I forgot to say that I AM conservative and that I only post what I agree with.

Brainwashing for me ended a really long time ago...
Alas, even a 43-year old spring chicken such as myself can feel nostalgia for the good old days in which conservatives read conservative newspapers and voted for conservative politicians rather than for reality-TV-stars and Nazi-sympathizers.

Trump was a lot more before he ever did that dumb program.
So people of conservative ideas are Nazis?
Are you a stalinist? Over 20 million dead.
Choose your poison carefully.

Right, Trump inherited a lot of money from his Daddy and some say he would be a lot richer now had he just invested it in index funds. Instead he invested in beauty pageants, casinos and three marriages – in true spirit of conservative family values, eh?

Far be it from me to say conservatives are Nazis. There are many conservatives who’ve still got moral integrity: They’d never allow the KKK to endorse them and would never spread falsehoods to incite hatred against ethnic and religious minorities. And speaking of Stalinists: also these conservatives would want to thoroughly investigate the danger of former KGB-agent Putin meddling with Western elections.

oh, horse puckey, get off this "keep it perfectly or throw it away entirely" kick imo. The universe runs on laws; keep them, or die. Confess to not keeping one and rebound, and live
You keep the law, that you can argue out wit God, in your righteousness that you earned by keeping "the Law' as I said before you sound just like a lawyer.

This one

Luk_11:46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

The law is teh flesh, with Jesus its all by teh Spirit

Well, you say the law is the flesh, yet Paul says the law is of the spirit in Romans 7. Jesus came to fulfill the law, so to say that the law is of the flesh makes no sense, knowing that "the flesh profits nothing".

and of course the US is the one keeping those versions of Sharia rolling, The Saudis were chosen by US, the Shah was installed by US, and we are responsible for the condition of the mideast today. Took a lot of research to even find Wahhabis, i guess

the burdens that were grievous were proved to be "not law" however, so even law evolves, #1, and 2 Christ made plain, in many places, Paul too, that not following the law was not an option, every jot and tittle remains, and you are just still toggling around the difference in "keep the law" v "under the law" imo

ha like we haven't been interfering in democratically elected governments since forever lol, i could easily outline the progression in the mideast, from installing depraved Shahs in Iran, to choosing the desert tribe best suited to an agenda and elevating them over every other, lol. The Sauds could easily have been the Al-Nurs, or any other tribe that we chose. IS was constructed the same way, it isn't even denied by anyone serious any more, as if their weapons did not give them away anyway. Or their lack of interest in Israel, the state. Or...nevermind, gotta run! later

so you say, but Law is "holy" in the Book, and even the Book is not, cannot be quoted as being "holy."

but i do agree with you, yes. however going by "morals" is widely disputed by many "believers" right

That's the funniest thing I've heard all year !

That the newspapers lie seems to be Trump’s default defense whenever he is faced with uncomfortable truths and I see you swallowed it hook line and sinker.

Of course it is a matter of personal opinion whether one thinks there are still conservatives with moral integrity (my prayers go out to John McCain). But other than that everything I’ve written in my post is demonstrably and objectively true: Trump did invest in beauty pageants and casinos and Melania is wife Nr. 3.

As for the point that seems to bother you most: maybe you just didn’t read it with care. Of course there are people who say Trump would be richer now had he just invested his Daddy’s money in index funds (What's More Lucrative: "The Apprentice" or the S&P 500?) Even if Trump had released his tax returns I would not be in the position to say whether these people are right or wrong, because I’m neither an accountant nor an investment banker. And not being from that particular strain of Protestantism that seems to judge a person’s worth by the amount of money that person made I’m actually not that bothered by the question in the first place.

Contrary to what you may think I’m not a very political person, in that I’m not a member of any particular Party and do not intend to ever join one. But I do follow Karl Barth’s advice: “Take your Bible and take your newspaper, and read both. But interpret newspapers from your Bible.” So when I read in the newspapers that Trump wants more immigrants from Norway and less from (expletive) countries in Africa I remember Bible passages such as James 2 and know what to make of this President. Not sure whether McCain had the same Biblical passage in mind but He arrived at similar conclusions; John McCain Decries Donald Trump's 'Shithole' Comment

Whats wrong with wanting immigrants from Norway or other European nations rather than from some third world countries?

Nothing. Unless you are a racist, such as yourself.

Just because you don't belong to a political party does not mean you're not political.

This is all you've spoken about since you've been here.
Next time you write, make it be about Jesus, the bible, God, Spirituality.

Let's see how you fare.

I LOVE TRUMP.
Yeah. I've been brainwashed. I fell hook, line and sinker.
It must be that hairstyle of his.

OR

It might be because I'm a New Yorker and really know him and how he works.

I love our new President.
He'll do more for Christians than any "Christian" candidate ever could.

Maybe he'll get illegals from entering the country too.
If you like them so much, you could invite them into your home.
Do you realize that the U.S. is like a big home?

Oh. And if you get any tax relief, please send it back to the IRS.
That would be intellectually honest of you. And I sure hope you don't tell me he's helping the rich like him. That's older than the Pania, and the Pania is a really old mountain here.

Have a nice evening.

Let's see how you fare.
Oh my!

Well, I did decide to revisit this forum because I felt spiritually touched by the Pope’s Christmas Sermon, ya know the one in which he said that “see Jesus in the faces of Syrian children” (Pope Francis’s Urbi et Orbi 2017 Christmas message: full text | CatholicHerald.co.uk) Seeing that you seem to think that “goodie” is an insult, “love” is to e belittled and laying down one’s life for humanity is a folly, I’m not surprised you don’t share that spirituality . If you’ve missed out on the multiple Biblical references I’ve given for it, let’s spell some out: Amos 5:14; Micah 6:8; Romans 12:20-21, John 15, 1 Corinthians 13, Matthew 5:46-48; Matthew 25:31-46, Luke 9:21-27, 1 Corinthians 1:23 …

As for why I engaged in conversation with you here: concern for the 8th commandment, which my denomination’s catechism explains like this:

“The Eighth Commandment
You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not tell lies about our neighbor, betray him, slander him, or hurt his reputation, but defend him, speak well of him, and explain everything in the kindest way. “ Luther’s Small Catechism by Dr. Martin Luther

A respectable response to my questions concerning “No-Go-Areas” in London, would have been: “Oh my gosh, can’t name a single one, maybe I fell for a falsehood and should not continue spreading it”. Instead you tried to evade the question and kept on slandering Muslim immigrants. Having read 2 Tim. 3-4 maybe I should not be surprised.

I LOVE TRUMP.
Yeah. I've been brainwashed. I fell hook, line and sinker.

OR

It might be because I'm a New Yorker and really know him and how he works.

I love our new President.
He'll do more for Christians than any "Christian" candidate ever could.
What will he do for Christians? Allowing the display of the 10 commandments in front of secular courthouses while openly showing that he himself does not keep any of them?

Maybe he'll get illegals from entering the country too.
If you like them so much, you could invite them into your home.
Do you realize that the U.S. is like a big home?

I realize that the US is a country whose population consists almost entirely of immigrants and their descendants. When did your ancestors come to the US? What poverty and persecution did they flee? Remember what’s written on the statue of liberty and all the Biblical verses that command to show hospitality to foreigners, “for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt.”? So why would you not want to invite guys such as Rómulo Avelica-González (Torn apart: the American families hit by Trump's immigration crackdown) to your home? Because of your great conservative family values or because Trump told you that Mexican immigrants are rapists?

Oh. And if you get any tax relief, please send it back to the IRS.
That would be intellectually honest of you
Should I ever run for an office for which it is customary to publish one’s tax returns, I shall happily do so. Nothing to hide.

And I sure hope you don't tell me he's helping the rich like him. That's older than the Pania, and the Pania is a really old mountain here.
Is it? The Bible – which frequently tells us to care for the poor - is really old, too, and yet it’s still true, isn’t it? But it seems you don’t love Trump because of a Biblically informed Christian conscience, but in spite of it. So I’m probably wasting my breath here.

I don't fall for false testimony.
I don't listen to ONE news station or ONE person.
My parents wanted to integrate into the U.S. population.
They left their Italian roots behind, as much as is possible. Not 100%.
I don't care about YOUR tax returns. I care about MINE.
No reason for me to see Trump's. I doubt I'd even understand his return. Obama posted his and he was a disaster. So what good did it do?.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you dislike me?
Are we sisters in Christ?
