I do not believe in the rapture but if all the good people were raptured out of here then how would the poor sods survive.
I would like all the people who hate Trump live together and the Trump supporters go live in a parallel universe, the ones who hate Trump would fail badly and live in a Nazi Communist State where they can have the degenerate government tell them what to do, because they can't think for themselves.

Doing jury duty we do not have to swear on the Bible now and one of this type is on with 12 of us and this was a Child Molesting case and this grub says that he is not going to let this man go to jail because he is too old to go to jail. what a degenerate ! if he is not going to abide by the rules he should not come up. I have people shirking there duty all their lives in everything they do, it's a life long hobby to them as the world owes them a living, so they claim.

For along time now I have withdrawn from most things. Becoming a genuine recluse as I let fear reign in my life. To the extent that it was sin. But God has not given us a spirit of fear. So when it is dominating me, I know that I have gone off course in my thinking. "As a man thinketh..." It got really bad. Never unmindful of the major news events and prophecy, I let it enter into even individual one on one relationships. Mistrusting people rather than walking in love toward them. Not hating, but just not trusting or giving them the benefit of the doubt many times. I long thought hate was the opposite of love, but I have heard some compelling teachings that actually fear is the opposite of love. As perfect love casts out fear. (It does a 'number' on hate too!)

Having said that, I am under no illusion that we, as the Church, are necessarily going to escape the difficulties to come completely. Things could get worse before they get even worse. We are ultimately going to escape the Wrath (Jesus took that too), but where do things go before that fully kicks in? Things are already quite beyond where I would have 'called it' sometime back. There are truly worrisome things out there. This is plain to see. But this only confirms prophecy so we know where things are headed. And ever more rapidly it seems. Plenty of things to be concerned about to the natural mind. The root cause of the opioid epidemic?? I just learned to quit worrying about the specifics so much. It can be maddening. But what is going to happen is going to happen. Most fortunately, this is completely under God's control.

What should we be doing in the meantime? Comforting one another. Looking up, but not so much that we walk off the sidewalk into traffic. Thinking on whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, things of good report. Undoubtedly this is becoming increasingly difficult as the days grow more evil. You're not alone in that. If the news reports wreck your peace then turn it off. Feed on something else. There is much truth to "you are what you consume [eat]."

It will be over with soon. I cannot imagine things going on and on given where things are at currently. It all else fails, take a nap. It is better to be at peace and asleep than awake but distraught.

We are secure in Him.
