Loving greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Hope all is well with you and your family and ministries. Of course we never and ever forgot all of your help and love towards me and my family and ministries here in North India. Because of your great assistance and unspoken able prayers which brought a lot of blessing.
We have no words to expresses other than our hearty thanks for being blessing to our ministry.
Church growth: We had baptized about 27 Hindu converts and it was great revival in our church now. Please those are not regularly coming to church now last year the Spirit of the Lord enabled them to renew their commitments towards the Kingdom of God. This year we are planning to reach at least some like last year although we have severe persecution is going on like we cannot hold any meeting outside like open air but inside of the building we can preach and teach regularly as we are having bible study every Wednesday and having fasting and prayer every Friday. And the Lord enabled us to expand the building also last year Nov. in the midst of great opposition. Praise God Amen!!!!!!!
Our Nation: India is facing lot of hindrance of preaching gospel openly and there were many churches have been damaged and several pastors attacked brutally and few pastors had been killed so far. There is no freedom to preach the gospel any more. Any time we may be attacked by Hindu religious Political groups like BJP, RSS etc.
Vacation Bible School: This year theme was PEACE STARS. As usual we had three places with 500 children for 5 days. And gave them prizes and gifts for those who regularly attended all five days and we also invited their parents to attend final day celebration and given gospel. Among all 500 children there were about 130 children from Sikh background and 20 Muslim children attended. It was great blessing to hold VBS. And we gave invitation all the children to attend Sunday School which is conducted every Sunday in the church building at 8.30 am so that we may able to equip more and to reach out their parents with Gospel that makes easy and nice for the Kingdom of God.
Bible Distribution: We also had bible distribution for the people those are in needy since they are not able to afford to buy it.
CHURCH PLANTING: There are three places Village Tira, including a slum, church planting is going on please pray that the Lord may help us to see the churches will be established.
Christmas Celebration and Carols: Of course the Lord enabled us to get police permission to go around for carols for three days, about 60 believers attended and gone with us. This is only one the best opportunity to distribute the tracks and we also have chance of invite new people for Christmas meal. Our church was so crowded and also distributed meal for 600 people including children and police officials came for protection. Last day of the Carol we had hired a bus to go around the Chandigarh where our believers are living out of Maloya. We had finished our Carols about 4 am.
Day Care feeding Centers: There are two children day care feeding centers are there in the slum. We feed the children those are coming to care center. These children mainly from labors’ community and some of them are semi orphans as well. Your valuable support mainly used for these centers its being blessing to these centers very highly. Each center has 42 children. In winter season they need shoes and blankets. Please pray for this need should be met soon.
Needs to be prayed for: We need of carpets, mics and Air Conditioner (3).A Film projector to show Jesus film. Since we have extended church building, there is great need of chairs.
