No - you're part of a bizarre cult that was established in 1980 by a couple who refer to themselves as "Generals".
Anybody who wants to learn more about this weird sect can learn about them and their drones at aggressivechristianity.net.

It'll give you a better understanding of where mrhealth is coming from and why his beliefs are so anti-Biblical . . .
Has he admitted to adhering to the their teaching or are you just deducing this based on his statements?

Curious and concerned Mary!

No - he has admitted in the past that this is where he gets his perverse doctrines.
He has defended this cult when I have exposed their bizarre teachings.

Evidence Mary evidence. Go look and see who brought that web site up. go look and see who promotes it, not I.

Once 2 weeks ago, He know more about it than I do,
On Feb. 19th - in a debate with me regarding Peter being the Rock upon which the Church was built - YOU referred to this website to define what "ekklesia" meant:
https://www.christianityboard.com/threads/was-peter-thr-rock-that-the-church-was-built-upon.11318/page-12#post-78244

You have since defended this cult.
Try being honest, for a change . . .

Dear Sir,

You did what scripture says to do; repent and baptized... (Acts 2:38).

The person who baptized you did what scripture says to do; ....baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matt. 28:19).

Are you now saying when you went to a man in a church to be baptized you were an ignorant child? You have now put away those childish things and you NOW realize you didn't need to get baptized by a man in a church?

Mary!
Peter declared, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children" (Acts 2:38–39).

The apostolic Church baptized whole "households" (Acts 16:33; 1 Cor. 1:16), a term encompassing children and infants as well as servants. While these texts do not specifically mention—nor exclude—infants, the very use of the term "households" indicates an understanding of the family as a unit. Even one believing parent in a household makes the children and even the unbelieving spouse "holy" (1 Cor. 7:14).

Does this mean unbelieving spouses should be baptized? Of course not. The kingdom of God is not theirs; they cannot be "brought to Christ" in their unbelief. But infants have no such impediment. The kingdom is theirs, Jesus says, and they should be brought to him; and this means baptism.

Baptism is the Christian equivalent of circumcision, or "the circumcision of Christ": "In him you were also circumcised with . . . the circumcision of Christ, having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead" (Col. 2:11–12). Thus, like circumcision, baptism can be given to children as well as adults. The difference is that circumcision was powerless to save (Gal. 5:6, 6:15), but "baptism . . . now saves you" (1 Pet. 3:21).
Early Teachings on Infant Baptism | Catholic Answers

The first explicit evidence of children of believing households being baptized comes from the early Church—where infant baptism was uniformly upheld and regarded as apostolic. In fact, the only reported controversy on the subject was a third-century debate whether or not to delay baptism until the eighth day after birth, like its Old Testament equivalent, circumcision!

Ahhhh - so now you condemn your cult?
Try being honest for a change.

Do you profess the bizarre doctrines on aggressivechristianity.net or do you reject them?
Is this your church or do you belong to another sect?

PS - before you respond with something vague like, "I belong to the Church of Christ" or some other cop-out - I am asking which church you attend,

Dear sir,

The question was asked of you: Do you profess the bizarre doctrines on aggressivechristianity.net or do you reject them?
Is this your church or do you belong to another sect?

You didn't answer it. Instead you dodged it.

A simple answer would clear all this up. If you do adhere to the teachings of aggressivechristianity.net I am concerned for your soul.

Love, Mary

No.
Oh - it's on Youtube, so it MUST be true - right?
Unbelievably ignorant.

Which part of this illustrates “worship”??
Other than the ominous music in the background while showing people in prayer – this video is silly.
It purports that Catholics “worship” Mary – which is a complete and total anti-Catholic fairy tale. They aren't praying TO a statue because that would mean they believe a piece of marble was God. THAT'S idolatry. They asking Mary to pray FOR them. That's what "Pray" means - to ASK.

As for Mary being the Mother of God – she IS – unless you don’t believe that Jesus is God.
But, that’s another heresy altogether . . .

And don’t get me started on all of the Babylonian “Semiramis” manure. You need to do your homework. This garbage was started in the 19th century by an anti-Catholic named Alexander Hislop, who wrote a book called “The Two Babylons”. This was the first anti-Catholic bible. And led millions of ignoramuses to believe the same rubbish that YOU believe.

The 20th century author Ralph Woodrow was one of those who were seduced by Hislop’s lies – and he wrote his own book on the matter called, “Babylon Mystery Religion”, based on Bislop’s work. HOWEVER, when Woodrow started research of his own for a follow-up book – he discovered what a complete fraud Hislop was and that all of his accusations came out of his own head and had ZERO basis in fact. Woodrow immediately removed his book from print and now has a web page, basically apologizing for his spurious work.

Don’t believe me??
Read it for yourself, Einstein: Ralph Woodrow Evangelistic Association

Shame on you for spreading the same lies and abominations as Alexander Hislop.
Good grief - don't be so gullible . . .

You don't - and that's precisely why you don't get it.
None of them are praying to statues.

You're the ones asking a piece of rock to pray for you and you're calling me gullible?
I wish you could hear me laughing.
Hey, ummmm - I'm not the one who bought into all of that Alexander Hislop "Semiramis" nonsense just because I saw it on Youtube.
But, I'm not laughing. I always feel sorry for lost, gullible people like you . . .

No, they're asking the statues to pray for them. They're talking to false images of Mary and asking that she pray for them. They're having conversations with rocks and canvas believing the image they're addressing is actually Mary. They do the same with false images of Jesus and the Apostles.

Christ cannot be worshiped through an image.

No, they're not, Einstein.
Why do you persist in lying??

I've already explained to you that they aren't conversing with statues. A statue or a painting or a rosary - or a Bible are all prayer or worship aids, not idols. Didn't anybody ever teach you what an "idol" is?? Allow me to educate you:

An idol is something other than God that is WORSHIPED.
Catholics don't "worship" Mary or any other saint. We don't "worship" statues or pictures - any more that YOU worship the paintings and portraits you display in your home or wallet. We can ask our fellow members of the Body of Christ in Heaven to pray for us - whether there is a statue in the room or not.

Now - let's see if you have the honesty or intelligence to respond without having to resort to lying again . . .

Is it lying if I'm using your own words to back my claim?

Here's what you said.

If they're asking Mary to pray for them, they must believe that chunk of rock or that piece of canvas is able to hear them and that it is in fact Mary.

There's a word for this kind of behavior. Care to guess what it is?

Hmmmm, this doesn't seem to be sinking in.
I'll make is as simplistic as I can for a person with your limited abilities:

A person asks Mary or another saint in Heaven to pray FOR them - just as they wold ask another member of the Body of Christ here on earth to do.
Are you with me so far? Good. Let's move on . . .

WHY
ask a person in Heaven to pray for us?? Well, because they are part of the Body of Christ.
Paul describes the Body of Christ as MANY parts that ALL need each other (1 Cor. 12). Rev. 5:8 shows the elders in Heaven INTERCEDING for us by taking our prayers before God.

Still
with me, sparky?

Now - when a person prays near or before a statue of a saint - he is praying to the saint - not the slab of rock.
That would be idolatry to pray to a slab of rock because idolatry is the WORSHIP of something other than God. The statue or painting isn't even necessary to ask a saint to pray for us.

Answer me this:
When a soldier kisses his girlfriend's picture that he carries in his wallet - does that make the soldier an IDOLATOR because he kissed a graven image?

When a grieving person visits the grave site of their spouse and tells them how much they love and miss them - is THAT idolatry because they're talking to a headstone??

Let's see if you can come up with some mature answers this time . . .
