http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article....RTICLE_ID=59848Above is a link to an article about a TV Show that I think is going to cause alot of problems. The Show is called Flamethrower, and its suppost to be like the Daily Show and Colbert Report. But it is also religious, and they are doing segments where they are putting the face of Muhammad on a cookie and eating them. Now I am a christian and do not hold any ties with Muhammad but I still believe this is crossing the line and is going to cause nothing but strife!

Okay I have to admit that after reading this post and then remembering the title: Prophet Cookies, I just cracked up.

That aside I don't think this is a good idea either. It most likely will cause a lot of issues. Most likely it's going to make all religions look bad, not just by their mockery, but also because of how many of the "religious" people are going to respond to this.

They will also mock Christ, and they have already. If we allow shows like this to mock other religions, even though we know the religion is false, we should not be surprised if they then begin to mock Christ by putting him on cookies. I wholly oppose false religions, but I oppose even more, the movement that allows mocking of all the religious and faithful, because it is moving toward disallowance of public displays of faith imho.

Christianity should not be associated with this show, mocking or ridiculing anyone for anyreason is unchristian behavior and that is exactly what this show is about. So like a few of yall said, not only will it offend many but it will also damage the christian name, making it harder to reach people

all I can say that has not been voiced by all you wise posters is Amos 8:11Amo 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD

I really don't like Christians who insult other peoples religions. God gave us a choice to believe whatever we want (but only by believing the Lord brings us salvation). So instead of insulting Muslims, they should be reaching out and spreading the Word of God.

I agree. There is no good reason for this type of stuff. Stick with the truth of the matter. No need to purposely insult a Muslim. That does no good. The truth is enough.
