The Great Iron Jaws

There was a time earlier in my Christian journey when God dealt more with me in dreams and visions than He does now, though He still does from time to time. After a fast He would give me a dream or vision while I was asleep, that was very realistic, just as if it was real and I was a witness or a participant.

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: [4] That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

and,

Job 33:14-17 KJVS
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
[15] In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
[16] Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
[17] That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

I had ended a fast that day and went to sleep that night. As I slept God sent a terribly vivid vision or dream. In this I was an observer but not a participant. I was watching two men on the ground wrestling, struggling and fighting against each other. They were stereotypical of men in the world, each trying to get an advantage over the other. To climb higher, be better, make more money and all of the rest that's part of the ways of the world. It wasn't black there but was very dark and shadowy.

Behind these men and not noticed by them was an imposing, dreadful apparatus. Imagine if you will a massive set of jaws similar to those we have. Both the top and bottom jaws were lined with massive rectangular teeth, each tooth being say fifteen feet in height and ten feet in width. These "teeth" were in a straight line top and bottom, not curved as a human jaw. The entire structure appeared to be made of old, massive pieces of steel or iron.

The impressive thing about the teeth was that each one was hinged where it met the solid iron jaw. The top teeth hinged at the tops and the bottom teeth hinged at the bottoms. As the jaws opened vertically (like a freight elevator) each of these teeth would begin to hinge back and forth at random and in so doing would make a sort of gobbling action. And one more thing, it seems that all that hinging back and forth of all those iron teeth made a terrible squealing noise as unlubricated iron on iron is apt to do. With this sort of motion anything close to those fearful jaws would be gobbled to the inside. What lay on the other side of those jaws I did not jknow nor did I want to think about.

Now, I'd always considered that the gates of hell, what few times I did think of them, were set side by side like all the gates we are familiar with. What the Spirit of God was showing me here was a massive, terrible gate that opened like some freight elevators, top gate goes up, bottom jaw goes down, but the mating edges were lined with those hinging teeth.

These were the gates of hell that these two ignorant men were were next to. So close to being gobbled up and not even aware of it. As they wrestled, rolling back and forth on the ground, they moved against those horrible gobbling teeth, gobbling, hinging back and forth. They were quickly consumed, swept inside by the jaws and delivered to the darkness on the other side.

After they were eaten, the teeth ceased their gobbling and were still. Those naive jaws closed so that the top and bottom teeth met. It was quiet after Jaws and teeth stopped their actions. The jaws were closed and the teeth were together, similar to our jaws when shut with teeth resting together. All the while I had been standing off to one side, away from the jaws, quietly, fearfully witnessing the whole thing.

After some unknown period of time had passed, years or minutes I know not, the jaws opened again and spat out those same two men. Immediately I saw them as they were both laboring in a large, busy restaurant. They were joyfully rushing from table to table and at one point actually dove together to catch a small crumb that had fallen from one of the tables.

As this scene played the Lord began a narrative about these men and their labors. Though I was deep in sleep it was as if i were watching a movie, He said; "these two men after experiencing these gates, and what awaited them on the other side of them, would do anything to avoid returning there. No job would be to hard, dirty or difficult, no hours would be too long, no conditions too harsh or adverse. They would cheerfully do any and every task and praise God all the while they worked. They would never again complain. But in reality this cannot happen. Once a person, man or woman, passes through those jaws they can never return. Hell is a one way ticket. They have entered forever. This is the message that came with the terrible scenes and emotions. I was like Job who lamented;

When I say, My bed shall comfort me, my couch shall ease my complaint;
[14] Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions:

That was the end of the Lord's message and after that I awoke. My heart and my mind were racing and a fear gripped me that I will not even attempt to describe. "Lord, is that me"!? I didn't know what to say or do. As I lie there a verse of scripture was very strongly impressed to my heart and mind. With the bed side lamp on, I grabbed my bible and turned as quickly as I could to it. Hebrews 10:35;

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

A great wave of relief and Thanksgiving replaced my fear and apprehension. He has given me dreams of great beauty, peace and encouragement from time to time but this dream was a warning for all.
So let us all be advised. God does not give such things just to pass the time. Even though this was three decades or more ago the spiritual impression it made on me is like a branded mark. I'll never forget it.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Paul knew the terror of the Lord. Pray God that you escape those Jaws. If you are a Christian, a person that has been born again and is a dedicated disciple of Jesus then rejoice. You have escaped the damnation of hell. I post this for me and for all who believe and all who will come to believe. Any peace, comfort, quietness of spirit you are presently enjoying is because God has graciously granted it. I can get still and quiet at any time and realize that the peace of God and His wonderful presence surrounds me. The Holy Spirit of God is wonderfully here! Praise be for His gift of peace. Try to imagine what it would be like without His presence and peace. You cannot because even as a sinner He allowed us all to have a measure of His presence. I doubt if you can imagine his absence unless He has allowed you to briefly experience it. The absence of the peace of God is the eternal atmosphere of hell. He is Lord of all.

That's what it's like on the far side of those gates. He did not give me this just for myself but for whosoever will. He that has ears to hear let him hear. I have been chastened and scourged by God and I praise Him for it, for He still is dealing with me as a son. A blow from the correcting hand of God is better than any kind embrace from others, since He is directing us in His ways.

Though I've been saved 40 years, in the last two years friends God has yanked me out of one life and thrust me into another more serious, sober one. God never stops working in us. Never. Think that since you've been saved and then baptized in His Holy Spirit that the work's all done? Wrong, way wrong. You will be amazed to find that God will find plenty of wrinkles in your spiritual garments that need a good ironing.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

It's for our good and training that the Holy Spirit shapes us and for the good and teaching of everyone that listens. I do not pretend to know everything and there are no experts on God. Like the disciples we can only speak the things we've seen, heard and experienced that align with the word of God. In sharing this I am relaying the portion of the Bible he wanted to me to share. I've done that. Refer all questions to the Lord.

May the Lord settle and comfort you, cause you to see that though the path be hard and narrow, hedged with briars, He always walks with you.

There is a hell.

I can't find one instance where Christ spoke of hell. I can see where the INTERPRETERS WRONGLY translated HIS words, "gehenna" and "hades", as hell, quite a few times. They wrongly translated "gehenna fire" as hellfire, mainly in the Sermon on the Mount, which is about the Millennium, when Christ will rule with a rod of iron. Elijah will return and will restore all things, including a return back to the time of Acts. The temple will be there and Gehenna, the trash pit outside of Jerusalem, will be ever-burning. During the Millennium, a transgression could easily mean death, like with Ananias and Sapphira during Acts. Here's a picture of Gehenna during the Millennium, in the very last 2 verses in Isaiah.
Isa 66:23-24
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

No one can prove the existence of the fake, pagan hell, the lie that many Christians adore and will never give up. The word "hell" never appears in any manuscript I know of that is used as the basis of any English Bible. Hell is an added word that replaces 4 other words that have zero relationship to the word "hell" - (sheol = OT grave, hades = NT grave, Gehenna = trash pit outside Jerusalem, tartarus = prison for fallen angels). Hell and Brimstone sells Bibles and brings in paying customers every Sunday to the worldwide circus that calls itself the Denominational Church System. Besides salvation (which most churches do a good job with), fellowship, business contacts, and cheap dinners, are about the only benefits one can get from attending "church". You sure can't learn much real truth. There are exceptions, but I doubt if they make up more than about 1/2 to 1% of the total. When you pick a church, it's definitely a "pig in a poke". Denominational churches are essentially Jewish synagogues that teach Jewish doctrine (which no one today will ever get), to Gentiles. An example of something that no one living today will ever get, is the rapture, which only Israel plus a few Gentiles grafted INTO Israel), will be part of.

A little off the subject, but, did you know that in Rev 20:12-15, not one of the many billions standing before the White Throne and being judged, were ever said to be alive, when they were judged or when those that failed were tossed into the lake of fire, along with Satan, the grave, and death? They were all said to be dead and, thus, one would have to assume they were not conscious. Thet will be sort of like the dead carcasses in Gehenna in Isa 66. God is more of a loving God, then Christendom likes to think He is. Many Churchies want those less pious than themselves to suffer and to be punished. The only eternal punishment that God metes out is eternal death.
Rev 20:12-15
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell (the grave) delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

What about the destiny of eternal darkness? I find it very curious that no one considers this end as a possibility. Yet this is the place for the religious hypocrites.

Frank's dream must have been from somebody else, not from the Lord.

I find it amazing that when someone disagrees with certain Bible issues, they blame it on wrong translations.

It's very, very dark and that darkness will last eternally, when you're dead.

People like DA Carson have spent years learning how to study scripture, and how to really pull meaning from text. I should perhaps hesitate to to brand a half an hour word search of equal value.

But even if we are only considering what we, ourselves can glean from a 30 minute word search of scripture, it still leads us to a fairly startling conclusion, one that we shouldn't ignore. Consider:


Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. - Matthew 3:10

His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.” - Matthew 3:12

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. - Matthew 5:22

If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell. - Matthew 5:29–30

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. - Matthew 7:19

while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” - Matthew 8:12

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. - Matthew 10:28

Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. - Matthew 13:40–42

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. - Matthew 16:18

That is only in Matthew, I didn't see it as necessary to plum all the gospels. But doesn't it strike you that our Savior obviously felt the topic was a serious one, to repeat the warning as many times he did? I'm not commenting on the ratio of heaven:hell comments, as if that should weigh into what makes a topic worthy of consideration. No...I'm saying that Jesus is repeating himself, again and again, in the most graphic and concerning of ways. He wants us to GET this, to be worried about this, and to understand what is at stake. Peoples souls. It's not a 'shrug it off, whatever man' situation that he came for. This is for people's everlasting soul and it matter's what they choose. It's for, or against. In God's presence, or in the darkness. Eternal reward, or eternal punishment. We need to start looking at everything through this lens. Because it's obvious that Christ did.

The Lord Will choose simpletons like me and others that have not been stuffed by seminaries and dead denominations.

Call it hell, hades or a warm theme park it's separation from the love of God. This is the greatest punishment if all. I'm less than Amos who was a simple gatherer of sycamore fruit and yet know when God speaks.

Arguments over the scriptures never bears any good fruit. Only strife and division. I love it when someone tells me I didn't hear from God. It gives me insight. My favorite-ist a scripture.

1 John 2:27 KJVS
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

I always wonder, how many know so much they decided they don't need to be filled with the Holy Spirit? Yielding to the spirit of God pacifies great offenses. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit lays reams of questions to rest.

The problem I see is that many preachers limit Jesus’ teachings to the words of the kingdom spoke to Israel. For instance He personally sent out the twelve Mt 10:5-7 to the lost sheep of Israel with instructions to not go to the Gentiles, and yet in Mt 1:11 Jesus came to His own and they received Him not.

It’s possible if those preachers knew of Jesus’ continued teaching to the world hid from ages and generations according to Col 1:26 given to the Apostle Paul to fulfill God’s word, they would start realizing that those in Christ are mentioned as being in grace rather than hell, their judgment is reward according to their spiritual walk, and all this was not known until written in Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man, and Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Now my Strong’s Concordance tells me that the word “Hell” appears 54 times in the KJV, whereas the word “Grace” occurs 170 times. Next "eternal" AND "life" occurs 64 times in 30 verses in the KJV. I reckon they read what they may fear.

yes, now picture applying the warning correctly rather than to some imagined life after you have physically died the way we are taught, after you have corrected the text back to the original concepts rather than the ones scribed for us. Gehenna is a real place, we can point to it and everything right.

The concept of hell sells so well bc we are so preoccupied with literal death, which is irrelevant to God
