There is only one place one can hide from the devil, and that is IN Christ.......I have heard of cases where self proclaimed 'witches' would go to churches to slowly become disruptive, just as one example...the building is not a guarantee, only The Temple of His body..:)
*** I know that/but maybe all those glowin halos makes me harder 2 spot..(sure hope so)**<m>***

Yes absolutely. Witches love infiltrating and disrupting churches and they will try to introduce their practices and beliefs into churches in a subtle way and to harm people.
****S'true***A black-clad crone once cursed me(loudly) 2 a whole church /Never seen her B4/go figgur !! 4 the sin of crowding in line/which I never !!!

What would you tell someone who was having issues? For example, if they told you that they were being attacked physically and even thrown across a room in full view of others seeing that. Or if heavy furniture is being thrown around like toy furniture in their house. Or even worse that a family member is possessed. Things like that that so many people are reporting and needing help with. But are hesitant to ask for help because they think they won't be believed or will be told they have mental issues.
Would ask God before I stepped in..

That is a curious way to put it.
"To me" and I know I am a bit diff than some people,
I would NEVER hide from the devil..and never have.
I look 'him' square in the eye [figuratively] and ..well...you don't
want to know what I say to 'him' ... but let's say 'he' doesn't much mess with me anymore...one of his pathetic minions may say in my head ...'Have another
piece of pie...' or "Put that off till tomorrow..."
But, honestly I laugh at that...in it's face...they, those thoughts or temptations
placed there, dissolve like smoke.
I no longer even really call myself a spiritual warrior because that enemy slithered away a while ago....I just was not much fun to play with. HA !
"He" doesn't dare mess with me...stupid, powerless roaring lion with no bite...piece of ****...

Hi there,

It comes down to whether you believe God, or don't believe Him.

The fact that Satan exists is Biblical fact. So I believe it. The Lord Jesus Christ was tried by Satan, and did not dispute Satan's claim to authority or power.

The Lord Jesus Christ cast out demons (devils), during His earthly ministry. He also empowered the twelve disciples, and the further seventy sent out by Him, to also cast out demons. This is recorded in the gospel records. Do we believe God?

There is much that is attributed to Satan by man that is not true, this we must not believe: but when God has spoken, as He has, regarding this spiritual being, we must believe what He says.

In Christ Jesus
Chris

Yes, i believe in Satan. What still shocks me is the fame he receives from Christians. He is like a celebrity many Christians know personally.

Seems like he is getting exactly what he craves from the very people who have victory over him

Why do you say that?
How does he receives fame according to you?

Many Christians talk about Satan more than Jesus. They, according to their testimony, have a weirdly ‘personal’ relationship with him; indeed, he is behind every bush, thwarting their efforts to be moral and obedient Christians. He is all knowing - reading their minds and interrupting their prayers; he is omni-present - attacking Christians all over the world, all the time; he is all powerful - dominating thought, emotion, and will until the Christian cries out to God.

In reality, Satan is a cautionary tale, an example of following personal will rather than God’s will. All the bogeyman hype does nothing but gratify his pride and his ego, which has annihilated the angel he was created to be.

Very true indeed....good post. Do you remember the 70's- 80's when there were demons in every doorknob that needed casting out!

True, the Enemy enjoys any attention and anyone talking about Him..

It's not happening in the church where I'm attending.

Maybe you go to the wrong church.
