are one and the same. I fully agree with your point and say that there is no sin in eating flesh because of the presence of same ingredients of plants. If you go to the cause of acquiring the flesh and vegetable food, an animal with awareness is killed for flesh and a plant without awareness is cut for grains. In the stage of cause, there is lot of difference because awareness exists in zoological items and the same does not exists in botanical items. You may argue that you are not directly cutting the animal for the flesh. You might have not done the sin directly, but since you are consuming the flesh, the butcher is cutting the animal. Hence, as a consumer, you are indirectly an equal participant of the sin. I do not want to enter much into ethics or scriptures in this subject. I stand simply on one point, which is that just you think that you are in the place of that animal being cut and then imagine the pain. This one point is sufficient in this subject.

Therefore, killing any soft natured animal or any soft natured human being is a sin provided it does not attack your life. Except this one point, you should not kill any human being or any soft natured zoological living being. All other reasons can be enquired by law and corresponding justified punishments other than death sentence should be given. Hence, cow slaughter is only a part of the total concept and this part should not be emphasized as the total concept. You try to extend this partial concept to the other similar items also and arrive at the general total concept. Taking the advantage of the slaughter of other soft animals, you should not kill the cow.

The fundamental cellular fluid in Botany is cytoplasm whereas the fundamental cellular fluid in Zoology is protoplasm. The neuro spot giving awareness exists even in unicellular organisms (Amoeba) of Zoology. If you justify killing of animals for the sake of food, you have to simultaneously justify the killing of human beings for food by demon or present carnivorous human beings present in the forest. Kaapaalikas eating the dead bodies of human beings are justified. Proteins primarily synthesized in plants are good for health whereas proteins re-synthesized in flesh are not good for health. Bhagavan Shri Satya Sai Baba even as a boy used to become curious if a bull of cart was beaten. The highest justice is non-violence (Ahimsa paramo dharmah…). If you say that you will kill the animal by giving anesthesia, it is also not justified because you have no right to take away the God given life from its enjoyment. Will you justify your killing also by the demon if anesthesia is given to you? In such case, even an atheist will argue such human killing is unjust!

Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was found killing blood (bed) bugs in His cot. The blood (bed) bug or a mosquito can be killed harming you seriously. But, non-harming ant or butterfly etc., should not be killed. Bhagavan Shri Shirdi Saibaba showed the wound on His body when a devotee beat a buffalo. By this, He is preaching that human being doing violence should keep in the place of victim and imagine the suffering of the violence. Can He be a non-vegetarian as some people criticize? Buddha left this family life on seeing when a swan was shot. In the Valmiki Ramayanam, an inserted incident was told that Rama killed a deer in Panchavati forest. He killed certainly the golden deer since He knows it as a demon in disguise. Rama was never a non-vegetarian as spoken in the Valmiki Ramayana itself (Na maamsam Raghavo Bhunkte…). Even Jesus, the embodiment of love, was not a non-vegetarian and reports otherwise are false, which were created by the non-vegetarian followers only. Mahavir preached extreme non-violence by restricting the justified non-violence also so that people will not do atleast the justified non-violence. Here, (n+1) rule applies, which is to preach the highest goal so that atleast high and higher goals are achieved by the followers.

Non-violence is the fundamental justice and no divine scripture in the world can preach atleast the justified non-violence. Scriptures are polluted by the insertions done by the followers and hence, logical analysis is the ultimate filter to reject such insertions. Sometimes the human incarnation may not oppose such fundamental non-violence also since it is strongly established. The human incarnation may neglect even such fundamental issue in view of concentration on other issues so that when other issues are rectified, this fundamental issue can be taken by next human incarnation in course of time. Such fundamental strong issue is dealt by partial controls step by step. The scripture says that fish should not be captured on holy days in holy places. This is a partial control in the initial stage. Finally, the scripture preaches the step called as ‘Mahavratam’, which is not to catch the fish in any place on any day. Full and permanent reformation on any issue can come only through the divine scriptural knowledge. Enforcement through rules can bring only partial and temporary control.

7Little children, let no one deceive you! The one who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous.
Ethics explain this subject in the form of commandments from God. An ordinary soul trying for success and happiness should simply follow these Pravrutti-commandments(path of justice) and this stage itself introduces the first impression in the mind of God that is essential basis for Nivrutti (total surrender to God). If you disobey His commandments in Pravrutti, how can you be His devotee in Nivrutti? Loyalty is basis of love. Hence, if the internal quality is to decide the external results, the commandment of God that a specific quality is good to be done and a specific quality is bad not to be done should be obeyed, which becomes the root of root.

Again and again I am showing you only one solution that only God is the ultimate (root of root) solution for any problem. If you have enough faith in the omniscience of God, you will not do any sin secretly. The court may not find it in the absence of proof of witness. But, God is the one witness whose eyes are never closed and see everything, everywhere and everytime. This itself controls the sins and related bad qualities provided the faith on God is full. God does not mind if you exploit His name to protect yourself from injustice, but, today, people are misusing His name to cheat others and do injustice. One must fear for the horrible hells and liquid fire after judgement. If you are diverted to God and His work, there is no leisure time and extra energy to engage in a sin and its related bad quality and a non-entertained quality becomes weak and disappears.

If you don’t entertain the guest visiting your house, he will not come again to your house. Continuous engagement in God will control everything since God is omnipotent and also very kind, interested to uplift every soul. If you are interested in any other subject, you may be free from bad qualities in that span of time only, which will appear forcibly later on at anytime to revenge on you. Bad qualities or bad thoughts fear for God since there is nothing, which does not fear for the omniscient and omnipotent God. The Veda says that air, sun and even death fear for God functioning with perfect discipline (Bhishaasmaat...). If you surrender to God with sacrifice and service, I, assuredly tell all of you that even the problems will run away.

No quality is good or bad by itself. Any quality becomes good if it is diverted and dedicated to God. Any quality becomes bad if it is diverted and dedicated to these illusory worldly bonds. Every soul will realise the truth in the last minute of the life by the grace of God. The vast knowledge of God presented now gives right solutions for all problems.

By the context 1 John 3:6 is about continuing to sin. It is not saying that people are made righteous by their works. It is like the saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. Someone who is righteous will do what is right.

Romans 3 explains that no one is righteous.

Even Jesus, the embodiment of love, was not a non-vegetarian and reports otherwise are false, which were created by the non-vegetarian followers only.

There is nothing authoritative about Jesus that is not written in the Bible. It reveals that Jesus did eat meat. Saying otherwise is an attempt to carry over traditions from another belief.

they have at least a credible argument imo
Someone who is righteous will do what is right.
i dislike the way this has been switched; the passage implies a truth that is popularly refuted, in "do not be deceived," therefore implying that what is in fact meant is just that it is those who do right that are right, and nothing else really matters. "The Righteous" are a very nebulous group imo; next you'll be trying to define them for me. "Don't be deceived" = "everything else is smoke."

you are going to be called to do the right thing here any minute, or sometime tonight, or tomorrow; and what you do in the moment is all that matters. Understand I AM.

By the context 1 John 3:6 is about continuing to sin. It is not saying that people are made righteous by their works. It is like the saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. Someone who is righteous will do what is right.

Romans 3 explains that no one is righteous.
Once the sin is committed, it is recorded in the file of any soul through miraculous audio-video system called Chitragupta. Due to this system, the sin appears as an audio-video cassette. There is no need of any more witness as required in our present honourable courts. The deity of justice in the hell stands with open eyes without any black cloth covering them since the deity sees directly the case and gives appropriate judgement. No witness and no lawyers are required. This divine system is extended to some extent to this world as the present audio-video technology.

The only way to escape the punishment of past sin is non-repetition of sin practically due to reformation by spiritual knowledge. Hence, if the sin is not repeated from today onwards, all the punishments of such type of sins get cancelled. But, remember that the file of the soul remains as it is since file is a record of various types of other sins also already committed. This file is called Samchita. Future punishments shall be added in this file in the name Aagami. The fruit to be enjoyed in this world itself is called as Praarabdham, which is of two types: 1) the past fruit that caused the present life and 2) the fruits of present intensive deeds (good or bad) did in this life to be enjoyed in this world itself immediately. The heaven and hell exist in the upper worlds for all normal routine deeds, but, both the heaven and hell exist here in this world also for intensive deeds.

How to get the total file destroyed so that we can escape the punishments of all our past sins computerized as various types? Deletion of one type of sins cannot bring total solution. For this, total reformation is needed so that non-repetition of all types of sins can take place. This is possible only when you enter into work of propagation of spiritual knowledge in this world. During the propagation, concepts are again and again get repeated continuously and this process of impressions on mind (Mananam) leads to digestion of concepts permanently in your brain (Nididhyaasa). The Veda says “Hear, memorise and digest” (shrotavyo...). Since you are in the work of divine service of propagation of spiritual knowledge, God will order to keep your file in cold storage since the soul in the work should not be disturbed by implementation of the file. Of course, the interests are continuously added in the file. Don’t worry about this interest. Once you are totally reformed, your file, the record of principle and interest shall be burnt since there is no need of punishments if the soul is really reformed, proved by non-repetition of any type of sin from today onwards.
