Hi,
It is for me!
I must stop even walking across the room to stop, pause and be aware of Him.
I will say to a friend I will call you right back...I can not bear not being centered in
what i call Reality...that all is within Him...the air I breathe...the life, the awareness that
is in me is within Him...that peace and happiness is everywhere...in Him.

How do you get 'centered'? Or want to make any praise comments...anything on the subject?
Or how you suffer when not 'in God', so to speak....
Cuz that power that parted the Red Sea is still here all around us and in us.
Ahhh, I love talking about God.

:) :)

No it is not important to me. I know that I am his, that Jesus holds me in his hand, that I am valued and loved by both God, Son and Spirit.
Just as I am not aware of my wife when at work or away from her, so I know that I am married to her, love her and am loved by her.
So it is with God.

I don't have to be aware or feel Gods presence, it doesn't mean he isn't prescent.

I would say that it is important for us to have whatever God has for us whenever He has it. Yes, at times some believers may get distracted or so busy at worldly things that they act for the moment as if He is not even there.

God knows our frailties and for a time He may wink at them, but I am certain He would like all of us to get closer to a connection with Him as described in the OP. If we are not moving, or striving to move, in that direction, how long will He continue to wink? Tempting God by expecting Him to continue to wink at our shortcomings would eventually, I believe, get us into more trouble that we really want to face...

Praise God there is no distance between God and man in the New Covenant. Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in you.

Oh, it crossed my mind...what if someone doesn't know how to feel God's Presence...
maybe the thought is even foreign to them...maybe they could think that feeling
inspiration and upliftment like reading the Bible or hearing a great pastor speak on Sunday
is 'good enough'....(cuz it is pretty wonderful
and the feeling can last for hours and hours):)

How does a person really feeeeel Him all around..how does one develop that other sense
or that sensitivity?
Maybe someone doesn't know what it means to be intimate with God.
(Again, maybe a foreign term...a wild idea, even.)

It is easy and it's the hardest thing to do ...why? I would say, because it is the simplest thing
on earth. And 'simple' is not for everyone...Ha! :)
That's why Jesus said become like a child...well, in this complicated world...
that can be easy...but, for many intellectuals...it isn't!!! Ha!

For me, I am acutely aware of the tricks of the mind or ego...that wants me to
concentrate on the things on this earth instead of the things above.. (Col 3:2)
The Father is in me...but, I often am not aware of Him!

You, too?

Why do your posts remind me of "What must I do?" in Matthew 19 and of Simon, who was astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw in Acts 8?
