From the Satan, and fallen Angels mating with daughters of men it was the reason for the flood. If you will read Gen 6 it tells you and also after that after the Flood there was another influx of fallen Angels. There was no sin till Satan came into the garden. http://www.christianityboard.com/index.php...amp;hl=nephilim
o.k. it says that sin entered by Adam...some here teach that Adam was not the only man created at that time, right? That cain got his wife by other created people. So now you are saying that the people that cains wife came from sin entered through them too? Where is the scripture to show that?

You are correct Christina. There was no sin until Adam and Eve in the garden convinced by Satan. There was 6th day people existed in Genesis 1:26-28, 31. Adam was locked alone in the Garden of Eden. Genesis 2:18 as the 6th day people was never in the Garden of Eden. Satan came in Genesis 3:1. Sn came in Genesis 3:6-7 by Eve then Adam.

No sweetpea....the Bible is NOT a hoax. It is full of mystery...mysteries that are opened to us as we study, as the Spirit reveals.

In the case of Cain and his wife, she was from one of the races, nations, surrounding them. What I found to be most interesting is......

Genesis 4:17 And Cain knew his wife: and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

Enoch means "dedicated." This city is dedicated to their father Cain and...to his father Satan. This city he builded is the beginning of Babylon, the great city, the city "where also our Lord was crucified." [Rev.11:8]

The canon of the Ethiopic Bible differs both in the Old and New Testament from that of any other churches. As a whole, books written in the Geez language and on parchment are numerous. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church has 46 books of the Old Testament and 35 books of the New Testament that will bring the total of canonized books of the Bible to 81.So will find that answer form The Book of JubileesCain and Abel (iv. 1-12; cf. Gen. iv.).IV. And in the third week in the second jubilee 64-70 A.M. she gave birth to Cain, and in the fourth she gave birth 71-77 A.M. to Abel, and in the fifth she gave birth to her daughter 78-84 A.M. ’Âwân. 3 2. And in the first (year) of the third jubilee, 99-105 A.M. Cain slew Abel because (God) accepted the sacrifice of Abel, and did not accept the offering of Cain. 3. And he slew him in the field: and his blood cried from the ground to heaven, complaining because he had slain him. 4 4. And the Lord reproved Cain because of Abel, because he had slain him, and he made him a fugitive on the earth because of the blood of his brother, and he cursed him upon the earth. 55. And on this account it is written on the heavenly tables, "Cursed is he who smiteth his neighbour treacherously, and let all who have seen and heard say, So be it; and the man who hath seen and not declared (it), let him be accursed as the other." 6. And for this reason we announce when we come before the Lord our God all the sin which is committed in heaven and on earth, and in light and in darkness, and everywhere. 7. And Adam and his wife mourned for Abel four weeks of years, and in the fourth year (99-127) 130 A.M. of the fifth week they became joyful, and Adam knewp. 52his wife again, and she bare him a son, and he 1 called his name Seth; for he said "God hath raised up a second seed unto us on the earth instead of Abel; for Cain slew him." 2 8. And in the sixth week he 134-140 A.M. begat his daughter ’Azûrâ. 9. And Cain took ’Âwân his sister to be his wife and she bare him Enoch 3 at190-196 A.M. the close of the fourth jubilee. And in the first year of the first week of the fifth jubilee, houses were built 197 A.M. on the earth, and Cain built a city, and called its name after the name of his son Enoch. 10. And Adam knew Eve his wife and she bare yet nine sons. 4 225-231 A.M. 11. And in the fifth week of the fifth jubilee Seth took ’Azûrâ his sister to be his wife, and in the fourth235 A.M. (year of the sixth week) she bare him Enos. 5 12. He 6 began to call on the name of the Lord on the earth.

Genesis 3:15 does not distinguish between the seed of Satan and Adam.
It distinguishes between the seed of Satan and Eve.

Cain was the offspring of Eve.
So was Able and Seth.

All three were her seed.

Either Seth married his own sister, or he married one of your so called “6th day people”.

If he married a 6th day woman, then the bloodline of Christ was mixed from the beginning.
If he married a sister, then he committed incest.

Is the "seed" from the woman?

Where it is written.....

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel."

....it tells us Satan has a seed for he is the "thy seed." Where we see "her Seed," knowing women don't have seed, we realize that it speaks of Christ from Mary, showing that Joseph is not the father of her Seed.

You have a good point in asking about the wife of Seth. Consider that if she wasn't a sister, wasn't of a different race, then could there have been more folks like Adam? Adam was the first of his kind. Was he the only one in the garden?

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

They hid "amongst the trees." What do those trees symbolize?

Isaiah 55:12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

As incest is forbidden. As He kept races separate. As He wants us to multiple....would He not have created mates for this family?

Depends on what you think the real message of "seed" is.
If it means "offspring", then yes, the woman can have seed/offspring.
In fact, it is only the woman who can bear offspring.

My opinion is that the real message of the two different "seed" is not using a biological description to make a point, but an agricultural description to make a point.

It was the fruit of the tree that caused death, not the fruit of the serpent.
The fruit of the tree is what has seed in it.

The Tree of Life was not off limits to Adam & Eve. It was their tree, their fruit, and their seed.
The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was off limits and was not their tree, their fruit, and their seed.
There was nothing specified that was off limits of the serpent, just the fruit of the tree.

We have the parable of the sower in which an interesting statement is made.

Mark 4
(13) And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

This statement is only said of this particular parable.
I think it establishes the true message of the "seed".

They partook of a "seed" that was not theirs.
The seed of the woman would be her seed from the Tree of Life; not the seed of the Tree of Knowledge.

I believe it can be established that the Tree of Life was the word of God, and the Tree of Knowledge was a distorted and corrupted word.

In the end, we have the Tree of Life --- the word of God that endures forever.
But the Tree of Knowledge is no longer there because it is not the word of God and will not endure forever.

Matthew 15
(13) But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

It is my opinion that to focus on the biological aspect is missing the true message.
Even of Cain it was said that he could be accepted

Genesis 4
(7) If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

So, right from the beginning we learn that the biological aspect was not the determining factor for one to be accepted.
And the New Testament confirms this when it says that there is neither Jew or Gentile, male or female in the body of WHAT - Christ, the Word of God (John 1:1).

The Greek word is "sperma". Does that clear it up for you? Did Eve have those?

Actually, it does clear it up.
Thanks.

In the Greek language, sperma can refer to the male reproductive cells OR plant seeds.
The same is true for the Hebrew word zera‛ (which was translated into the Greek word sperma).

And as we all know, women do not have male reproductive cells. So, "her seed" could not possibly be speaking in biological terms. That leaves plant seed.
Further proof that her "seed" is speaking in agricultural terms and not biological terms.

For some who would like to look into things on a more historical view point, do some research on Genies or the Djinn. Also look into Sargon. And if your still in the wondering mode, consider the giants of the bible, basically cousins of cain in a sense.

Hi Irish,

I've often wondered....was Cain a giant? Offspring of fallen angel and human???

I saw a Discovery program several years ago in which an archaologist discovered a cave. Way up high was the emblem of a scorpion...Sargon was the Scorpion King. How did the glyph get so high on the wall and why put it there if no one could see it?

There is also an ancient shard depicting Sargon and some men. He is ENORMOUS compared to the others. On the top of the shard is a scorpion...his sign. Could he be Cain or a son of Cain?

Yea he was a big one, probably didn't have much of a problem killing Abel. That mix of strange flesh must have affected the pituitary gland in these hybrids. Apparently the Egyptians must have seen the exit of some of these sons on there way out.

I still say you can't get around the fact that Eve is named the mother of all living. Therefore there are no other humans that didn't come from Eve. Cain marries his sister, or the daughter of one of his immediate siblings. I'd make allowance for the idea that Cain could have married several generations down from the immediate generation after Adam, but he marries into his own family line, and someone marries their sister.

Some call this incest, but the practice was not forbidden until later generations, so it was no sin at all.
