What about the question about where Jesus was quoting from "in the law" (Matthew 22:36,37-40) and its context, which you raised? Surely the question was not long, nor complicated, right?
I think you are complicating what I was clearly trying to get across. You are just too wise for me.

Oh, c'mon sister. The question is simple (designed to get people to think). Wisdom comes from God.

Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Ok, why the secret messages?
I like to see your answers as well.

Dream on buddy would we all...we have both ( Stranger ) asked her repeatedly if she is a Mormon...yet she said " ask questions" But when we ask, she wont answer.
We both have asked specific questions ...she still will not answer.

Hence she says there will be an INBOX PM sometime.

In her opening thread she said- " ... so no one's going to come after me with a pitch fork if I happen to be Mormon? "

Mormons like the JW are a cult not " christian "..our contention was that she should have clicked " Other" when registering not "christian"
Christians believe that the Blood of Jesus Christ was the last sacrifice .." Once and for all".
Mormons are taught that not all sins can be washed away by His blood.
...and stuff like that.

We don't all have to be mainline christians ..I am not... I'm now out of church... but if were are christians we do all believe the foundations of our faith ..the Blood Of Jesus being one the most important foundations.

Obviously you did not follow this thread before you posted ;)

Everybody Recognizes His Post's/ He rely needs a full time Publisher/ they are not posts they are Book's. LOL ...
Yeah, but I quoted official LDS sources on the subject. I received no answer about their own sources that deals with those sources (and was even banned from an LDS forum for asking), then (other forum) or now. I am not looking to railroad LDS or anyone else. I am interested in truth and that takes prayerful "study", and I read those things produced by other faiths so that I know what they believe, or claim to believe:

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I can understand, a need to get a grip on other denominational view's, and that's OK, as for me I will pass over extremely long Post's if there is not something of value in the first couple of paragraphs! Personally it is difficult for me to read at length!
Question ? are you JW.

You and I actually chatted for two weeks on ChristianForums, with all these exact same posts and videos. You became very frustrated that I do not share SDA's interpretation of things and the conversation ended.

We could say the same about the Catholic Church, but there are still Christians in the Catholic Church.

The Roman Church's origin is solidly Christian. Turn to the book of Romans in the Bible. It's in the New Testament.

I have yet to see an answer to the simplest of questions from Jane...just keeps coming back as to "why" one wants to know the answer to the questions she so freely said to do, "ask me questions...

Yes. The questions she wants you to ask, are not the ones being asked.

Is this what you are looking for- Deuteronomy 6:5 , Leviticus 19:18? And does Jesus quote the law in everything He said? I know He sure did allot, but seems He did quote it mostly when He was saying things like "Ye have heard that it was said of them of old...but I say unto you..."

Pity.

I am a member of, the remnant foretold in prophecy (Revelation 10:1-11; Revelation 12:17; Revelation 14:6-12), the last Elijah messengers, the second/third Advent Heralds, Seventh-day Adventist movement.

I don't know much about Mormons.
I did read a little on it but did not further look into it.
I know some of them, customers of my business.
Always paid their bills in time and never asked for a discount.

I experienced Christian clients who were always nagging us the get the price down.
When they found out we were Christians, they wanted things or free.
A Baptist pastor would be at the counter and treated my sales clerks like garbage.

One exemption was a Pentecostal Pastor who would bless staff with tips.

Yes. The context is the Ten Commandments, see Deuteronomy 5:1-33 and Deuteronomy 6:1-4, Deuteronomy 6:6-25. Then see "sin" in Leviticus 19:17, and "not hate".

Jesus says nothing that is not in perfect harmony with all that is gone before in the Law and the Prophets, Isaiah 8:20. This question doesn't address that Jesus was quoting OT (which people continually say was written only for the Jews (that is error)) in response to the question that the Pharisee asked Him.

Jesus was contrasting His perfect explanation of that which is written, with those others (Pharisees, scribes, etc) that also commented, "said", on the Law and the Prophets. So when Jesus said, "Ye have heard it said ...", He was not referring directly to the written material (otherwise He would have said, "It is written ..."), but to those who expounded (commented, said things, as the Pharisees, scribes, Sadducees, etc) upon it, and then He Himself said (as Master/Lord and giver of the Law and Prophets), "but I say ..." as the ultimate and final authority in explanation.

"Jesus says nothing that is not in perfect harmony with all that is gone before in the Law and the Prophets, Isaiah 8:20. This question doesn't address that Jesus was quoting OT (which people continually say was written only for the Jews (that is error)) in response to the question that the Pharisee asked Him."<----- Yes, which is the most important Commandment.
Yes, agreed. We can find Jesus on every page of the bible. ♥
"

Was not the 10 Commandments written by God's own hand?
