Provide scripture that says they accomplished it.

There's the evidence of the whole existing New Testament! And there's the abundant conclusive Scriptures, like Revelation 14:6,7. And there is the Christian Faith among all "true Believers" in obedience to Jesus' OWN WORD over all the earth that say and prove the apostles - Jesus' sent ones - accomplished that which HE sent them out to accomplish in the POWER - ALL POWER - HIS! It cannot not have been accomplished.

You're not even close to proving they ever even STARTED it. Revelation 14:6 is about an angel preaching the everlasting gospel, which is there is only one God, who is the creator (see vs 7) - no mention of Christ - totally different than the gospel of the Kingdom. In Mark 16:15 , for the Great Commission, the 11 were told to preach the gospel which was the ONLY gospel Christ preached, the Gospel of the Kingdom, the same Gospel the 12 preached throughout Acts. This is pretty much proven in Acts 1:6, where the 11 asked Christ if Israel's Kingdom would then be restored. This was a viable question, since they had just received a 40 day Bible study, by Jesus Christ, concerning this Kingdom. The upcoming Jewish Kingdom, and entrance into it, was the focus in the Gospels and Acts, but this was conditional on Israel's acceptance of Christ as their promised Messiah.

Your reasoning is EXTREMELY WEAK - essentially non-existent!

The only people found in the Bible that were ever given orders to do the great Commission were the 12 - not today's church - not angels - ONLY the 12 apostles, period - Search and See! And, the resurrected 12 will be the ONLY ones to eventually accomplish it. Christ never told them to do it immediately.

Don't want to, or can't? You have yet to say anything that can be, without a doubt, backed up with scripture. You've given vague, meaningless responses to most everything that I've seen. Surely you don't expect anyone to agree with you. Usually, there are only 2 things you can do on a forum - argue or teach. From what you've said so far, you'd better stick to arguing.

It does say nobody knows that 'day' or hour, so assuming the Sabbath would be incorrect.

Just sayin'.

Therefore at any time on "The Day of the Lord" Christ may and will come again.

Why and how would it be 'incorrect'? It does say Christ will come again in the Day of the Lord, does it not? Or don't you regard The Sabbath of the LORD GOD The Lord's Day of Jesus Christ our Lord and God?

The Day of the Lord is the 1000 year Millennium. It certainly isn't one human day. Christ's second Coming will be the first event. No OT prophecy has been fulfilled since Israel ceased to exist, in God's eyes, in about 63AD. The purpose of this present 2000 year Gentile period is to call out those who will be resurrected to the Heavenly Places, where Christ ascended to and now sits at the right hand of God, Ephesians 1:20 (Christ), Ephesians 2:6 (Us-same place).

Christ said in Matthew 23:39 that He wouldn't return until Israel accepted Him. Therefore, since there is no Israel today that could accept Christ, there is absolutely no possibility of His return, until this period is over, in about 2063 at the earliest.

You have a beautiful family, by the way.

You have a beautiful family, by the way.

You: 'The Day of the Lord is the 1000 year Millennium.'
Nonsense; but more important, non-Scripture!

You: 'It certainly isn't one human day.'
That makes sense, and more important, is "according to the Scriptures ... the third day", That Day of Christ's Resurrection from the dead and therefore of ours as well it shall be at his coming again.

You: 'the Heavenly Places, where Christ ascended to and now sits at the right hand of God'
Now here's one to get your brains around. I am telling you God raised Christ and exalted Him "in the Heavenly Places, right inside the grave of Joseph hewn in rock on earth - right, "at the right hand of God", where, and "WHEN God raising Christ from the dead by the exceeding greatness of His Power exalted Him at his own Right Hand : HIS HEAVENLY MAJESTY"!
And Isaiah confirms,
15For thus saith The High and Lofty One that inhabiteth eternity,
15Τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ ὕψιστος ὁ ἐν ὑψηλοῖς κατοικῶν τὸν αἰῶνα,

whose Name is The Most Holy Place,
ἅγιος ἐν ἁγίοις ὄνομα αὐτῷ,

The Lord Most High and Holy being rested up again,
κύριος ὕψιστος ἐν ἁγίοις ἀναπαυόμενος

Paul also, Romans 1
3Concerning his Son (Jesus Christ our Lord)
(concerning Him) which was made |of the seed of David |according to the flesh
(concerning Him which was) declared |the Son of God with power |according to the Spirit
(concerning) HIS HOLINESS BY THE RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD:
(concerning) Jesus Christ our Lord
By whom we have received grace ... for his name

You: 'Christ said in Matthew 23:39 that He wouldn't return until Israel accepted Him. Therefore, since there is no Israel today that could accept Christ, there is absolutely no possibility of His return, until this period is over, in about 2063 at the earliest.'
Speculation! In my Taal we say, 'spekskiet' - 'shoot with pig fat'.

I don't think I've ever seen a poorer explanation of scripture. You spiritualize scripture, a method that never finds the truth. You make your own "truth" where none exists. You did use scripture, but none you used is applicable to the situation.

How would you interpret Matthew 23:39 , or Acts of the Apostles 3:19-20 ? Don't both say that Christ won't return until Israel repents and accepts Christ

Two questions:
1- Who is your apostle?
2- In order to be approved into God and have no need to feel ashamed, according to 2Timothy 2:15 , you must rightly divide (make a straight cut, correctly Cut) God's Word. When you do correctly cut God's Word, where exactly do you cut it, and why? One single cut is implied in the Greek (rather than chopping) and one is all that's needed.

If you can't answer these 2 questions accurately, nothing you can possibly say concerning Bible truth for today, has any value. It's impossible to understand your present position without rightly cutting God's Word, the keyword here being "rightly" or "correctly" If you can't answer #2, the verse says, indirectly, that you're not approved unto God.

sorry GE, but you are adding to the v, and i do not agree with your Jesus returning tomorrow scenario wadr

Christ has never left us
We are the Body of Christ
Christ is either revealed, or stays concealed
imo

"Return to Me, and I will return to you" I see you state this allot Mark. Think I mighta asked you once what u meant by it, and did not quite understand your explanation.

"Christ has never left us" I believe this “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).

And something else, if u would clarify :) You do or do not believe there is a second coming in His Full Glory and wrath? Lol...just curious ♥

hmm, my point there is usually that the only "return" one can find in Scripture is that one, not the future one that most everyone believes in
And something else, if u would clarify :) You do or do not believe there is a second coming in His Full Glory and wrath?
lol, well, yes and no, sorry. Depends upon when one perceives their death to occur i guess mostly. But the literal one you are referencing is pretty obviously what the whole world believes is the Christian program, right, whether they personally believe it or not? No, i am confident that no one will ever literally see Jesus "coming," and imo Scripture is even quite plain about it, while at the same time providing a proxy for Mercury or whoever, Apollo, for the cult of Sol ppl, those who believe what the rest of the world believes about them.

strange to me that the same ppl who insist Jesus is God are the ones saying that God needs to come back to some place that apparently He is not currently omnipresent in or something. Really not strange at all, just a two-eyed perspective v a one-eyed one imo

now i do believe that Christ is coming again, don't get me wrong ok

So, you believe that possibly Mark 12:26 already happened? "And then will they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." Mark 13:26

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
John 14:1-3

How do you understand the bolded parts, they seem to mean pretty much the same as He will "return" and will be "seen". JMO :)

"Depends upon when one perceives their death to occur i guess mostly. "
You mean when we die physically and our spirit leaves our dead body and goes to one of two, three or even four places? Lol -Hell is a tough one."

"now i do believe that Christ is coming again, don't get me wrong ok"
And, how do you see Him coming back?

hmm, i'm omitting the Mark 12 ref here as a typing error, lemme know if i messed up there, and as for the other i can only say that 14"When you see the abomination that causes desolation standing where it should not" (let the reader understand), "then those in Judea must flee to the mountains! is prolly not very well understood by most readers, who will naturally seek a literal fulfillment of the verse. So imo the path there is to hear what is really being said when some oracle labels the abomination literally, be it Nero or the pope--i think it was Nero anyway, the 70ad thing?--and recognize that then is when you are supposed to be fleeing! Imo the Abomination was me thinking i was qualified to give answers and make determinations, "standing where i should not."

ah, with one eye certainly, you will see Him come down in the same way you saw Him go up! So iow when you find yourself among Galileans standing there looking up into the sky, obv with 2 eyes, prolly time to pause and reflect

hmm. As a function of my hopefully improved vision, having plucked one eye out, is the best answer i could really give i guess. Of course children raised on santa claus who want to be immortal like all the pharaohs and Romans did are not going to be very satisfied with that, so we need some clouds right, and there would have to be some manip of death, when do we really die, is that death the same as those who are walking around "dead" now according to Scripture? etc
So the first death and the second death are employed, and we tend to forget that physical death is irrelevant to God, only relevant to us imo. We meet Christ in the air when we change our minds imo, and only God knows when that will be

What are the clouds with which or in which he appears? Are they simply rain bearing water vapor filled gatherings of air or are they people? If people how did they get to be with him instead of being with those looking up into the sky?

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us," Heb 12:1

Recall that when Moses led the people, they were all led by the cloud pillar by day and the fire pillar by night. How would that relate to this of which you speak?
