Congrats for bringing back a dead topic. What is position #2? The Rapture? It doesn't exist. Christ comes back last......so in short, I rather be left behind.

Untill Christ Returns:) One is Gods Words ........................One is mans Word There is a famine on for Gods Words so until the end the argument continues(Amos 8:11-12)11Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: 12And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.And the whole world will be under a delusion except the Elect therefore the majority would seem wrong. So follow the minority or the Marjority your choice

(Rom. 8:19-23). This is what we are waiting for according to Paul. The "WHOLE CREATION" is waiting for the manifestation of the SONS of GOD. Now, if we are not waiting for the same thing, could we be in error?Logabe

The bible definitely teaches a post-tribulation, pre-millennium second coming. Here are the scriptures to prove it. "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man Coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." So, here in Mattew 24 Jesus, himself is teaching that His second coming is going to happen immediately after the great tribulation, not before, and also since it is immediately after the great tribulation that means it is also before the millennium. Then He continues: "And He shall send His Angels with a great sound of a trumpet, (The last trump) and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." This last verse is of course talking about the rapture which happens at the same time that He comes back.Revelations 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had recieved his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." (one millennium) Here we have all of God's children who went through the great tribulation but had to flee into the wilderness to escape the antichrist, although many of them were martryed, living and reigning with Christ on the earth for one thousand years or one millennium. This verse tells us a few things. First the church is going to go through the great tribulation, because how can they refuse the mark of the beast and refuse to worship the antichrist (the beast) during the great tribulation unless they were here on earth during the great tribulation. Since the church is going to be going through the great tribulation then the second coming of Jesus to rapture and resurrect His children of all ages won't happen until after the tribulation. Second, it shows that the millinium is after the second coming, because all of these people who reigned with Christ for one thousand years did so after they had already gone through the great tribulation. Third, for all you Amilliniasts it shows that their is such a thing as the Millinium, or the 1,000 year reign of Christ and His saints on the earth.

Blessings and peace to all..... It is good to consider all things biblical yet, when it comes to a topic concerning the future how productive in Love are we? If any of us could answer the querstion would we have any greater Love to give? I suggest we should direct our attention to Loving others, feeding the hungry, dressing the naked, quenching thirst with life giving water. Brothers and Sisters, wisdom is good, loving action is better so if we answer this question will we only be doing what is good or what is best? If the Lord came today would he be happiest to find us trying to predict the future or to find us searching for lost sheep? Peace

Revelation 3:10. "Because you have kept my command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world to test those who dwell on the earth."This verse is a promise made by Christ to one of His seven churches, the church of Philadelphia. The hour of trial Jesus speaks of in this verse is the period of time that our Lord calls the "great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be" (Matthew 24:21).Romans 5:9 "Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him."I Thessalonians 1:10 "and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come."God will come for his Church suddenly at a time when we least expect it. For this reason, He instructs us to be ready, always prepared, and on guard for his coming. As those around us turn their backs on God, worshipping themselves, other gods, or false prophets instead, we should be looking up. We should have our spiritual lives in order, so that we might escape what is to come. Especially as we are now witnessing the beginnings of birth pains, God reminds us that we need to be in prayer constantly so that we will not be led down the other path and miss His coming.God felt it was so important for us to be alert and watchful for his coming that he reminded us several times to be ready. Matthew 24:42 "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming."Matthew 24:44 "For the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will. Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone."Matthew 25:13 "Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour." After the rapture of the Church, the tribulation will fall upon the Earth. For those of us who received Christ and were prepared for His coming, we can shout for Joy. The Lord has prepared a place for us and we will be with him always.Isaiah 26:19-21 "Your dead will live; their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust awake and shout for joy. For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits. Come, my people, enter into your rooms, And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while, Until indignation runs its course. For behold, the Lord is about to come out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; and the earth will reveal her bloodshed, and will no longer cover her slain." For me it makes much more sense to know God will come before the Trib. We know the Trib will be 7 years give or take, and the events that will take place, so therefore we would know when Jesus would be coming back. The bible says we are not to know day nor hour. So, makes more bibical sense to see that he could come at anytime before the trib. Verses all seem to be pointed to pretrib rapture.

Read 2 Thess 2:2 the subject is the gathering to the Lord at the last trump the 7th that is after the man of sin (antichrist)no Pre trib is written in scripture its called a theroy because thats all it is pointing to something ??... thats only true if one has some preconceived idea in which they are looking for scripture to try to make it work.

And the prefix Pre means Before.

He comes once and all will be changed (1Cor. 15:50-4) there is no Pre trib rapture first is what we are saying there is one second coming one gathering to the Lord when God sets up his kingdom on earth. There is a tribulation that all go through the wheat are separated from the chaff when Antichrist is upon the earth and then comes the second coming and our gathering to the Lord after the tribulation not before http://www.christianityboard.com/?page=rapture

John 17:15 also says something very similar to this, except Christ says to not take them out of the world...take the time out to make a small study on studying the words "keep" and "from" in Greek in relation to these two verses

There is only one that I see as biblical and cosistant with the Word rather than men and thats #1
I would have to say that I agree with Christina. Although I do not believe in a "physical" catching away. But rather, a spiritual "caught Up" to the "Throne of God", which is the manchild being empowered and authorized by the "fullness of the Spirit" to set creation free and renovate the earth...ruling and reigning with Christ, exercising vengeance as "His weapons of indignation", and judging sinners and angels....in a nutshell.
smile.gif
(a "nutshell" which is almost ready to CRACK OPEN...so watch out!)
smile.gif
I believe that Jesus is the Pattern Son in ALL Truths and applications. He was "caught up" to the highest order, as He walked and lived upon this earth. Walking in the fullness of the Spirit, with the heavens open to Him...with all of nature and the spiritual realm under His control. He could withstand persecution, tribulation, or anything the devil could throw at Him. No one could, in fact, touch Him if He so chose to avoid their attacks. He is our Pattern. THIS is what the manifested sons are being prepared for.
