The Lord chastises those whom He loves. Is that how the verse goes?Ever wonder when you will EVER get beyond some sins? Get over one and here's another one you didn't even know you had!If you haven't guessed, He's convicted me of something...a good AND bad experience...

The BF of someone I knew of cheated on her. He has some condition that makes him unable to blink and people were making fun of him. I said I understood why they want to make fun of him. When people are hurting, that's what they do. I even joined in. But then even some nonChristians said that wasn't cool. And while on one hand, I think he deserved it!, OTOH I feel guilty. Most importantly I don't want to misrepresent Christ.

Shame shame...:naughty:Looks like the Holy Spirit hog-tied your spirit and now you are feeling the guilt."11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, 12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in."Prov 3:11-12Be careful how you treat your fellow man (especially your enemy). Don't delight in other people's suffering, but do this:27"But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,28bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.29Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever takes away your coat, do not withhold your shirt from him either.30Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.31 Treat others the same way you want them to treat you." Luke 6:27-31"17Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. 18If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,'[a]says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on hishead.'21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."Romans 12:17-21How about you go and apologize to him? Ask him for forgiveness -- be the bigger person.

No matter he if "deserved it" or not,you should always be letting Christ shine through you, that was not cool at all. Somebody should not be judged by that, espicially if they can not help it. The man made a mistake. We should forgive him,so we to can be forgiven. You did misrepresent, and that guilt is God,you realized Jesus would not do that. You took a chance of representing God or following the others.I to have done it,but I try not to,I stick up for the person even if they deserve it. I know how this feels I have had it done, now that I am a born again Christian I would never want to do that. Just ask God for forgiveness!!!

That's not really nice now is it. Luke 6:31 (New King James Version)And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

Now, now everyone. He already said he was convicted, he doesn't need us telling him he did something wrong. Let's keep our posts constructive, and get the logs out of our eyes before we work on the specks in our brothers!Let's praise God that we are convicted and not condemned, eh? Romans 8:1-2 "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."I would ask God for forgiveness and the strength to ask it of the person you mocked. God will forgive you, and with your heart in the right place, so will the person you mocked.God's forgiveness, love and mercy never run dry!
