Alright guys its time for "Monthly questions from Matthew, even though this is the first time I am doing it, time"!!!!Just some quick questions for you guys
wink.gif
1)Curse Words- What does God think of cursing? Like, you know, the "F" word, or the "S" word, and stuff?2) In French histroy, there was a young girl by the name of Joan of Arc, during the 100 Years War who had reported to have received a message from the Saints. They hath told her to send French troops to defend Orleans. What is stunning, is that this tactic actually drove out the English forces, and even though matched up against incredible odds, gave the French victory in the war. But, was this truly from the Saints? I'd like to hear your opinions.3) This happened to me a while ago, but, as you know I'm a big time conservative

, and I oppose same-sex marriage, and am deeply saddened by new Jersey's recent legislations to legalize Civil Unions her in NJ. I am always worrying about the legalization of Same-sex Marriage. Sooo, a couple months ago the TV was on TBS (haha, I was watching Seinfeld
biggrin.gif
) I was watching it, and sitting down on bed with my remote next to me. Strangely, I hic-upped, just once, and my hand landed on the remote, changed the channel to the News. I looked at the TV and immediately caught the split second glimpse of a story that was being spoken of. There was a picture of the shape of NJ and a Rainbow Flag behind it, and the words "Same-sex Marriage" on it. The news immediately went over after that, and all I caught was that one image, for that one second. Later, I looked up gay marriage and new jersey on the internet, and found Gov. Corzine was trying to now legalize it. The question is, was that God trying to tell me to take action or something? Ugh! I'm confused!Well, I wish you the best to answering these questions.God bless.Your brother in Christ,Matthew Wesley Miller

Do you need to ask Matthew? Put simply they are a product of a rebellious generation.
But, was this truly from the Saints? I'd like to hear your opinions.
No because the scriptures teaches that the Holy Spirit leads you into all truth, not the saints. The saints are not mentioned in scripture as far as giving direction is concerned.
The question is, was that God trying to tell me to take action or something? Ugh! I'm confused!
No, you need a direct word of God to get involved in the homosexual issue because it is a stronghold of satan so to address it without his calling will put you under attack that you will not be able to counteract.

Here are some bible verses I think talk about swearing: Ephesians 4:29, 1 Peter 3:10, James 3:9-12. As for Joan of Arc, I don't know much about it. I have not seen any evidence that Saints or dead people that can talk to people on earth. I don't think the bible even talks about saints in the Catholic way, only referring to saints as in believers. As in once you become a believe and repent you are no longer a sinner but a saint. As for the gay marriage stuff: In Canada same sex marriage is legal nation-wide. I don't agree with it, but this is a secular country. Why should we force Christian laws on non-believers? Marriage in general has lost most respect. The thing I really hate is when people try to force churches to marry same sex couples. I really do not see why people think this is acceptable. I've come to learn that the world does what it wants to do. But I have heard that In the USA people are trying to make it a hate crime to speak against homosexuality. This is bad because people think that saying homosexuality is a sin is a "hate crime". Pray for your Country and state that is the advice I have for this. This is a cool idea with the monthly questions

1---Check out Colassians 3:8----2)It could be,I do not know this girl,I would say from that it could be.3)Everyone as a Christian should take action against this,it is wrong in God's eyes, and everything if we sit back and say nothing we to are accpeting the sin, sure many may not be able to protest but saying nothing even when a fellow friend ask your opinion is just going along with Satan's plan of us accpeting sin,and accepting him. I do not feel as if we should ever not take action against sin. If you think God is telling you to take action,do it,take action if your confused, pray to God for your answer! I will be praying for youWell, I wish you the best to answering these questions.God bless.Your brother in Christ,Matthew Wesley Miller[/QUOTE]

1)Curse Words- What does God think of cursing? Like, you know, the "F" word, or the "S" word, and stuff?Well we all know God doesn't care for profanity the question is why what is a cuss word today may have been different a hundred years agoso surley it not the words we use as slang is always changing. So I MHO I think its the emotion behind the profanity that God is against not any particular Words. The emotion behind cuss Words are most often anger, hate, hurtful to another ect.I think thats why God warns us against it I cant imagine Joking with a friend in jest saying a cuss word is a problem for GodIve called myself the occasional cuss Word in my life for doing stupid things:)

Although she does seem to have really existed I think we need to take some of the details with a grain of salt

3) This happened to me a while ago, but, as you know I'm a big time conservative , and I oppose same-sex marriage, and am deeply saddened by new Jersey's recent legislations to legalize Civil Unions her in NJ. I'm confused! We should always speak the truth on these things when opurtunity presents but its so saturated in todays society I think it was just a fluke but thats me only you could know for sure if so I would think God would bring it up alot more with time
