finding a church can be very difficult... I know for myself because when I first moved into San Antonio, I didn't know where to go.I would suggest that you go before the Lord and ask Him to help you find the church that He feels that would help you in the best way possible.

when I asked God to help me find a Church, I asked that He help me find one where He thought would be best for me, not the one where I thought would be the best.the reason He led me to the church I'm at now is because he knew I would need the support of friends in the future, and the church I go to helped me in that regard yesterday.I know it's tough to not get what we want from God, but everything that He gives us is for a reason.

Is, what you are seeking, what God desires? Is it to please you or HIM?
It is to please Him for sure!! But when you interpret his Word differently than the pastor of the church, makes for strange feelings, I study ( at home) and I use the Companion Bible and Strong's concordance, so I canunderstand the english better and I have not found a church around northern CA yet, that does. But I can praise Him at home, but I do like the fellowship with the folks at this church.

Which do you think would be more pleasing to God? going to church which He desires, or staying at home?Isaiah 14:2424 The LORD Almighty has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.Romans 12:4,54Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,5so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.Ephesians 5:2323For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
