People have told me that there are three people have to do with my birth. Mom, Dad, and God. In the Bible it says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that our substance was not hidden from God; He saw us yet unformed. But I never understood...what is His role in birth?

Well along with what you are learning that we were created as spirit in the first earth age. And this is why some are predestined that is forechosen before birth.here is a study I did some time ago about the Miracle of birth and the feasts of the Bible it shows Gods hand at work from the moment of creation though this study is based on a paticular pregnacy to keep the feasts in order it is reapeated in every birth http://www.christianityboard.com/miracle-b...t=Miracle+birth

I like that. God's word is amazing.I never knew there were parallels between our birth and the feasts. like you said, I think this does show that our lives are precious to God.

I have a questionAccording to the gap theory, were we in God's image in the first earth age?

God's role in our birth is to form us. Because without His acknowledgement nothing can be made or destroyed. Your father is the A, your mother is the B. But the mind who adds the A and B together is God.

Yes we are made in the Image of God and the angels I was just reading about Christ acention that may give you some clues to our spirt bodiesMatthew 17:2 "And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light."Matthew 17:3 "And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with Him."There was a definite brightness that shown when Jesus was transfigured, and when He came out of that tomb He also had that transfigured body, the purpose of the transfiguration, to show that there was no flesh body left to be moved, to be stolen, or to have anything done with it. The transfigured Body is not the decayed flesh body come to life, it is just that, a transfigured body, of a different substance of a different dimension There are some similarities between the risen fleshly body of Lazarus, and the transfigured body of Christ. Both of these bodies did eat, and consume food. When Jesus ate with the disciples and departed in the transfigured body, the food left with Him, right through the unopened door.So as I have told you our spirit body has substance

I think I understand that a little bit. But I also should remember that my finite mind can't comprehend God fully, so like Job, we can always know that God's way is perfect.I don't think I have ever read about the transfiguration before, but I have heard about it.does the transfiguration hint towards anything with us?

Its core to being a Christain if we do not believe that Christ didnt die but was resurected1 Corinthians 15. In this chapter, the Apostle Paul explains why it is crucial to understand and believe in Christ’s resurrection. The resurrection is important for the following reasons: (1) If Christ was not raised from the dead, believers will not be either (1 Corinthians 15:12-15). (2) If Christ was not raised from the dead, His sacrifice for sin was not sufficient (1 Corinthians 15:16-19). Jesus’ resurrection proved that His death was accepted by God as the atonement for our sins. If He had simply died and stayed dead, that would indicate His sacrifice was not sufficient. As a result, believers would not be forgiven for their sins, and they would still remain dead after they die (1 Corinthians 15:16-19) – there would be no such thing as eternal life (John 3:16).
