I will kick of the thought bubble.

Satan and the four beasts and the little horn beast of Daniel 7:1-12, 19 ff are wicked fallen heavenly host.

Paul confirms this in Ephesians 6:12.

and happy mother's Day to all.

J, correct, 1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour".

yes, that roaring is one of the devil's characteristics, "FEAR".

and another characteristics of the BEAST out of the sea, whom the devil gave power, Revelation 13:1 "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Revelation 13:2 "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

this is a man who display the characteristics of the devil.

as a leopard, "camouflage" he blends in until he attacks, don't see the lie, until it come.
as the feet of a bear, "Strong" and large in his determination to do evil. a large plan require time to decipher, and time is short.
his seat and authority is "authorized" by deception.

men, through out history are used by the prince of this world (the devil) to bring about the evil we must encounter as you clearly states in Ephesians 6:12.

the evil in this world will only intensify... into pure madness. hence the warning, 1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour".

PCY

PS, one of the clearest example of the use of a man in history, Matthews Chapter 2.

keep one hand on chapter 2 and the other on Revelation chapter 12. the same scene in history.
