When it comes to life on earth, I believe our planet was seeded just like we will plant our seed on another planet, assuming we live that long.

Just my view, take it or leave it

"I just don't have any conclusions on why on earth dinosaurs they were ever here in the first place, or any prehistoric animals...they seemed to have served no purpose.
I guess that is why I could believe that there are maybe inhabitations on some planet somewhere. It "seems' that God doesn't always 'have' to have a reason or purpose ...as with the prehistoric earth.
...whenever it was pre-Adam."
The existence of dinosaurs have always thrown me when it comes to the things of God. I cannot even imagine what His purpose could have been for them but,...God. ♥
And who's to say that God does not have some form of life on certain planets? I suppose if He wanted us to know then, He would have given it to us :)
Life on other planets without a spirit does not bother me.

But with a spirit demands the issues of Sin, salvation and the eternity. And thus I don't believe it is possible.

There is zero mention of dinosaurs in Genesis.
There is zero mention of any specific creatures in the Creation Account. So what? The FACTS -- from God's perspective -- are as follows:

1. The entire universe was created out of nothing in six days (Exodus 20:11)

2. All living creatures on land -- including Adam and Eve -- were created on the sixth day (Gen 1:24-31)

3. Only the animals taken into the Ark survived the universal Flood of Noah's day (Gen 7:15,16)

4. The Bible does not mention dinosaurs since they are irrelevant from God's perspective.

5. There are no dinosaurs today because God allowed them to become extinct.

Now paleantologists etc can and do create myths about dinosaurs and how an asteroid destroyed them etc. but that is pure conjecture. ALL THEY HAVE IS BONES.

Some claim that the term "behemoth" בְ֭הֵמֹות (ve·he·mo·vt) in Job (40:15) applies to dinosaurs, but it could just as well apply to hippos (or elephants). It simply means "a kind of animal".

There you go again pretending to refute me without first reading the material I presented to you.

Either you are afraid to read it or you think you're so superior you don't need to read it.

Read the material and respond to it. Stop just throwing stuff out and pretending it's an answer.

I think I do believe in a pre Adamic earth...which 'became without form and void' after the fall of Satan from heaven.

I heard this way back in the 80s from a friend who got it from a bible study that I did not attend. Always fascinated me and there does seem to be two creation stories in Genesis. As well as the suggestion that God started with material in Genesis 1.

I just don't have any conclusions on why on earth dinosaurs they were ever here in the first place, or any prehistoric animals...they seemed to have served no purpose.

Petroleum? Though additional biological matter is believed to create kerogen such as plankton and other biological sources. Even plants.

My 2 cents isn't worth much

Its worth as much as anybody else's.

This is my belief so you may dismiss it forthwith and carry on. If you happen to catch one please post a non-photoshopped picture with a smiling alien captioned "what, me worry"?

No caption, but a bit of a story. Not photoshopped or any other 'retouching' done to this photo that I took in November 1979. About a month or less after coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus. It was then I felt led to burn my rock & roll albums.

Among the collection were two Jimi Hendrix records. When I put the first one into the fire, I heard a blood curdling sound somewhat similar to the familiar 'creaking door' sound in a haunted house story. Maybe a bit like a scream of agony.

Not in any alphabetical order by the time I had dragged the records out to the driveway to burn them, other albums were tossed in and later I came to the second Hendrix record. Unlike any of the other records, this one too made that same creepy noise. What I started to reason out was that since he was Black and the times were what they were, they just used inferior vinyl to produce his albums. That it is was easily explained by the materials used.

But the Holy Spirit impressed upon me to snap a picture at that moment. (35mm Mamiya Sekor) Still, I only figured that this was to commemorate my new life in Christ and the passing of the old desires and habits. But when the photos were returned from the developing lab, I could not help but notice a seemingly strange image amongst the flames.

I make no claims about this. Just that the above story is true and that I have not doctored this image in any way. Most people say that they see a ghostly image in it. Looks nothing like a flame distorted image of any of the album covers that I owned at the time. I am likely to be ridiculed for this. So be it. Felt it was worth sharing. Like I say, I make no claims about it. What I do notice is some large blackened eye sockets. Not unlike the manifested images of aliens. Though they tend to be inverted pear shaped. This much more of a fat face. Always figured this was demonic and that aliens manifestations are too.

But demons inhabiting an inanimate object doesn't really make sense to me either. Again, just reporting what happened.

Oh I believe the devil can squeal!

While street witnessing late late at night during the racing season in Hot Springs, I was talking to a backslidden Christian outside of a 7-11 store. As we talked a man drove up and parked. His radio was very loud. As he went inside he turned his radio all the way up playing very loud rock music.

Knowing what was going on I asked the man did you see that? He was amazed at what had just happened. I told him the devil does not want me talking to you about Jesus so is trying to stop our discussion. I believe he was shaken by the scene.

We were temporarily given a brand new baby boy to care for after his druggie witchcraft mother abandoned him. He was only two weeks old. A strange dog would come and wake us up every night as it stood and barked. We knew it was sent. we prayed through it. Later the mother confessed she would have harmed the baby. We gave the boy to a couple that God directed us to. They had been married a far less time than us. We had been married 14 years without children. Jesus promised us he would send us a son, despite doctors tests proving my wife's inability to conceive. Two years after Jesus' promise he gave me as I prayed in tongues, the interpretation, that my wife was with child and that he had delivered on his promise. We put our son's name in a baby book that week, tuesday, October 29th,1979.
He was born June 25th, 1980. We planted that baby boy though we loved him and received a son and two daughters.

The evil one shows himself many times but the blood of Jesus and Holy Spirit anointing is our covering. I walked in dark scary places to witness but God told me to go and I was never ever afraid.

I had a total stranger cuss me out for no reason and knew where it came from.

What does the devil think of us who have Jesus? The Lord gave me this scripture showing me and I laughed.

Then the king's face grew pale and his thoughts alarmed him, and his hip joints went slack and his knees began knocking together.
Daniel 5:6 NASB

After being troubled with severe heart pains and fearful thoughts in the wee hours for weeks I was called out by a prophet in our church service for prayer for heart problems. I was prayed for and anointed for healing. The next day at work as I was climbing stairs terrible pain shot through my chest and the devil said he was going to kill me.

I ran up those stairs telling the devil if he could get past the name of Jesus and his blood he had my permission to kill me. That was forty years ago! Jesus is faithful.

Shake the serpent back into the fire and go about your business. Amen

I was getting a tire today and waiting in the waiting room. A TV going and then a gaggle of kids came all with their smart phones. Made a lot of noise, but I was blessed by it as I am almost never around any children. But I was troubled by the content I overheard them playing. They left and a little later an older man came in with his smart phone. By this time I had just sort of bent over and was praying and praising God silently with my eyes closed and hands somewhat folded. A little later this older white man starts blaring some rap music. The song literally was "white boy this and white boy that". I say that only because he was totally white. And old. Made absolutely no sense in the natural. But I knew what was going on.

I've read this in other places. An amazing awesome story. I was saved either in October or early November that year. I never wrote down the date, but I know it was a Wednesday. Your experience further related to me because the only time I have ever lived outside of Texas in my almost 60 years was from either late May or early June of 1980 within a week or two after graduating high school. I moved to Fort Smith. Stayed there until the fall of 1981. Maybe August, maybe September, not sure?

There have been a few other manifestations in my experience too. I have found myself in a few dark scary places that I was not told to go and when witnessing or just even expressing a positive attitude or opinion of God, on one occasion had one I believe was a possessed individual sort of 'hiss' at me. Those eyes. So dark and empty. They were like solid black too. The hair on the back of my hair stood up! But the Lord protected me.

Awesome! Amen. I am somewhat there right now. I have something, but have not seen a doctor yet. I am confessing and believing and doing everything in the natural that I can. Have made tremendous progress and after another two week stint of mild edema on the bottoms of my feet that seems to have resolved in just the last couple of days. The devil has attacked me more in the last month or so that in the last several years when I had become no real threat to him. Why he almost serves as a faith booster! As in "If I am bothering the wicked one that much, I MUST be doing something right!" He has no authority here in my life.

I have decided to get on with life as if no health issue exists. Not denial IMO, but faith. "To live is Christ, to die is gain." If I get taken out, the Devil doesn't win, I do!

Bless you Frank.

My wife and I are in our mid 70's and have many issues but God is faithful. Each day is a new battle to do simplest things. I wore my body out with work.

I am a native Texan and have family there in Bonham, Fannin County. My GGG grandfather was, Nathaniel T. Journey who settled in that area, fought Indian campaigns and was a Texas ranger. I love my pioneer heritage and my family became Christians.

Jesus is constantly with us and his Holy Spirit is a constant nt comfort. Things we take for granted would amaze many church goers. It's sad how many professed believers reject testimonies of his works. They cheat themselves of so much.

Prayers for you friend. We cannot live in fear, no. Our old pastor used to say if the devil isn't bothering you then examine your life.

I am originally from more east central Texas. (Not central east. The state is that big that we have to distinguish this way!) Spent the first half of my adult life up in the Dallas area. I like it up there. Wow that is some impressive legacy. One grandfather was from NW Arkansas. The other not too far from Bonham. I looked seriously at Hot Springs about 5-6 years ago when a Brother moved up that way for a year or so. Its beautiful.

Thank you for the prayers. Right back at you. In agreement. Prayers for your brother too. I remember reading about him. I've got none/nobody left. Not for a decade now. Just makes me cling to Jesus all the more.

I have been given some amazing grace to deal with the tactics of the devil that used to so easily work me over. And, of course, the peace of the Holy Spirit is truly what comforts and encourages me. The devil attacking me is like the other side of that coin of evidence.

As far as all the little green men sightings that took place between the invention of technology from WWII and later. Well, I used to carry around that 35mm camera just for the sunsets that suddenly showed up. Or anything else interesting. But now that everybody has a smart phone with cameras built in, where are all the alien pictures?? Too few cameras around we use to say. People cannot seem to eat a meal without capturing it for all to see on social media, why have sightings seemed to actually decrease!?

I must confess to seeing Legend of Boggy Creek as a kid and being scared out of my mind. Nowadays the Booger Man scares me more than the Bogey Man. Diseases and all. (hope that wasn't too crude for anyone?)

I still find demonic manifestations posing as aliens as a potential means of the great deception. If 'aliens' showed up and brought earth saving technology and endorsed a particular human as world leader, I think the masses would flock to him.

I cannot remember where I first heard it sometime back, but some (alleged) expert made the point that dinosaurs could not live in a post-flood world. That before this there was a constant mist everywhere. Much of the moisture that became the weather systems was more evenly spread and that the barometric pressure was roughly twice what it is now. Explaining both man's longevity and how huge dinosaurs with relatively small lungs could even survive at all. Wish that I could recall more about this.

Anything that generates fear is not from God. Looking at all of these things through the spirit they are generating nothing but fear.

I have spent hundreds of hours in the Arkansas outdoors here in the Ouachita Mountains, on rivers, in swamps and marshes and never encountered a monster, alien or sasquatch. The scariest things that I don't like are the snakes. We have rattlers, cottonmouths and copperheads. They are more danger than anything. We also have bears roaming around our area.

Seems people enjoy being afraid and getting scared. God delivered me from fear of the dark after I was saved.

As Christians I am more concerned for others I believe than for myself. I pray daily for our protection.

Our life as Christians has been very secluded and strange. For many many years now we've had no church but encourage one another in the Lord. We've seen such a dearth of God's moving since we were saved in the late 70's. Churches we used to attend have grown dry and dead. Revival is much needed.

Plenty of cottonmouths and copperheads here. Or used to be. I've cleared my little parcel of them and recent construction has run off just about everything else. Mosquitos remain the most deadly animal on the planet, but those here do not carry many diseases like malaria. I don't travel the woods much, but have seen anything but God's creatures in them. There might be a time and a place to scared of a bear!? Some natural fear of natural threats is not wrong. But fearful constant thoughts or excessive worry over things is and I have done that plenty. Not anymore. I don't have the time for it. I exercise caution and concern when it is appropriate, but for the most part if it is going to happen then it is going to happen.

Seems people enjoy being afraid and getting scared. God delivered me from fear of the dark after I was saved.

As Christians I am more concerned for others I believe than for myself. I pray daily for our protection.

I never understood the joy or pleasure in being scared? Maybe a little adrenaline rush? Have done some things that produced fear along with excitement, exhilaration and euphoria. Like racing. But the fear was just tolerated, not sought after. Just part of it. Usually keeps one out of trouble. But unfounded fear it bad and even sin.

Churches so follow the world's ways now. In some sense I think it is as result of giving the people what they want. Stick to the old ways and most churches die off. Embrace the new and they exist or thrive. Is it part of the smart phone era where people need to be entertained constantly? Another form of 'ear tickling'? Yes, revival. Maybe resurrection is more like it!? :( I dislike being so negative, but I just think that this is the decline that leads to all sorts of worse things. The apostasy and great falling away.

What are the odds of life living on other planets?

If the six numbers on a ticket match the numbers drawn by the lottery, the ticket holder is a jackpot winner—regardless of the order of the numbers. The probability of this happening is 1 in 13,983,816.

As humanity casts an ever-wider net across the cosmos, capturing evidence of thousands of worlds, an ancient question haunts us: Is anybody out there?

The good news: We know vastly more than any previous generation. Our galaxy is crowded with exoplanets – planets around other stars. A healthy percentage of them are small, rocky worlds, of a similar size and likely similar composition to our home planet.
Life in the Universe: What are the Odds? – Exoplanet Exploration: Planets Beyond our Solar System (nasa.gov)

Exoplanets Last update: June 30, 2021
CONFIRMED Exoplanets 4,422
NASA CANDIDATES 7,450
PLANETARY SYSTEMS 3,280
Exoplanet Exploration: Planets Beyond our Solar System (nasa.gov)

Since there are billions of stars out there and planets much liker ours circling many of those suns the odds that there is no life out there is near “zero”; most likely there is life out there.

I personally doubt that whoever they are would travel here to take a personal look at “us” but I do believe many of those solar civilizations have progressed to the point where they have sent “probs” in search of life and we may have inadvertently seen a probe or two.

I am totally confident that humans will eventually travel beyond our solar system, and I believe we will send probes out into outer space looking for evidence of life, and I believe we may have seen such probes probing us. :)-
