It saddens me, how we are preached to love each other, forgive and forget and even pastors can't get along with each other. They establish another church and another church. We should be tithing... to what... to pay these church buildings to hire another building etc. Like there isn't more important causes to give money to. I understand, how many people are put off by churches. And many preachers don't walk they talk. I like to be positive, but that's just the fact today. I still like to fellowship with other christians in my community, but this thing frustrates me. I need the Holy Spirit guidance.

Interesting to note that in the first gatherings of the faithfull the only time a Pastor taught was when the Apostle, Prophet and Teacher where out of town! ( 1 Corinthians 12:28). Order, not in elevation but function. Disorder prevails now but not everywhere or always.

There are no denominations, were just foolish enough to think there are.Its sad, you see the reason for the disagreement in this very forum. We tend to criticize, and persecute, and ridicule other believes rather than trying to understand them, and respect them. There is only one truth. But face it we don't have divine wisdom, and we can very easily interpret the bible wrong. And it comes to a point where there are so many interpretations I don't know which ones right. But one things for sure. I know they all teach our salvation and therefore all are respectable. So here is my call to you, lets not make the christian church a church of catholics, and lutherans, and penticostals, and baptists, and methodist, and sda's and unorthodox christians, and orthodox christians, and presbyterians. No lets stop disgracing ourselves and make the christian church what its supposed to be. A church of christians.

Yeah, we can't change the whole world, but we can change our attitude and how we react to things. Unity in Jesus Christ, that's what counts at the end.

The reason that what professes to be "Christianity" today is divided into hundreds of contradicting religions is that the heart of man is wicked and would rather choose a religion that fits himself rather than coming to know Christ on His terms. People band together in a mob mentality to protect their own false doctrines and drive away anyone who tries to tell them the truth in order to maintain the false religion that makes them comfortable. Then they all gather together and repeat the same out of context verses that defend their position and avoid the ones that contradict it, and tell one another how right they all are and how they are the most faithful "christians."The Bible on the other hand says that the true "church" or ekklesia in Greek is those who He has called out of the world and onto Himself. The word “ekklesia” comes from two Greek words: Ek means out and Kaleo means call, and this is the verb form. When we put the two together and write the noun form of it, it is Ekklesia and means "called out ones." We are told in scripture that the true body of Christ is one in unity without divisions, so it is clear that these denominations are not called by Him. These are man made institutions designed to accomodate man and illustrate our refusal to come to Christ on His terms and subject ourselves to His Lordship. The true called ones of Him therefore do not associate with such religions.1 Corinthians 12:12,20,25 For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. But now there are many members, but one body. So that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.SealedEternal

I find that even preachers teach same way they just don't get along with each other. And there is kind of a controlling spirit.
