My first so called study folks go easy on me please. False Among UsWe have all seen it more than once I am sure those claiming to speak from G-d. In the last days or tribulation its going to be easier for the False Prophet to persuade people of what is false. (Deut 18:22 [KJV])When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, [but] the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.(2Pet 1:20 [KJV])Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.Do these people read the scripture? Undoubtedly not for they would know of the wrath that G-d has in store for those that speak presumptuously. John said:(John 13:19 [KJV])Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am [he].“When it come to pass, ye may believe that I am” kind of prophetic in way. How many of these False Prophets actually speak of things that come to pass? None. They take the word of G-d and add their own interpretation is what it amounts too.(Lam 2:14 [KJV])Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.God had severe punishment for those that applied this type of False Prophecy and it was death. My only question here was it physical death or spiritual death or both. He says in (Deut 18:20 [KJV])But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.Must not ring a bell for some folks that do this. What is the advantage of foretelling in this manner when there is in all likely hood that it will never come to pass.(Deut 13:2 [KJV])And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; What is too gain by it? Riches, Fame, notoriety ? What’s to gain? Embarrassment, shame especially when the foretelling fells to pass.(Mark 13:22 [KJV])For false Christ’s and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if [it were] possible, even the elect.Elect interesting word. Greek term “ekloge” English translation elect, choose, select. The redeeming graces from G-d are needed to deliver men from sin. The election concept is that G-d out of the pure goodness of his heart from all eternity elected some to everlasting life and he did not enter into any covenant of grace to deliver them out of sin and bring them to salvation by the Redeemer. I guess what this verse says in Mark 13:22 is that even those who have chosen Jesus has their Saviour are subject to the teachings of the false prophet .(Rev 19:20 [KJV])And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. In the above verse who is the false prophet being cast into the lake of fire?Question here ”Is knowing the word not good enough to see through these individuals? Will the False Prophets know the word of G-d so well that they fool even the knowing?

Not bad Two:) And I agree with your study we are so ignorant of the word prophesy In answer to your question Yes look at how Satan tested Christ he used the Word of scriptures this is excatly how false prophets, prophies workjust like rapture theroy they make it sound oh so holy but God never taught it. God has foretold us all things so we will not be fooled by these false prophets question is do we read them as he(God) wrote them or as we want them to be to make the false prophets holy sounding words give us itchy ears?

In 2 Thessalonians 2 it teaches it is only those with a lack of love for truth that is given to delusions. My people perish for lack of knowledge. But over and over again the word teaches that it is those who are not in truth who perish.Revelation 13:7-9.7.And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8.And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9.If any man have an ear, let him hear. Faith tells us that our sins are forgiven and our names in the book of life.John 3:16. If you cannot see that truth and faith go hand in hand and that all true worshippers are in Spirit and Truth then you can be led away. But faith, truth and the Spirit are what is needed. Faith in the truth of Christ, receiving of Gods Spirit whilst living in love for God and others. Are you saved? And what difference does that make for you as far as false prophets.?Faithful.

FaithfulI dont quite understand how you put these verse's together to come up with faithis truth? Not that, I dont agree that you must have faith buts its the START of Wisdom and truth faith alone doesnt give one truth of all things, you can have faith in Christ and still believe a false doctrineWisdom is from God and it is Wisdom that discerns truths. Anyone that believes has faith but truth wisdom comes from knowing his Word It is through the amount of Wisdom God gives one that allows how much truth one understandsThe lack of love of truth is about false prophets who love their lies of men more than the truth of Gods Word and the verse you give in Rev. are talking about Satan waging war in heaven just before he gets kicked to earth. and that the whole world from lack of truth will follow after the beast
