The Mark of the Beast/ The Seal of God

Sorry if this is slightly off topic or not exactly the point of the thread. But I was always under the impression that God's seal on us was the Holy Spirit. Also I have heard so many theories as to what the Mark of the Beast is, and who/what the AntiChrist could be (from the EU, to the Pope, ect.) that it could make your head spin. Since it is in the future and NO ONE (excpet God) knows exactly what will go down, isn't it pointless to argue about it?
You know, that's an excellent question and I hope I have an adequate answer. Bible prophecy is nothing more than the revealing of history before it actually happens. Furthermore, Jesus Christ warned us to watch, take heed, and be not deceived.I think discussing things such as Bible Prophecy is important because, by the free flow of information, opinions and convictions regarding scripture we are apt to be more educated, more assute, and more informed than those that have no mind to pay attention or care about the signs of the times.
I think that as believers we should focus on our seal. Because thats what actually pertains to us.

But God does indeed have a specific seal that He gives to those that desire truth, knowledge and wisdom and the seal is His Word and specifically His Law.The servants of God are sealed in their foreheads:Revelation 7:3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.The Words of God and His Holy Law, the 10 Commandments are seen as being as "frontlets between the eyes." Actually drifter you have it pretty close to right the Mark of God is the seal of God in your fore head (whats in your forehead? your brain/mind) the Mark in the hand is a Hebrew idiom(slang) meaning to do the work of. So it means if you have God/Christ sealed in your mind and you do the work of the lord.you are Marked by God So what is the opposite of this?To not know God in your mind(forehead) and do to the work of the devil(mark in your hand) this is the Mark of the Beast.now everyone will say but it says you cant buy or sell, trueAntichrist will demand your allgence to him to be able to work but God says he can not kill you. God always takes care of his own so no need to fear. Keep the seal of God and never take the seal/Mark of the beast and you will be fine

Yes Wakka thats what I was saying in my post the right hand means to do the work/actions of the antichrist and the forehead means your beliefs/thoughts if they are not on God antichrist will cause you to sin. So you got it pretty close good work

Sorry Jenn but depictions of Angels as women are not right. What is in heaven we do not know but if there are female Angels we will have to see.All Angels in the Word are of a maculine character and appeared as men and were often just seen as men. Gods truth on the subject clearly shows Angels to be of the masculine character. Im really sorry but it is the truth. Not 1 single reference to Angels as female.

Well, that's an interesting take, but I don't believe God listens to those that purposely, wilfully and knowingly break His laws. I think there are a few verses that bear that out.2 Chronicles 7:14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."If" and "then" clearly implies changing in lue of blessing.Psalm 66:18If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:Clear here the Psalmist is telling us that if we regard iniquity, i.e. lawlessness, God will not hear, or listen to us.Hebrews 10:26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,Even Paul was quite clear on the matter. If we continue to sin, even after we know better, then there remains no more sacrifice for sins. That's fairly stark isn't it?

God made the sabbath for man to enjoy. God didn't make the sabbath for man to forget.

Well, that would mean Jesus was a 'law breaker' and thus, as a law breaker he would have been a sinner, and if Jesus was a sinner then he couldn't have been the spotless Lamb of God.Jesus never broke the sabbath.

The sabbath is found in the 10 commandments. And was instituted prior to the law of Moses. See Exodus 16.Better yet, read up on some of the articles on Remnant of God sometime. They are quite helpful.

The mark on the right hand would be us reaching out to those who do not know Christ. And the mark on our forehead is God's wisdom.

I remembered a while back that God put a mark on Cain (forehead I believe). I was just wondering how/if that relates to this. Its been a while since I read that story though.
