Maybe you'll learn this some day about us, but around here we like to study the Bible and understand that sometimes there are things going on that we don't fully understand -- yet reasonable clues are presented for those who dig a little deeper and maybe run beyond a single verse or two to explain everything. Some aren't comfortable with that, and no big deal as Cain's wife is not a salvation issue, but it's just something worth knowing and understanding. If you one spends life running around muttering the same old verses every time something a little deeper comes up, they'll miss out. And ultimately, that loss will hurt them -- it's no skin off my nose. All I can do is get folks to look. You can always lead a horse to water, but I can't make him drink. That's God's work.If that's an issue for you, you're probably a member of the wrong community.

I checked out the link and it is wrong and not even close to a better answer. Which do you study and believe, man's word or God's Word? There is clearly a difference in the Hebrew text translated, "man" Gen.1:26 ( אדם ) and "man" Gen.2:7 ( את־האדם )Ask a Biblical scholar one familiar with the manuscripts and they will confirm the truth.
Wow how did I miss this thread for so longI never knew that. There is no more proof that Cain married this other "women " of creation, than if he married his sister.and, correct me if I'm wrong, there is probably know way to be certain that this difference in text means the creation of another human being. but stillI'm going to be viewing the first couple of chapters of genesis differently from now on. Learn something new here every week. You guys are awesome!!

Let's look at this whole bloodline thing, because that seems to be behind it, or at least part of it.We read:-" for Adam there was not found an help meet for him." (Gen.2:20)If pre-adamic men and women existed, God didn't deem those women suitable for Adam, even though they were made in God's image and God called them good, agreed?

Could it be that when he created mankind -Adam was both male and female. Because it says that Eve was taken out of Adam?

correct Tallman and as we know on this subject we are forced to draw some conclusions but it seems to me the conclusions we draw must be based in the facts we do know and the understanding we have of Gods nature. Not in words of men my take on this is God used a Word here to give us the clue to the answer to your question one of the meanings of Adam is ruddy ..as in Ruddy complected (to show blood in the face in the Hebrew this means to blush show red in the cheeks ... This is consistent with the complexion color of the Hebrew race ..... God was very clear that he was very pleased with all the races .. And he was also clear that kind after kind was the law .. If we assume that Adam was the first of the Ruddy complected race then it would have been against the kind after kind law to mix him with another of the races so he would have had no mate of his own race... Thus Eve was necessary ... God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow ..... Dont anyone make a race thing out of this God judges us by our hearts not our skin color but all the races had to be created the fact Adam was of a ruddy lighter skin doesnt make that color race any better or different than anyone else it was just what God say is the color he chose.. Adam would have been who he was reguardless of what color God chose to make his flesh it wasnt his color that made him the choice of seed of the bloodline

Not in words of men my take on this is God used a Word here to give us the clue to the answer to your question one of the meanings of Adam is ruddy
Adam, the Hebrew word for man, like Adamah the hebrew word for ground (from which Adam was made) are both cognate to adom, meaning red, and dam meaning blood.Virgin earth is red because it is dead plant material that turns it brown. That's why Mars is the red planet, no life has died there. The original earth of this planet would also have been red.Red blood cells are coloured by haemoglobin which contain iron, like the iron oxide that colours earth.Lev. 17:11: "the life of the flesh is in the blood", regardless of the amount of melanin in the skin causing tan, blood is always red.God "hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth" (Acts 17:26).Eskimos and other peoples also have rosy skin.To insist that Adam was white is not proven by the name "Adam" as you suggest.(Christina;68678)
.. And he was also clear that kind after kind was the law ..
Do you believe that different races are different kinds?Kinds are unable to interbreed and produce living offspring, so by this criteria, humans of whatever skin colour are the same kind.(Christina;68678)
If we assume that Adam was the first of the Ruddy complected race then it would have been against the kind after kind law to mix him with another of the races so he would have had no mate of his own race... Thus Eve was necessary ... God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow .....
Yes, and Moses married an Ethiopian, Joseph married an Egyptian.Do you believe Adam was pure Adamic race?We know from Luke 3's genealogy that Jesus was descended from Adam through Seth and Enos:-Lu:3:38: Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam,Now look:-Ge:4:26: And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: You have laboured the point that there ios not a single word about Adam and Eve having daughters, so, where did Seth get his wife?Either Adam's line, in which case you accept that daughters were being born and not mentioned, in which case this is where Cain could have got his wife, or, you believe Jesus is mixed race.Which is it?

I believe in the simplicity of Gods Word that it is exactly as it is written only men make it complicateed because they came up with a wrong conclusion before knowlege had increased it is written plain enough for us to get the gist of what happened its only when we try to make it fit our preconcieved notions men put in our heads we get confused ... You cant make Gods Word fit mens ideas .. God says It very simple I created them Male and female and commanded them to replenish the earth He didnt create one set of fish or one set of birds and tell them replish the earth it would have been impossable and taken billions of years not thousands .. He simply created all the races of men and gave them a command then he restedthen he needed a farmer/planter (in the spiritual sense a planter of the seedline) So he made Adam and put him away in a garden did he give Adam something the others didnt have ? I do not know we are not told ..the only clue we have is that he was ruddy of complexion that may or may not mean anything but if God was creating the races he had to create a white race as well as all the others ..if you are creating a black race you need two black people one male and one female you dont create a black race by mixing one black person and one white person ... All Im saying is if Adam was the first ruddy complected person he would need a ruddy complected female to create the race... Grow up get out of the politcally correct frame of mind ... The hebrews are of Ruddy/lighter compexion thats a fact and there is a straight line from Adam to Christ its the blood we are conerned here not the skin I was simply pointing out what the Hebrew leads us to believe that in making the race Adam was he needed a female of the same race .. thats biology All l we know is that Adam was the first in the bloodline of whom Christ would come God didnt start the World on incest he never says he does it is against his laws morally and in nature God does not change he is the same he never says he changes the laws later that he started the World with a sin but it wasnt a sin then he changed and made it a sin ... Thats all against the nature of God and is never written ... Its mens words alone What would God have to do to make this true 1. he would have had to change by: A. changing a sinb. changing the law of nature (as we know incest results in mental and physical degration)c.He banned Cain from the land of Eden (and then what welcomed him back to meet and marry a sister?)2. God was such a poor planner he wanted the World populated but then gave no one for Adam and Eve children to marry would be God that imperfect ?

You are very correct in your observation LGF we are not told either one but we have been given clues to which it is and there are no clues in scripture that Cain married his sister the only book that says that was banned from the bible ..I believe because of this very forgery. We would never even have this sister believe if not for the banned book and the Babylonian writtings which by the way used the names of Pagon gods not Cain and Able in fact I believe it was Cain himself that purpetrated this lie its of pagon origin not scripture it Never was taught by God Word ...So we left to follow what clues we have and understand what the Nature of God is ...And Gods Says he never changes. And the only way to make the sister wife true we have to assume GOD CHANGES so the very basis of the theory is flawed ... QUESTION FOR ALL TO CONSIDER HERE: If God changed the incest Law ..thats is he hadnt given it yet as some claim ...Then wouldnt you have to follow the same train of thought with MURDER?Why was Murder a sin if God havent given it yet?? You can not pick and choose here either God changes or he does not The laws were in effect from the beginning or they were not you can not decide one or two laws were in effect but others were not

Do you believe that different races are different kinds?Kinds are unable to interbreed and produce living offspring, so by this criteria, humans of whatever skin colour are the same kind.
It's not about Race - God chose Adam for a reason to be the first of the eth-ha-adam. For what specific reason? I know no more than this:Ephesians 1:11
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
That being said -- God created man ('adam, Genesis 1) and then he created Adam with a very specific purpose that would ultimately be manifest in the Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus). As far as the Luke 3 genealogy, there's a very serious problem with this being Christ's as well -- for either Christ is the Son of God conceived of the Holy Spirit or he is not. This line is the line of Joseph, as the chapter tells us:Luke 3:23
And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,
We know who he was the Father in every sense of the word. It was not Joseph. As for the Moses debacle - he later married a Midianite. This is in the sense that a person from my home state could move to Texas and become a Texan but ultimately have been a South Carolinian. Him having another wife would not have 'defiled' the issue, but even then I'd point out that what Ethiopian really means is a whole other study, because it's clearly a reference to the Cush which changed a bit in meaning (and you'll see if you do a study on it). I think the so-called Ethiopian (Cushite) and the Midianite are all the same and frankly I think she was of Israelite blood, for we know with the Exodus figures that there were millions of Israelites that came through the Exodus itself. As for Joseph, he was bestowed an Egyptian name (Genesis 41:45), so his wife having one would not necessarily make her Egyptian (see historically the Hyksos).
Either Adam's line, in which case you accept that daughters were being born and not mentioned, in which case this is where Cain could have got his wife, or, you believe Jesus is mixed race.
Simple answer, the other eth-ha-adam spoken of in Genesis 6:Genesis 6:2
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
The very specific point here being that there was a race of people that had no reason not to know God. It started with the pollution of Cain, but even Enosh's name provides some very important clues to the whole matter. His name roughly means frail or weak. On top of this, the Hebrew that is rendered man (somewhat inaccurately in the KJV) is chalal which has a very negative meaning.

. . .God created man ('adam, Genesis 1) and then he created Adam
God's stated purpose of creating Adam was that there was not a man to till the garden.Genesis 5 further identifies Adam as the man created in Gen.1.Gen.1 gives the broad picture of creation, chapter 2 details God's dealings with man. Also, in Romans 5:12 we read that sin entered the world through Adam, and death through sin . .. so do you believe that pre-adamic people didn't sin?(Denver;68736)
. . . As far as the Luke 3 genealogy, . . .
Mary was also from Enoch as she was from Abraham who was descended from Enoch via Noah. (Matt.1 genealogy)

Matthew has Joseph's genealogy to show that he was in the line of David to fulfill Scripture. He needed to go to Bethlehem to be taxed. Luke is Mary's genealogy.

Correct Tallman there was no sin until the serpent (Satan) came into the garden he did not care about the races ..He knew enough to know Christ was his downfall it was the bloodline he was determined to destroy ...So that Christ could not be born ... We know he would fail but he did not stop trying ... And he wont till he destroyed forever ...

I have just been reading about Cain and Abel. Can anyone explain please where Cain,s wife came from? and alsoif god marked Cain so no one would kill him, who was going to kill him, as he had just Killed Abel and there was only Adam and Eve and himself left.I expect this topic has been disgust many times before. Many thanks.Roger
Cain was cast out of Eden and migrated east to the land of Nod. The fact that there were other lands outside of Eden might suggest (does suggest) that there were other peoples outside of Eden. Cain took a wife from that region. Cain and his posterity were to play an important role as antagonists towards the children of Israel; therefore, it was important that Cain remain alive and safe from harm. Read the parable of the wheat and the tares. The tares were to remain side by side with the wheat until the end. Cain and his posterity are the tares. They will be found today in the land called Israel (not to be confused with biblical Israel). They will be found in the entertainment industry, banking industry, in law firms, and in various places of political, economic, or mind control. They have been and are at enmity with God's chosen people (see Genesis 3:15). The name "Kenite" in the Old Testament means "the sons of Cain." The Kenites are synonymous with today's Khazars. The most modern term for Khazar is Israeli.

She has to be either Cain's sister or niece. Eve is named the "mother of all living" so either Seth has a daughter, or Abel, and Cain marries that woman, or Cain marries another of Adam's daughters. It wasn't incest for the simple reason that such relationships had not yet been forbidden as they later were in the law. Abraham, as you may recall is married to his half sister.

Well if you had read the entire thread you would have learned none of what you say is true nor is it the scriptures its a sumerian babylonian Pagan belief and is not written ... secondly again if you read the thread you will see God never changes he did not the law on incest anymore than he did on murder you are taking us back to things already discussed.....you are repeating the same old lies of men we are saying isnt written... never was

Bull. That clearly goes against God's Words. You are telling me that God who has forbid Cain to return to Adam & Eve... to allow Cain go back to Adam & Eve just to marry his sister... So God can indeed lie.

So therefore God can also change his mind.Whatever you want to believe... Your words are nothing but a lie.

This is an interesting question....How did sin pass to those that were not of Adam?
