According to this there is no Second Coming and its a bit confusing to say the least especially since if you look at it none of these have been fulfilled. Why would Jesus allow himself to die before completely fulfilling these? I have found through research that the Christian Bible does not contain the Messanic Prophecies why? Why do we believe there will be a Second Coming? Why did G-d take his only Son to die on the cross before he could fulfill his prophecy? I did a word search of "Second Coming" in my Bible program and only one verse and Chapter came up and it had nothing to do with Jesus return so where do we get "Second Coming" from and what is the foundation for the term?JESUS DID NOT FULFILL THE MESSIANIC PROPHECIES What is the Messiah supposed to accomplish? The Bible says that he will:A. Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).C. Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. As it says: "Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore." (Isaiah 2:4)D. Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel, which will unite humanity as one. As it says: "God will be King over all the world -- on that day, God will be One and His Name will be One" (Zechariah 14:9).The historical fact is that Jesus fulfilled none of these messianic prophecies.Christians counter that Jesus will fulfill these in the Second Coming, but Jewish sources show that the Messiah will fulfill the prophecies outright, and no concept of a second coming exists.http://www.simpletoremember.com

He wasn't supposed to those are the prophecies of the second coming He never promised to come first as KING of KINGs thats the same mistake the Jews made the first time they failed to be able to see there were two coming not one and When Christ came the first time he didn't come as the KING OF KINGS so they didn't recognize him. they have they same blindness today they refuse to acknowledge all the prophecies he did fulfil. However God has put a slumber upon them that didnt believe to fulfill his plan of opening salvation to all. So dont be taken in by those whom God has put a slumber on temporarily. Until the time of the gentile be fulfilled.Be careful notice these prophecies are the same thing Antichrist will fulfill it is why so many will follow him including a lot of Jews and Christians, Its not until mid tribulation and the Abomination of Desolation that the Jews and many Christians will realize their mistake Antichrist comes first 6th trump Christ wont return until the seventh that's when he will fulfill all these things and become our King of Kings

Yes, and if I may add another thing, the unfulfilled prophecies is the very reason there has to be a second coming, other than the fact that the angels said it straightforward in Acts 1:11 and also things the Lord taught us (e.g. in the 24th/25th chapters of Matthew). This is where it gets a little (actually a lot) annoying with the Preterist doctrines where you know some of this stuff was not fulfilled, only to have them spiritualize it away to mean something else (eg. the throne of David is now in heaven, or Christ came back somehow in 70AD). This gives an atheist an extreme advantage to mock the Christian faith when scripture is wrested to mean what they want to just make it look fulfilled by their imaginative song and dance and even an atheist sees it does not line up.In addition, some of the prophecies to Israel itself have not been fulfilled yet---- Ezekiel 37 is a prime example since the house of Israel and the house of Judah were never historically reunited. Yes, I will admit, some prophecies are not fulfilled, but then again, this age is not over yet. There's more to come.

It is the meaning of this quote Mat 11:14 And if ye will receive [it], this is Elias, which was for to come. The Jews knew Elijha was prophicesed to come before the messiah So if theyhad accepted christ it would have been Elijha and it would have been over but they didnt of course

My best advice start with Psalm 22 written 1000 years before the crusifiction it is why Christ said the first lines of Psalm on the cross to lead you to psalm 22 because the prophecy was fulfilled right down to the casting of lots for his cloths

I can tell you that the only ones on the right side at the End are Jews and Christians why would you want to go backward to the slumber just to have to go forward again to Christ as all will be united under Christ as Eze, 37 says I think you need to stick around and learn more about Gods Word before you make any big moves. Being a Christian isnt doing anything against Judaism besides accepting there are two parts to his comings instead of all in oneSame God, Same book, Same Law, same prophets, expecting same messiah. check out the verses in the fulfilled scriptures I gave you.remember too The aspostels were mostly Jews true christains would never require anyone to give up your jewishness but to embrace it It is the roots from which we spring.http://www.christianityboard.com/60-prophe...ents-t6215.htmlcheck this out Called 2 has done a great job covering this subject for his book.PS my own personal opinon is a Messanic Jew is double blessed because he overcame his slumber by the grace of Godhe does not have to choose he gets his cake and gets to eat it too.

Heres a article for youDID ALL THE JEWISH PEOPLE REJECT THE MESSIAH? By Rabbi Jeff Adler Recently a Jewish man sent a question to a Messianic Jewish rabbi regarding the correlation between the Messianic Jewish Movement and the non-Jewish evangelical Christian church. Contrary to what many have been led to believe, faith in Yeshua as the promised Messiah was first recognized by the Jewish people. There were at least a million Jewish people that acknowledged Him as the Messiah; the One sent to atone for the sins of the people. He fulfilled many prophecies from the T’nakh, such as rising from the grave, subsequently drawing large numbers of non-Jewish people to Himself (Isaiah 42 and 49). As a matter of fact, the Messianic Movement is the only Jewish movement in history to attract Gentiles in mass. This is important in light of the promise to Abraham in Genesis 12:3 that “. . . all the families of the earth would be blessed through him.” There is also a prophetic promise in Jeremiah 31:31-40 that there would be a New Covenant (B’rit Haddashah), and more efficacious than the previous one. The terms and specifics of this New Covenant are recorded in what is generally termed the New Testament, written by Jewish authors and historically and archaeologically attested as accurate. One example among many is the body of work by the great British archaeologist Sir William Ramsey. Ramsey was a skeptic in regard to the historicity of the New “Testament." He decided to validate his skepticism by tracing Luke's account of the travels of Paul in Acts and attack its historicity."For example, Luke refers to a figure named Galileo, serving as the Proconsul of Achaia. Critics had for centuries scoffed at Luke’s account, as there had never been a record found of the existence of Galileo, even more importantly the office of Proconsul. At Delphi, Ramsey discovered the “Galileo Inscription”, which specifically mentioned not only the office of Proconsul, but, that Galileo had served there in that office during Paul’s time. The senate had created that office with special powers to handle areas of insurrection. This pattern of reliability caused Ramsey to move from skeptic to believer. Lastly, concerning the issue of non-Jewish expressions of the Messianic faith, the New Covenant teaches that the Gentiles are grafted into the Jewish olive tree, not the converse. Naturally, it makes sense that they would find means to express their faith in terms communicative with their own culture; however that does not change the history that many Jewish people of the day did, in fact, accept Him first!

To put it in this post. No one else (but Jesus) has fulfilled the Messianic prophecies. And those that have been fulfilled (by Jesus) do show that Jesus is the true Christ, Lord, and Savior.
In another article on this site we have discussed 61 major Messianic Prophecies fulfilled in Yeshua Ha'Natseret. In this article we will demonstrate the mathematical probably that Yeshua’s fulfillment of just these 61 prophecies proves with absolute certainly that Yeshua, and only Yeshua, is the Messiah of Israel.A common objection to using fulfilled prophecy to demonstrate that Yeshua is the Messiah is that “you could find at least some of these prophecies fulfilled in Kennedy, King, Nasser, etc.”While it may be true that you could find one or two prophecies fulfilled in other men, you most certainly could not find more than a very few. In this article we will conclusively demonstrate that you absolutely, positively will not find any man except Yeshua who has fulfilled all these 61 major prophecies. (We won’t bother to extrapolate the mathematical probability of any one man fulfilling 324 prophecies; the number is beyond the capacity of the human mind to comprehend.) In fact, if you can find someone other than Yeshua, either living or dead, who can fulfill only half of the predictions concerning Messiah that are given in Messiah in Both Testaments by Fred John Meldau, the Christian Victory Publishing Company of Denver is ready to give you a $1,000 reward. There are a lot of men in the universities who could some extra cash, but the offer has been standing for nearly 30 years without a single taker!H. Harold Hartzler, of the American Scientific Affiliation, Goshen College, in the foreword of Peter Stoner's book, Science Speaks, writes: “The manuscript for Science Speaks has been carefully reviewed by a committee of the American Scientific Affiliation members and by the Executive Council of the same group and has been found, in general, to be dependable and accurate in regard to the scientific material presented. The mathematical analysis included is based upon principles of probability which are thoroughly sound and Professor Stoner has applied these principles in a proper and convincing way.”The following probabilities are taken from Peter Stoner’s work in Science Speaks to show that coincidence is ruled out by the science of probability. The analysis is concerned with the following eight prophecies:1. Messiah is to be born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2; fulfilled in Matt. 2:1-7; John 7:42; Luke 2:47).2. Messiah is to be preceded by a Messenger (Isaiah 40:3; Malachi 3:1; fulfilled in Matthew 3:1-3; 11:10; John 1:23; Luke 1:17).3. Messiah is to enter Jerusalem on a donkey (Zechariah 9:9; fulfilled in Luke 35-37; Matthew 21:6-11).4. Messiah is to be betrayed by a friend (Psalms 41:9; 55:12-14; fulfilled in Matthew 10:4; 26:49-50; John 13:21).5. Messiah is to be sold for 30 pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:12; fulfilled in Matthew 26:15; 27:3).6. The money for which Messiah is sold is to be thrown “to the potter” in G-d’s house (Zechariah 11:13; fulfilled in Matthew 27:5-7).7. Messiah is to be silent before His accusers (Isaiah 53:7; fulfilled in Matthew 27:12).8. Messiah is to be executed by crucifixion as a thief (Psalm 22:16; Zechariah 12:10; Isaiah 53:5,12; fulfilled in Luke 23:33; John 20:25; Matthew 27:38; Mark 15:27,28).Stoner says that by applying the modern science of probability to just these eight prophecies, “… We find that the chance that any man might have lived down to the present time and fulfilled all eight prophecies is 1 in 1017.” That would be one in 100,000,000,000,000,000. In order for us to be able to comprehend this staggering probability, Stoner illustrates it by supposing that:“… we take 1017 silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas. They will cover all of the state two feet deep. Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly, all over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can travel as far as he wishes, but he must pick up one silver dollar and say that this is the right one. What chance would he have of getting the right one? Just the same chance that the prophets would have had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all come true in any one man, from their day to the present time, providing they wrote in their own wisdom.“Now these prophecies were either given by inspiration of G-d or the prophets just wrote them as they thought they should be. In such a case the prophets had just one chance in 1017 of having them come true in any man, but they all came true in Christ [Mashiach].“This means that the fulfillment of these eight prophecies alone proves that G-d inspired the writing of those [eight] prophecies to a definiteness which lacks only one chance in 1017 of being absolute.” [Stoner, Peter W. Science Speaks. Chicago: Moody Press, 1963, pp 100-107.]Stoner considers 48 prophecies and says, “… We find the chance that any one man fulfilled all 48 prophecies to be 1 in 10157.“This is a really large number and it represents an extremely small chance. Let us try to visualize it. The silver dollar, which we have been using, is entirely too large. We must select a smaller object. The electron is about as small an object as we know of. It is so small that it will take 2.5 times 1015 of them laid side by side to make a line, single file, one inch long. If we were going to count the electrons in this line one inch long, and counted 250 each minute, and if we counted day and night, it would take us 19,000,000 years to count just the one-inch line of electrons. If we had a cubic inch of these electrons and we tried to count them it would take us, counting steadily 250 each minute, 19,000,000 times 19,000,000 times 19,000,000 [nineteen million times nineteen million times nineteen million] or 6.9 times 1021 years.“With that introduction, let us go back to our chance of 1 in 10157. Let us suppose that we are taking this number of electrons, marking one, and thoroughly stirring it into the whole mass, then blindfolding a man and letting him try to find the right one. What chance has he of finding the right one? What kind of a pile will this number of electrons make? They make an inconceivably large volume.” [ibid., pp 109,110]The chances of finding the correct electron out of the pile of electrons that Stoner uses for this last illustration is something on the order of picking one single correct electron out of all of the electrons in all the known mass of the entire known universe.Such is the chance of any one man fulfilling any 48 prophecies. Yet Yeshua Ha'Natseret fulfilled not just 48 prophecies, not just 61 prophecies, but more than 324 individual prophecies that the Prophets wrote concerning the Mashiach.

"So when they had come together, they asked him, 'Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?' He said to them, 'It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority." Acts 1:6-7 (ESV)"Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword." Matthew 10:34 (ESV)"He said to them, 'But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one." Luke 22:36 (ESV)"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12 (ESV)"and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,"Ephesians 6:17 (ESV)"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.'Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.'"Matthew 24:6-14 (ESV)

Jesus Christ will indeed fulfill all the Messianic prophecies the "next time he drops by"The first time he dropped by he was born in a barn , riding on a donkey and hanging on a cross. Not very glorious when it comes to things Messianic. Not very glamorous to follow a Guy like him. To follow someone like him you have to "really believe". No phony followers here. When he comes back the next time , he will be the Biggest of the Big Guy's. He will come with all Power and Glory. He will be seen as the Great One of Messianic prophecy. There will be no questioning whether he is the Great Messiah. No doubt whatsoever.Absolutely everyone would follow him at this point , however , it will be too late to decide by then. People will have already made their choice. You have to think about that for a minute. He will indeed fulfill all the prophecies of The Messiah.Arnie M.

conditional prophesy!
What Conditional Prophecy? Where?
Jesus Christ will indeed fulfill all the Messianic prophecies the "next time he drops by"
Evidence may suggest that there may not be a second coming. I mean why would Jesus not fulfill these before his death. Again why was these not in the Bible?
He will indeed fulfill all the prophecies of The Messiah.
Why were they not filled before his death? And where did the term Second Coming come from?
Recently a Jewish man sent a question to a Messianic Jewish rabbi regarding the correlation between the Messianic Jewish Movement and the non-Jewish evangelical Christian church.
Kriss this is odd since traditional Judaism does not recognize the Messanics because they are Jews that have except Jesus as the Messiah.

Because He needed to die for our sins open salvation to all that did exist before that he was the hebrew God the gentiles had no God persay God is the God of allnot the few his word had to be preached around the World to all so all could chose whether or not to claim their salvation even the Jews were not forgiven their sin sacrafice just covered it up. There would have been no true forgivness for anybody.

You have basically given us appox. 3 to 4 things that werent accopmlished an I have doubts about one of them we given you 60 to a hundred that were you he promises to return before the generation that saw Israel reformed as a nation for the first time in 1900 + years which was 60 years ago he says before that generation dies he will return What part of these Words dont you believe?10And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. 11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
