1 Million Will Attend the Church of Oprah Monday, March 10, 2008SEATTLE, March 7 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christians are being deceived! We must pray and stop allowing this in their homes! Christian women are tuning in...hey, it's not like it's Marilyn Manson...or is it?A new book, Don't Drink The Kool-Aid: Oprah, Obama and The Occult, just released March 3, 2008 exposes a plan by the "most powerful woman in the world," in her very own words to transform the WORLD! Oprah.com gives a daily lesson from A Course In Miracles and from their own description they tell us that it is...mind-training!On The Oprah Winfrey Show, February 28, 2008, Oprah said, "I really do believe I was born to be a vehicle for this information to come to all of you. If you want to be a part of it, if you want to find out who you really are, join the largest interactive classroom in the world. It's free, because I want to begin to transform the world one reader at a time." WHAT IS THE CURRICULUM? Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth, which says:"A glimpse is enough to initiate the awakening process, which is irreversible." "The light of consciousness is all that is necessary. You are that light." "Sin is a word that has been greatly misunderstood and misinterpreted. To sin means to miss the mark, so to sin means to miss the point of human existence." "The man on the cross is an archetypal image. He is every man and every woman." This book will show you that what we have here is deeper than the first glance. This is part of a long, calculated plan. Not necessarily on the part of the key players, but orchestrated by one who has been around since the fall of man. What you have here is evil doctrine, persuasive and subliminal techniques, sudden rises in power and even the latter day peace alliance, formed by one of the New Age gurus profiled in this book. The pieces of the puzzle are coming together. http://christiannewswire.com/news/218715918.html

Seriously, Oprah has too much money, too much fame, and too much power.

I read about this on her boards. Very disturbing that someone with so much fame and clout is going to steer so many people so wrong. We are in the end times in my opinion.

I received this in an e-mail awhile back. I decided then, no matter what her topic, not to let her be televised in my home. I sent the mail to my friends list and several of them couldn't believe it. I don't know why not. It truly didn't shock me. I have found her to have strange doctrine for years now. She has some interesting topics at times, but I haven't really liked the shows as of late. I will not be a part of her brain-washing tactics.

I don't even like Oprah. Even before I knew what was going on with her teaching, I never listened to her. There was something about her that seems "too establishment".In anything, and this includes churches, wherever the masses go, stay away from it. But I see Christians everywhere following "fads" which is really the world's philosophy with the name of Christ stamped on it. Even my pastor and our church tries to get caught up in this stuff. For example, there was that men's movement called "The Promise Keepers". Sorry. I DON'T hug men. I told them I'll hug a gorgeous, blond, red-blooded woman like Agnetha Faltskog, but somehow I don't like this philosophy of a mass movement. It makes me very uncomfortable.Even our Lord said, "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."Christianity is not a mass-movement popularity contest. Few will there be that are saved.

After watching all the tapes this week of Dr.Jeremiah Wright, who Barak Obama calls his spiritual advisor and a biblical scholar, I was so saddened and sickened. I took comfort in 1 Peter 4:17 " For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of GOD: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of GOD?"I didn't know about the Oprah thing until you mentioned it. No more Oprah show at my house! I just feel sorry for the people of that church of hate. It is so sad that they haven't been taught the love of Christ for people of all races and how we are all GOD's children. It's like some of the Black leaders want to perpetuate racism for their own financial gain. I pray that they find a Pastor that does what GOD says in Jeremiah 3:15 "And I will give you pastors according to Mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."In Christ's name I pray,Blessed1195

This is scary and exactly the reason I joined boards like this to find out about this kind of stuff.

I too was shocked at Obama's Pastor when he spouted all that stuff how can a man running for president of the U.S. spend 2o years with a Pastor that shouts God D--- America should be our cry not God Bless America and Say we invented aids to kill and on on How can a man that calls this man his personal spirtual advisior be running for president Or should I ask how stupid people are for supporting him We are in deep trouble hereThank God, God is in control

You just have to wonder if some people even listen to anything deeper than the evening news sometimes. It is truly amazing that so many people are following him. I don't get it. Yes, Tim. It does make me leary too, when I see a big crowd following after something, I want to put on the brakes and check it out. You're so right. Narrow is the way and few that find it. God is listening to His people, though. He has not lost even ONE of His own! Thank you, precious Jesus!

'G-d damn America'?Posted: March 14, 20081:00 am EasternHal Lindsey© 2008 First, I am quoting this title, not agreeing with it.If your pastor's sermons dripped hatred for black people as a race and equated black people with devils, would that be grounds to question your views on racism? Suppose your pastor said from the pulpit that black people are responsible for all America's problems?Suppose you attended that church, under that teaching, for 20 years or more? Would that make you a racist? If not, shouldn't the issue of racism at least be called into question? That is the question facing presidential candidate Barack Obama because of his long association with his pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. But Obama says his campaign "transcends race." I am sorry, Mr. Obama, that is an impossible position in the context of this election, given your unique background – which can be both a blessing and/or a curse. It all depends on whether you condemn of agree with certain radical beliefs of your close associates. You can't dismiss some of these doctrines with glib one-liners. The American people deserve more than that.Obama dismisses criticisms by saying he doesn't always agree with his pastor. On the other hand, he said at a campaign appearance that, "I don't think my church is actually particularly controversial." Wow!He said that his pastor is "like an old uncle who says things I don't always agree with." We need to know specifically what Obama agrees with and what he doesn't agree with. Some beliefs espoused by his pastor could radically impact what he does as president.ABC News reviewed a number of Wright's sermons and posted snippets on its website. If these snippets are accurate, then one wonders where the two men could possibly have enough common ground to sustain a church relationship of 20 year's standing."The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing 'God Bless America.' No, no, no, God damn America, that's in the Bible for killing innocent people," said Wright in a 2003 sermon as quoted by ABC."God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme."Is this one of those things Obama doesn't "always" agree with?A week after the 9/11 attacks, Rev. Wright appeared to justify them, listing the reasons for his congregation. "We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye. …"Note especially Wright's assessment of the attacks on New York, Washington and the skies over Pennsylvania: "We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America's chickens are coming home to roost."Is this one of those comments Obama's "old uncle" says that he doesn't "always" agree with – or one of those he doesn't find "particularly controversial"?Not really, says Obama. "It sounds like he was trying to be provocative," he told a New York Times reporter.Obama lumps questions about his pastor into the "personal attacks" category, as if the views of the man who has been his spiritual mentor and good friend for 20 years were irrelevant.A statement released to ABCNews.com by the campaign sniffed, "Sen. Obama has said repeatedly that personal attacks such as this have no place in this campaign or our politics, whether they're offered from a platform at a rally or the pulpit of a church. Sen. Obama does not think of the pastor of his church in political terms. Like a member of his family, there are things he says with which Sen. Obama deeply disagrees. But now that he is retired, that doesn't detract from Sen. Obama's affection for Rev. Wright or his appreciation for the good works he has done."One of the reasons there are as many denominations within Christianity as there are is because people tend to congregate with like-minded believers under the teaching of a like-minded pastor. That isn't to say all members agree on all things, but they agree with more things than they disagree, or else they move on to another church.Jeremiah Wright married Barack Obama and his wife. Rev. Wright baptized both of his daughters. Obama credits Wright with leading him to Jesus. He has sat under Wright's teaching on morality, religion, race and politics for 20 years, but claims it is irrelevant to his campaign for the highest office in the land. One thing is for sure. Rev. Wright's many public statements reflect a different Jesus than the orthodox Jesus I have studied for over 52 years. And no wonder, since Wright claims his "black value system" is based on what he calls Black Liberation Theology, which he says he got from the "Liberation Theology" developed in Nicaragua during the 1970s.This Liberation Theology was condemned as a false doctrine by Pope John Paul II after then-Cardinal Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI) investigated it. All orthodox Christian leaders also condemned it. It is a Marxist-based revolutionary movement, disguised as "Christian," that uses violence when needed to overthrow governments and populations.I believe that no one can sit under the teaching of these kinds of core beliefs for 20 years and not have his worldview significantly affected.Hal Lindsey

Pretty strong stuff. I think I would have to question his intent with teachings such as this what does he hope to accomplish other than division among already secular peoples? Interesting Kriss.

Kriss, I too take comfort in that fact that GOD is in control! I also remember Amos 8:11 about the famine,Romans 11:8 about the spirit of stupor (there seems to be alot of that going around) and 1 Peter 4:17 (that judgment begins at the household of GOD). What really bothers me is this Obama, who sat in those pews for 20 years, denies hearing this kind of stuff. I don't buy it! If you look at the church website, they are more concerned with Africa than the Kingdom of GOD. Just think of the hate that his kids are hearing, and also, this explains why his wife is so angry-proud of America for the first time.If he is elected, that will just tell us we are alot closer to 6th seal, 6th trump and 6th vial. One good thing came out of Reverend (Ha Ha) Wright's hate speech: I am starting a Bible study in my large neighborhood in April. After hearing that garbage, I wrote an article for our neighborhood paper inviting people to join me in the study of GOD's word chapter by chapter and verse by verse. I prayed to GOD and asked if teaching was my gift, please let them come. If it is not, then I'll know if no one is interested. I have so much passion for GOD's word and it really saddens me to see all this ignorance. I have got to take some action, and I can not physically sit at the computer and type alot like you do. That's why I only get on every once in a while. My body hurts too much!Have a great time not celebrating Easter. I will have my communion at home on Passover which I think is April 3rd. My kids are coming home from college today, so I won't be on for awhile! I have educated them on the truth about our highest Holy Day so no eggs or bunnies here!Take Care!!!!!

Oprah has gone off the deep end"The song of Easter is the glad refrain the Son of God was never crucified." -- "Jesus" of A Course in Miracles--------------------------------------------------------------------------------During this Easter week, it is important to understand what Oprah Winfrey, Marianne Williamson and Eckhart Tolle are teaching about Jesus Christ and Easter. This week and daily throughout this whole year, Oprah has enlisted Marianne Williamson to teach from A Course in Miracles on her Oprah & Friends XM Satellite Radio. A Course in Miracles is reputedly "new revelation" that was channeled from a "Jesus" through a New York psychologist by the name of Helen Schucman.Oprah is also in the midst of a ten-week New Age Internet class that she is co-teaching with "spiritual teacher" Eckhart Tolle, which is based on his new book The New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose (Plume, 2006). According to Tolle, Jesus' teaching of "salvation" means "a radical transformation of human consciousness" (p. 13) and the process of "rebirth" is "reincarnation." (p. 252)The "Jesus" of A Course in Miracles teaches the following things about the Easter story:"This is Palm Sunday, the celebration of victory and the acceptance of the truth. Let us not spend this holy week brooding on the crucifixion of God's Son, but happily in the celebration of his release. For Easter is the sign of peace, not pain. A slain Christ has no meaning." (ACIM Text, p. 425) "In you the knowledge lies, ready to be unveiled and free from all the terror that kept it hidden. There is no fear in love. The song of Easter is the glad refrain the Son of God was never crucified. Let us lift up our eyes together, not in fear but in faith." (ACIM Text, p. 428) "The crucifixion did not establish the atonement; the resurrection did. Many sincere Christians have misunderstood this." (ACIM Text, p. 36) "For the undoing of the crucifixion of God's Son is the work of redemption, in which everyone has a part of equal value." (ACIM Text, p. 209) "Sacrifice is a notion totally unknown to God. It arises solely from fear, and frightened people can be vicious." (ACIM Text, p. 37) "The journey to the cross should be the last 'useless journey.'" (ACIM Text, p. 52) "Do not make the pathetic error of 'clinging to the old rugged cross.'" (ACIM Text, p. 52) "The Atonement is the final lesson he [man] need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation." (ACIM Text, p. 237) [all emphasis added]

I just saw this video on youtube where Oprah basically denies that one needs Jesus to come to God. Isn't that written in the Bible? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ~John 14:6Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowlegeth the Son hath the Father also. ~1 John 2:22-23

There is going to be a world false religion that is going to have a big influence on government that is going to persecute real believers in last days. This is probably the prelude to that happening. Scary and exciting.
