The Church has survived worse accusers than you over the centuries, and will continue to survive. You are a clanging symbol, a hollow drum, that has no effect on alleviating human misery. Just rotten fruit of bitterness and despair.
Your insane hate is cluttering up my screen space.

Can you point to what you think is insane hate? That is some very strong words. Remember kepha, God is not a respecter of persons. If you consider a man's fragile feelings then you will compromise the truth, plain and simple.

I was curious, can you tell me if the second vatican council is consistent with all the catholic dogmas of the catholic church? Wasn't it a complete departure, a revolution from the consistent teachings of the catholic church?

I think the Pope doesn't actually mean these things, I reckon he just has his slips up when he speaks in another language, it would be like any of us making a mistake when speaking in a foreign language, and we gotta remember to he is an old guy, in my opinion he has been a pretty good pope.

So let's turn the page to grace. ;)

Amen, well said. I never thought of those things. All of us are far to quick to judge.

You suffer from indifferentism and apathy. Just explain away what is incredibly obvious, La, La, La. You treat him like an idiot. He knows what he is doing and what he is saying. He is a manifest heretic.

I thought you were a Catholic...you seem very judgemental and harsh.
Don't forget Jesus said- "With whatever measure we use to measure other people, we will be measured by that same measure."
The harsher we judge others, the harsher we will be judged ourselves.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 But prove all things; hold fast that which is good. From all appearance of evil refrain yourselves.

There is so much indifferentism [lukewarm] out there and Jesus talks about this. Just about no one wants to make a real effort to know the truth. The only thing people are interested in is the fluff, holding hands, making nice etc. My intention is never to be mean but just to speak plainly, not considering the respect of the person. If I did that then the truth would be compromised. Actually, in light of the eternity of hell and its unimaginable torments, it is very uncharitable, not to be direct and just say the truth plainly, without regarding the respect of the person.

Apocalypse 3:16 But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, nor hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth.

I guess we are all different...we have a few on here who feel like they are a bit more truthful that others...because they feel they don't have to be gracious when they post, but just "say it like it is".... :(
I have two natural brothers. The eldest is soft in speech and easy to discuss things with...my younger brother is a "I say it like it is, like it or lump it" kind of person. ( and proud of it!) He's been a bully since he was 12 years old.
Guess which one on my two brothers has his house full of people dropping in for a chat and conversation? He has the opportunity to sow seeds into hearts.
Even the wife of my "I just tell 'em" brother, has a hard time living with his dark heavy-handed attitude. ( he creates a miserable atmosphere around himself)

Everyone has a heart...and hearts are tender things...even people who attempt to show just how tough they are. ( I am very sad for my younger brother..even my sister in law is scared of him. How lonely that must be for him)

If we want people to listen to us and respect our opinions, work on building relationships. People are much more likely to take the time to listen if they respect you on a personal level.

Just saying.

I understand what you are saying but many people are obstinate in there own ways, which equates to destruction. Quite often, it is because of pride, that many people, reject the plainly told truth of God.

Truth be told, Jesus said don't expect to make many friends, if you follow Me.

Acts 10:34 And Peter opening his mouth, said: In very deed I perceive, that God is not a respecter of persons."

And I would say the soft spoken brother having people come to talk, it matters as to the content of the chat, as you say. In very short time a person can tell if they are of good will or not i.e. wanting to know the truth and able to hear it. Jesus did say don't spend to much time on the heathens.

Matthew 18:14-17 Even so it is not the will of your Father, who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. But if thy brother shall offend against thee, go, and rebuke him between thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou shalt gain thy brother. And if he will not hear thee, take with thee one or two more: that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may stand. And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.

Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words: going forth out of that house or city shake off the dust from your feet.

Jesus' church is a society of believers, the buildings are the place of worship.

2 John 1:2 For the sake of the truth which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever."

Jesus gave His Church SUPREME AUTHORITY on earth.
Ignorant sede vacantists like YOU are an embarrassment to the Body of Christ . . .

Matt 16:16-19
And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.
I will give YOU the keys to the kingdom of heaven. WHATEVER YOU bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and WHATEVER YOU loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Matt. 18:18
Amen, I say to you, whatever YOU bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever YOU loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

John 16:12-15
“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.
But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to ALL truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to YOU the things that are coming.
He will glorify me, because he will TAKE from what is MINE and declare it to YOU.
Everything that the Father has is MINE; for this reason I told you that he will TAKE from what is MINE and declare it to YOU.

John 20:21-23
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with YOU. As the Father has sent me, so I send YOU.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins YOU FORGIVE are forgiven them, and whose sins YOU RETAIN are retained.”

Luke 10:16
Whoever listens to YOU listens to ME. Whoever rejects YOU rejects ME. And whoever rejects ME rejects the ONE who sent ME."

Ok, Hotshot, lets get into it. Do you agree that Isaias 22:20-22 is the foreshadow or prototype of Matthew 16:16-19? And that the promise of succession began with Abraham [Gen. 17:6]?

Isaias 22:20-22
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliacim the son of Helcias, And I will clothe him with thy robe, and will strengthen him with thy girdle, and will give thy power into his hand: and he shall be as a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Juda. And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder: and he shall open, and none shall shut: and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Matthew 16:16-19 Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answering, said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven.

key of the house of David upon his shoulder: and he shall open, and none shall shut: and he shall shut, and none shall open.

keys of the kingdom of heaven
. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven
.

Even Abraham and Jacob, are called a rock and or a stone, as leader of the old testament church. And their names were also changed just like Simon bar-jona to Peter.

Isaias 51:1-2[1] Give ear to me, you that follow that which is just, and you that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence you are hewn, and to the hole of the pit from which you are dug out. [2] Look unto Abraham your father, and to Sara that bore you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and multiplied him.

Genesis 49:24 His bow rested upon the strong, and the bands of his arms and his hands were loosed, by the hands of the mighty one of Jacob: thence he came forth a pastor, the stone of Israel.

Genesis 17:5 Neither shall thy name be called any more Abram: but thou shalt be called Abraham: because I have made thee a father of many nations."

Genesis 35:10 Saying: Thou shalt not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name. And he called him Israel.

Do you agree to what is cited?

I ALWAYS agree with Scripture.
I just don't usually agree with your +perversion of it.

I agree with Apostolic Succession because the Scriptures are clear about it (Acts 1:15-26).
I also agree that Peter's Primacy and succession were foretold in the OT.

However - I reject YOUR opinion that there is no Pope because you and other radical Traditionalists lack the faith to believe in Jesus' promise that the gates of Hell wouldn't prevail against His Church (Matt. 16:18).

It seems that you have a hard time staying on point. I specifically asked pertaining to what I cited, does Isaias 22:20-22 along with the other OT cites, foreshadow Matthew 16:16-19. This is a yes or no answer, don't be afraid.

Your quote below, is what I want to get into. And it is all biblical.

What part of my response do you have difficulty understanding??

Sooooo - get into it then. What's stopping you??
I'd be more than happy to destroy your arguments in front of everyone . . .
