True. But there's no problem. Jacob and Israel are used interchangeably in Scripture (to designate the nation of Israel) and in fact that is a direct modified quotation from Isaiah 59:20: And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

You might be able to find comic books that mention a place called "Zion" or maybe in some books of fiction but in the real world there never was a "real" place called "Zion".

the truth will set you free :)-

We could also say that black is white, up is down, hot is cold, and turn everything on its head. But a diligent study of Scripture leads to clarity, not confusion.

If you truly want to understand what God has laid out in the Bible, you must start with the Abrahamic Covenant, and all its reiterations throughout Scripture. So you've got your homework cut out for you.
Please consider; “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” (2 Corinthians 1:20) (KJV 1900)

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” (Hebrews 1:1–2) (KJV 1900)

Carnal Israel forfeited all the promises and will inherit them only by accepting Christ (Romans 11).

If what you are saying is that the Church is "spiritual" Israel, where is that justified in Scripture? Israel is called Jehovah's wife. The Church is called the Bride of Christ so, I certainly see a distinction.

Who is Abraham's seed? It is Jesus.

“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” (Galatians 3:16) (KJV 1900)

And believers in Christ.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:28–29) (KJV 1900)

Jesus IS Israel

When Israel was a child, then I loved him, And called my son out of Egypt.” (Hosea 11:1) (KJV 1900)

15 *and [Joseph, Mary and Jesus] remained there until the death of Herod, to fulfill what the Lord had spoken through the prophet, “Out of Egypt I have called My Son.

So Matthew calls Jesus "Israel" And many times throughout the OT God refers to Israel as the people "called by My name".

Having said the above, does anyone here knows what this verse is talking about.

King James 2000 Bible

Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors.

I ask because I have no clue?
