Alrighty.. The Revolution was started about a month and a half ago and has gained 24 members since then due to God's grace. Our focus is to deepen our member's faith in Christ through many tools.. If possible, we need active members and PRAYER.. I've told our staff members there that prayer is the strongest tool against anything because you are speaking directly to the Creator of the universe.. Obviously that is a big deal! Anyway.. (Got off on a bunny chase.. ) New members and prayer is very welcome.. Also, If anyone visits the forum from this site, give me a rating and a helpful suggestion! Ratings would be out of 10 (10 being the highest) and then something I could use to improve your first impression. Anything would be helpful! Thanks so much! The Revolution~

The site looks good. The only thing I would mention is the color scheme. I couldn't look at the forum for too long as the red on black was hard on my eyes and gave me a headache. Others may have this problem too.

Actually I have found that most of my members like this color scheme.. Arete, my first member, actually appreciated it because he spends most of his time online (for work) and this relieves his eyes.. Later on in the Forum's life I will put it up to a vote on which sort of color scheme the members would like to use but for right now I would hate to change it just due to the support from our members now. I believe only one member is if-y about the color scheme.. I like it just because it is a break from the normal light blue and white of normal Christian Forums.

Please don't get me wrong. I do like the color scheme.

It looks fresh. It was just that it was hard for my eyes and I didn't know if you were aware that some people may have trouble with it thats all. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

oh it's cool.. I was just explaining my choice of color scheme.. Oh and I like your sig. "Desire the meat" I really am right now.. (and I am not talking about steak.. lol.. )Anyway. I'm just taking any suggestion seriously. I'm trying to make ANY guests feel as much at home as possible while still making The Revolution as seperate form other forums in it's style as possible... Because it has been said.. "It has been tried before.." and I say. "Not by me" God is one my side and I feel that as long as the forum is in His will, He will stay there. (And right now with a sudden jump to 60 guests a day I feel the forum is somewhere in His will.. ) Anyway. I'll stop.. I probably talked you to death!

Good on you for sticking to the forum. I feel you have the start of a good forum. You are keeping the right person in charge of the forum - God.

Just a thought but is there any way you could give people a choice of color schemes? Some forums I am on give you a default color scheme and a choice of another one. Your red and black one could be your default one. I hope you don't think I am butting in as I don't mean to.

oh no it's fine! I have been thinking about that.. freeforume.org doesn't really allow multiple logos like some other forum hosts.. And I don't have enough income personally to buy a domain name SO.. It won't look good.. Ok. Just to make sure you know, if/when you get signed up just go to your profile link to the top.. Close to the bottom you should see "Board Style:" Just change that to intestity. Or what ever.. Intensity doesn't appeal to my tastes but it looks better than some..

Hi Jason. Congratulations on realizing that Christianity does need a shakeup (Hebrews 12:26, Haggai 2:21). Humanity (including Christianity) has always been under the "strong delusion" because we find the truth to be 'uncomfortable'. The first thing Christians have to get used to is real objective, absolute, and unadulterated TRUTH (2 Thessalonians 2:10, not just learn to ACCEPT it, but develop a passion for it and a disdain for SUBJECTIVE truth/bias). Learning to insist on absolute truth in what a person believes may seem to be just a step of acedemia, but first,...TRUTH in communication (when talking) is necessary because truth must be a part of the CHARACTER/spirit (we are to be transformed by the renewal of the MIND, Romans 12:2) and walk as children of LIGHT, Ephesians 5:8, 9,...God is light. What makes this so difficult is that all of Christianity has been trained to love the scholars, pastors, commentaries, and try to put God in easy to understand 'formulas' and scientific text (empiricism). Accepting the truth means to discard these habits of intellectual and scholarly discourse that we've learned to enjoy for the sake of VAIN ego (vanity). But it is also VERY necessary that we each come to know who we are (what kind of person we are). "I am who I am" (Exodus 3:14) wants us to be able to identify with Him, so He tells us that there should be no "self abasement" (no abatement/abandonment of self, Colossians 2:18 and 23). A good sense of "SELF" is not only necessary for SELF discipline, but also for our PERSONal relationship with Jesus (but also so that HE can have a personal relationship with the real you) and for our own TRUE happiness (many people don't know the real SELF and are riddled with insecurities). Many people (including Christians) constantly put on phony smiles and phony personalities because of these insecurities (because they don't know who they are in Christ), but God is no respecter of persons/personalities, He only has regard for a person's true NATURE. So strong has the "strong delusion" been all throughout history that many of the truths in scripture have been ignored, such as..."WORD OF TRUTH" (Ephesians 1:13, 2 Timothy 2:15, John 14:6)."SWORD OF THE SPIRIT" (Ephesians 6:17)."WALK BY THE SPIRIT" (Galatians 5:16 and 25).abolished the sin laws (Ephesians 2:15).live according to "THE LAW OF LIBERTY" (James 1:25 and 2:12)."rivers of living water" (John 7:38, Rev. 7:16).conscience purified (Hebrews 9:14).and much more that we can learn if we "HEAR" (John 10:27) so we can "enter by the door" (John 10:1). Thank you for recognizing that Christianity does need a change today (but you know who got you moving in the "last days", Acts 2:17).

I fully understand not having much money.
