Notice how the first two ages were under Roman political power and paganism.
The third is when the political began intertwining and replacing the official Roman paganism with the beginnings of Catholicism.
As well the churches began letting pagan beliefs creep in.
The fourth is when Catholicism took over, both politically and religiously.
The fifth Catholicism dominated and persecuted true Christians. But some rebelled in the Reformation, which was a move in the right direction still a far cry from being really Christian.
The sixth saw a rebirth of true Christians, weak as they were. Catholicism was still there and destructive.
This was a time when England broke from the Catholic Church. But not for reasons of biblical purity, but political power. Even the writing of the KJV was political.
Seventh church brought in critical thinking and growth of cults, many of which began in the sixth church.
The seventh church dominates today. Their destiny is the tribulation.
The sixth church is destined for rapture.
During each church age what is presented is the dominant feature of the age. Aspects of all the ages exist in every church age.
