Peace-cessation of or freedom from any strife or dissension. freedom of the mind from annoyance, distraction, anxiety, an obsession, etc.; tranquillity; serenity. a state of tranquillity or serenity Have Peace in Christ!John 16:15 – "All things that the Father hath are mine" (every attribute that belongs to the Father belongs to Christ)I am starting a new series on the Seven Attributes of Christ Yashua with phase 1 being "Peace" I am asking God for guidance on this so please bear with me as I make corrections and changes as needed. So what are these 7 Attributes of Christ did I just make this stuff up well...I was convicted while reading an online query about love or lack of which a military soldier told me was the meaning of life one night. He said why? why do people kill and abuse their kids lack of love, why do people protect each other and die for someone? Love. So anyhow everything happens for a reason right? Life is a journey and all that? Well my quest for true love lead me to this website through google and ultimately to write this whole learning lesson. just like there is 7 spirits of God maybe the parallel for this is the 7 Attributes of Christ which real Christians would also demonstrate??http://www.rasalam.com/www.prayer-ministry.com/love.html That's the site that convicted with this passageRevelations 2:4, 5"Yet there is one thing wrong; you don't love me as at first! Think about those times of your first love (how different now!) and turn back to me again and work as you did before; or else I will come and remove your candlestick from its place among the churches." So this lead me to focus back on him and continue forward. When I came upon this site I was astounded at it's short dialog and strong messages during my query I was possibly revealed the Seven Attributes of Christ with this passage!Revelation 3:1 To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.So that passage inspired in me to write the 7 Attributes of Christ while I am not sure if my analysis is entirely accurate I have heard alot and read about Christ and 7 attributes stick out the most so there could be more than the ones I give but these to me stick out the most and this is my way of coming back and rekindling that first love I had which is revealing alot to me and hopefully you all as well.Do you know true peace? While I was lost I saw a sign at church which said "Know Jesus Know Peace" This message I did not easily forgot! It cuts to the deep concern of our hearts' cries to have true peace with God which only the Savior can bring wait no more! The Jews say that Jesus cannot be the acclaimed Messiah because he didn't bring a "True" age of peace, while this is half true since we still experience war and pestilence everyday he says Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. (Sword refers to justice)Basically The Savior will fulfill this in the Second Coming when world peace is established through Christ. Isaiah 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks:nation shall not life up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. So in essence he will first bring justice to the world and then an age of peace. However even though there will be an age of peace Yashua did not leave us empty he gives us peace! However what I do not get about this jewish idea is any logical conclusion would tell us no matter when the Messiah came there would have to be an end of that age and for this world that's called the "tribulation" which is also in the bible so I don't really understand how jews suppose this theory is plausible based on the constant writings of the end of the world or armedgeddon Revelation 19 Revelation 9:15-20 which the bible tells the conclusion is a new heaven and a new earth! Revelation 21:1 [ The New Jerusalem ] Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.As I read from one site which I will list at the bottom it teaches about How we were separated from fellowship with God after the fall of man Genesis 3:1-5. While this is all too true I didn't realize this until I read the site in the way it was described it brought light to what Christ brought for all Mankind, True Peace! Thank Heaven we have him. http://www.rasalam.com/www.prayer-ministry.com/peace.html
Since mankind was originally created for fellowship with God (Gen. 3:8, Gen. 5:1), this separation from Him robs us of peace. Our own sinful actions leave us "without hope and without God" (Eph. 2:12).THE PRINCE OF PEACEBut God did not abandon us as if we were strangers. Because of His great love, God sent His only Son to restore peace between Himself and man and to die on the cross for our sins, enabling all men to come to God the Father through Him (John 3:16-18).The Bible calls Jesus the "Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6). He came to earth to bridge the gap between sinful man and a Holy god. "For He Himself is our peace." The Apostle Paul said, "and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall" (Eph. 2:14 NASB).You can end your own separation from God by yielding your life to the Prince of Peace. Only then can you have perfect peace in the midst of troubled times in this world (John 14:27; Phil 4:6-7).
This amazing statement inspired me to start this series! Now what I find uncanny about this whole Messiah debate is he is The "Prince of Peace" Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, [a] Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Shouldn't that say enough? He left us with peace John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraidNow wouldn't you say that Christ brought peace? Maybe not an age of peace but a stage of peace! World peace is our ultimate goal http://www.rasalam.com/www.prayer-ministry.com/peace.html
It's a search that drives men and nations to great extremes -- the search for peace. So much of our time, energy and resources are consumed with trying to find and keep peace with family members, friends and neighbors. But often, no matter how hard we try, peace eludes us. The war in our minds and hearts rages on and on. Where can we find peace?
But obviously world peace is only possible when the new heaven and the new earth have come. The Savior warned constantly what to expect persecution, death, and end times! Signs of the End of the Age (Mark 13, Luke 21) Death- Luke 21:16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. Matthew 10:37-39 37"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; 38and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Part of the rebellious sinful nature is that religion is dumb and not fun. This is the worldview of religion which says that we don't need it around for anything good. This is why Satan has targeted religion and mass tragedies have occured in almost every religion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution
Persecution is the systematic mistreatment of an individual/group by another group. The most common forms are religious persecution, ethnic persecution, and political persecution, though there is naturally some overlap between these terms.

[edit] Persecution of ChristiansMain article: Persecution of ChristiansThe persecution of Christians is religious persecution that Christians sometimes undergo as a consequence of professing their faith, both historically and in the current era. In the two thousand years of the Christian faith, about 70 million believers have been killed for their faith, of whom 45.5 million or 65% were in the twentieth century according to "The New Persecuted" ("I Nuovi Perseguitati").[2] Currently, persecution of Christians is most severe in North Korea. [3]
What an astounding number! The list of those persecuted goes on and on, Atheists,Hindus,Jews,Christians,Muslims it should be obvious that the forces that be are out to oppose religion and it's benefits to society. Now maybe I am off my rocker but it seems as though the idea of the Jewish Messiah will come in to make every get along and end all the suffering and pain and anguish where we all are just living like Jewish Kings and Queens singing "Peace on earth and mercy mild God and sinner's reconcile" (A Christmas Carol) Nothing against Jews I have been enlighted ALOT by their observances and views on the bible however this is one view that can be very bad! We all know the sin of rejecting Yashua and that is not something I can even fathom. http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/prophchr.html
rejected by His own people, the Jews

Then He shall become a sanctuary; But to both the houses of Israel, a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over, And a snare and a trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem." (Isaiah 8:14) He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the very corner stone. (Acts 4:11)
So moving on it seemed obvious that the pharisees had such a strong opposition against him Matthew 9:34 34But the Pharisees said, "It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons." It almost sounds like they wanted to choose their acclaimed Messiah but ultimately for me they showed no peace Which all the more tells us that how much we need a savior like him.Luke 12:49Not Peace but Division "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!John 16:33 33"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the worldIn this study we should see that Christ dispelled the notion that Christ came to bring elements of world peace and justice which I think he came to bring elements of redeemption and reunionLuke 21:2828When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."Jeremiah 3:1818 In those days the house of Judah will join the house of Israel, and together they will come from a northern land to the land I gave your forefathers as an inheritance.Ezekiel 37:16-2216 "Son of man, take a stick of wood and write on it, 'Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.' Then take another stick of wood, and write on it, 'Ephraim's stick, belonging to Joseph and all the house of Israel associated with him.' 17 Join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand. 18 "When your countrymen ask you, 'Won't you tell us what you mean by this?' 19 say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am going to take the stick of Joseph—which is in Ephraim's hand—and of the Israelite tribes associated with him, and join it to Judah's stick, making them a single stick of wood, and they will become one in my hand.' 20 Hold before their eyes the sticks you have written on 21 and say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. 22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms.Whoa that's a bucket and a half notice son of man (that's Christ)now see the stick of Joseph? Joseph was the father of who? Immanuel! Stick of Judah might be descendants of Israel and Joseph sounds like Christians!(which Jews say he didn't fulfill these to be the messiah)http://www.conncoll.edu/academics/departme...aism/jesus.html
According to Judaic thinking, Jesus did not uphold the two primary elements of the Messiah and the messianic age: justice and peace
John 16:15 – "All things that the Father hath are mine" (So really every attribute that belongs to the Father belongs to Christ)it is my belief that Peace is one of the Attributes of Christ which is reflection of God's character. Do you know what all 7 are? Well you will know soon enough! The next Attribute I will be talking about is "Love"Thanks for reading I hope it has helped you in your walk with Christ and taught you new things, May God bless your life today, enrich your soul tonight, and fill your heart for the future.

I'm glad to see you are being receptive Thunder, thanks for the positive feedback. I have to admit I imagined being raptured and some form of heaven without God but with Yashua and I wasn't excited or anything so this is me changing my mind about him. I just want to teach others and equip people with the truth since it is so scarce these days. I am trying more and more to become like Christ and he was not passive or dormant he was active and persistant in keeping in obediance to Torah and had the authority to expand Torah with the right approach in Love which will be our next topic on Christ!
