No I am not dry-eyed. This world makes me cry because of how much pain and sin there is. And most are hell bound because they will not live for Jesus. I am only speaking for myself, I do not know if other Christians cry because the world is hell bound or if they are dry-eyed. I would guess they do.

Even though I said yes, referring to a majority, I too am not dry-eyed. It appears, that we are in total agreement when we answer for our self. But considering a majority, could one might see why this question was posed?Amazing how another's response brings to light, that we can not read the minds of others. So allow me to be a little more specific...Are we? Christians as a majority, dry-eyed in a Hell bound world? Sorry for any confusion.

Despite the wideness of the way to death and the cold and lukewarm, there is still a body of Christ who knows His love, feels it, in themselves, for other people, toward a very distorted culture and lost world...whose eyes See both great love and great sorrow, and both of these keep their eyes wet alot of the time. siskim

YES . and most certainly even christian attitudes are tainted with sin to. in this world of people that is so hell bound i think all christians have that disbelief that peter prayed for when he said Lord I Believe help my disbelief. We dont at all times and places realize the severity of hell that will claim so many. If we did we more than likly be knocking at our neighbors doors instead of ever taking time out for self pleasures . no we wouldnt we still are sinner's we still have the God of self in all of us we still most often find our self worshiping at his alter.no wonder God has to save us and God alone.

Ya after I polled I realized you probably meant Christians in general. But it seems many Christians are not concerned with the salvation of others or have unbiblical beliefs on salvation (New Age type junk). Which makes me think many are dry-eyed.

There are numerous people in my church, that are so set in their ways and only show face on Sunday morning only for appearance sake, yet oft times when they do wish to be heard, all one is capable of hearing is the negative, and how we should not ruffle any feathers. And IMHO, I do not believe that any one can stand and tell us that there are not the same people in their church. I can only change myself and be open to God and let Him change me for better. There is so much need today, I notice when starting to talk to people, they start to complain about sickness, relationship problems etc. people seem to be greedy, selfish, arrogant. I've experienced this lately in our church... and what about non-believers. We are so concentrated on our 'things' that we are wasting time to reach the lost. Yes, I cry and get frustrated and angry even, honestly. I haven't been in so good mood lately, I've been 'thundering', because what's happening in churches. God forgive me, I am lost without you and I'm nothing without you Jesus. I need you Holy Spirit to guide me.

I actually think that most Christians are concerned for the state of the world, which is good. The question is whether they're concerned about the right things.

Yep,that's a good question and I don't want to judge people, God is the judge. We just need to follow what God is telling us, let the others do their thing. Just examine yourself that you are right with God, I'm talking to myself here.

The only correct question here is ....are we doing what God tells us to do....are we planting the seed? Or are we leaving that up to someone else and saying good luck.

Actually, God teaches us more about, than just prostletizing the Gospel of Christ. He teaches us, how as we grow and mature in Him, to also eventually help teach younger Christians how to learn to grow and mature in God thru Christ. Now, while I love all people, I do not get caught up in thier personal lives. As God leads me to interact with those He has me meet, I Serve God, but then leave those people to God, in prayer for his Holy spirit to prayerfully save thier soul, or to have helped them grow more in thier relationship with God. Regardless how much I may want others to be saved, to want to grow etc., I have no control over such. therefore, I cannot allow myself to be overburdened by worries of what or how they choose. I've learned to leave them to God to deal with from there. God Bless!!
