Thanks for the response and glad to meet you! And I'm glad that your father knows Russian.
I think that a religious organization has many shortcomings, but I believe that the Russian Orthodox Church has many virtues. I believe that the joint liturgy is a very important part of faith, that's why I do not agree with you here ... But thank you very much for your wishes and advice!

Vasily:

Thank you for your candor. If there is any other question you have, even to answer any part of your objectives or quest, please let me know.

I'm here to share and learn as you are doing.

Bless you again in all your endeavors.

Dear brothers and sisters! I ask your advice, how do I correctly write an article [link removed] about the restoration of the Christian church so that it does not cause negative perception?

[please read ~ New Members Please Read - Posting Links Thank you.]
Jesus does the restoring when he returns.
Until then, restoration needs to be within ourselves and be a light to the world.

Vasily, I am in the "restoration movement" and have been since 1976. The "restoration movement" started in the last 1790's and today has millions throughout the world. We are not Protestant, Catholic, Morman, JW, etc. etc not a denomination, but "disciples" of the Messiah and speak where the Bible speaks and are silent where the Bible is silent. Our congregations are autonomous. We do not tell another congregation what to do nor do any other congregations tells us what to do. We have no "head-quarters" as it was in the first century congregations. Each congregation is overseen by an eldership (two or more elders), with a minister, deacons and disciples. (Notice I don't use the word "church" as this word was not in our bibles until the 1600's when King James wanted an English translation and gave his translators 15 rules to go by. The 3rd rule was when you get to the Greek eklessia to translate it with the English word "church." This word "church" is one of my "pet peeves." LOL)
We do not call our minister "pastor" or "Reverend." The Greek word "poimen" is translated in the N.T. as "pastors" and speaks of "elders" not a minister. I have several pages written on this and if you email me I will send it to you. Also, there is NO MAN on earth that is "reverend." Only God is reverend. Email me if you want more info. [email protected].

A friend of mine has written books on how to start a revival, and has travelled the world teaching on this subject, but he tends to dance up a revival which soon fades. My sense is that he should be teaching people how to restore and maintain a relationship with God and what that involves and what the outcomes of being in a relationship with God means and can lead to, i.e. possible pain and suffering for Christ/God and the Kingdom of God.

If you teach people how to restore their relationship with God and also how they maintain that relationship with God for the period of their lifetime, then a revival will occur when a group of like minded people come together in relationship with God and the fruit of their relationship will be evident within their interactions with the community in which they are living. This type of teaching can be considered to being about the restoration of the "Church."

The Book that you intend to write will evolve as your relationship with God evolves and the initial book will demand that you update your first book to reflect the life experiences that will you have during your life to reflect the changes that will occur as your relationship with God deepens and matures.

Start by tell you story of how you restored your relationship with God and then continue telling your story of how you have gone about maintaining that relationship with God so that it has not faded but grown into a deeper relationship with God as your have experienced life and the challenges that have/will come your way in your walk/journey with God by your side.

No one can take offence at your story, but they will take offence if you write your book if it seems that you are writing your book from a position of superiority rather than from a position of humility.

Shalom

Jesus started all this, and how was He treated? how was the apostles treated?

where do you get the idea that Christianity is warm and fuzzy and a feel good to the world. the Truth of God convicts the sinner, just how do you think you can be mister nice guy to them, unless you plan on telling them the lies they want to hear about themselves?

dogs can't be sons of God and pigs won't remove their faces from indulgence.
