I am not exactly what heresy he is taking about. I have no say on this as I do not know what he considers heresy. If he considers the rapture teaching a heresy. So do I. And Jesus said the same thing in Revelations 22:16-21I would pray for those people though. I would ask Jesus to show them the truth. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy (Matthew 5:7 KJV). Lets pray for them instead not against them.

Someone new on our board posted it.....Oh by the Holy Spirit that stirs within me over this issue, I pray that God will bring upon their heads starting today the measure of the plagues written in the word of God for teaching seductive lies to the lost and snatching the truth from the harts of new believers(their quest). Most Holy God I pray for the sake of those who have been drawn here by the Holy Spirit from all corners of the world to fellowship in this place with you in truth and in spirit. in bold, not quite a fair statement to make regarding the seductive lies spoken to the lost and that our quest is to snatch the truth from the new beliver yet not give any specifics of what abominable sin has been committed. God in all His prophets always spoke of what the sin was before passing the judgment. And why address it in this manner why not aproach each thing on each thread and speak what they believe the 'truth' is so that we might stand before our accuser...Even Christ was given that courtesy

agreed and to add a bit here. since we don't know where another stands we could very well be praying damnation over the head of one of the Lord's special annointed children and bring whatever curses we pray for right to our own heads....in light of these two things, I would walk a very cautious line and keep the fear and respect of the Lord close to my heart.BTW: where is this posted prayer, I want to see it and know who it is I am dealing with.....

Lord, you deeply love the person that posted the information we are seeing. You know us so intimately, yet you love us anyway. I cannot understand why you would come to die for the ungodly. All over this site there is evidence that Satan is alive and well, but there is also evidence that your Holy Spirit is at work. We are fooling ourselves if we try to take credit for anything good that you're doing. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you that you use us in spite of ourselves. Bless the person who wrote those words and help him/her to see that we are all in the same "boat". We are all hopeless without your redeeming grace and mercy. Your word says that "pride goeth before a fall". May that not be the case here. May we humble ourselves under Your Mighty Hand and let Your Name be exalted forever! May we live lives seeking Your ways, Your will, Your face! May we know Your Word and not conform to the ways of the world in which we live. May we love those that are enemies of the cross, for they are really Your enemies. They aren't angry with us. They are really rejecting You. May we have mercy on them like You have on us. God will not hear that prayer for he himself said 43Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the tax collecters do the same? 47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the tax collecters do so? 48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. ( mathew 5 43-48) We do not pray for plagues and curses when it comes to our enemies, but we pray that they may be blessed with the truth. that is the prayer our lord will hear.

Ah, it appears from your later response this is with regard to OSAS doctrine?From the original prayer, it would seem to be deeper in issue than OSAS alone.As I posted in another thread not long ago:2 Timothy 2:22 Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24 And the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25 Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.Regardless though, there is not one amoung us of whom we are so perfect in our ways that we should call plagues upon another.
