----(Website I went to said this)Uncaused CauseObjection: If something cannot bring itself into existence, then God cannot exist since something had to bring God into existence. Answer: Not so. You cannot have an infinite regression of causes lest an infinity be crossed (which cannot happen). Therefore, there must be a single uncaused, cause.------** I read this just now and thought hmm this kind of contradicts what they said against atheism.See they basically said something can not bring itself into existence. Then they go on and say thefore it must be a single uncaused cause. Does that mean that God just happened? So why could the universe just not happen. DO NOT GET ME WRONG. I fully believe in God and he created the earth and the heavens etc. Now your answer, how was God created. It did say he was the alpha and omega the beggining and the end. Anybody who is willing to answer, please do so.This question was inspired by a friend, and this website who slighty contradicted itself.

Calling the infinite existence "eternal" (Nitzchi in Hebrew) refers to G-d's future existence. Because G-d was never brought into being, there is nothing that can bring G-d out of being. A table has the possibility of going out of existence by the same or similar agency that brought it into being. Similarly, as the moon came into being due to a combination of forces of nature, those forces could also lead to the destruction of the moon.
This comes from a class that I am taking on line here http://www.aish.com/pathways/jewishThought...he_Infinite.aspI know most people here are not Jewish but I think this fits what your asking or it may help...

Our minds aren't able to comprehend the reality of the answer. That's the way I figure it. It's even hard to figure out the trinity for most people.

No our minds are not able to comprehend this at all Wakka, but what do you think. Because going with the matter can not be destroyed or created, then how is God there. I have left it at he was always there, and will always be there.

But seriously, nothing created God. God just was, is, and will be. Its something that we can't comprehend because its beyond time and our lifes revolve around time. This is something we must accept in faith. Its that simple

Yes,see I believe trying to comprehend that God has always been here is what many people have a hard time they search for the answer all of their lives, then they have wasted a life they could of been serving God. It is kind of like don't ask what is in your food, you rather just have faith it is good. People that search for the ingredients may never find them, but those that have faith for it to be good will. This causes a lot of lacking in faith

God made everything this also means he would of had to even make Time,so before time was invented was start so God was there before time,so yes God was always there,it is really deep and hard for us humans to understand...

Ok. Well,, the weird thing about God is that He exists outside of time right. If something exists within time, it MUST have a cause. Not so with something (or someone) which exists outside of time. Just look at this source:http://christiananswers.net/q-aig/aig-c039.html "1. Everything which has a beginning has a cause.1 2. The universe has a beginning. 3. Therefore the universe has a cause. Its important to stress the words in bold type. The universe requires a cause because it had a beginning, as will be shown below. God, unlike the universe, had no beginning, so doesn't need a cause. In addition, Einstein's general relativity, which has much experimental support, shows that time is linked to matter and space. So time itself would have begun along with matter and space.Since God, by definition, is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time. Therefore He is not limited by the time dimension He created, so has no beginning in time God is the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity (Isaiah 57:15). Therefore He doesn't have a cause. In contrast, there is good evidence that the universe had a beginning. This can be shown from the Laws of Thermodynamics, the most fundamental laws of the physical sciences. * 1st Law: The total amount of mass-energy in the universe is constant. * 2nd Law: The amount of energy available for work is running out, or entropy is increasing to a maximum. If the total amount of mass-energy is limited, and the amount of usable energy is decreasing, then the universe cannot have existed forever, otherwise it would already have exhausted all usable energy the heat death of the universe. For example, all radioactive atoms would have decayed, every part of the universe would be the same temperature, and no further work would be possible."The article basically says that God created time -- along with space and matter (and this means that He is OBVIOUSLY not bound by it). Because He does not exist within time's framework, He does NOT have a cause. The universe, however, DOES exist within time's framework, therefore it does have a cause (given by God of course).

Here it is.Since the 4th dimension (time) doesn't affect God, therefore he's always existed. With our way of life (3D), everything exists around time (materials, etc.). To have something that has always existed wouldn't make sense for us. Our minds aren't able to comprehend. If we become eternal, then I'm sure it would make some sense if God reveals it to us.(RaddSpencer;45669)

The Lord doesn't have a physical form. So the laws of science do not apply. God can create Himself a flesh. He has in the past. What really blows my mind away is that God created everything for us to take care of (and for His glory of course). The universe is a gigantic place with uncountable area. There are even parts of space that we might never uncover. God made that all for us.

Our finite minds cannot comprehend how God can have ALWAYS existed and NEVER had a beginning, but that's the way it is. I'm just thankful that He's not an evil God--like many of the man-made gods. Of course, we don't have to worry about them since they're not real.

God's very name reveals to us, how unique He is. He says His name is Yahweh, or I AM. He ....just....is!Basically, we are matter, and time. And time has to have a beginning, for without a beginning, there is no time. But God, is on another timeline. His timeline is without time, and has a concept of Eternity which only inhabitants of this plane can understand the feeling of.USBeginning................................................EndO-------------------------------------------| Time will eventually end, but God will never. He has no beginning, OR, end. He is without time, He is eternal.GodNo beginning........................................No EndI know its difficult to grasp
