You are always saying God doesn’t speak to His people anymore. On something’s I would agree but on God speaking to His people I wouldn’t agree. Unless I’m crazy because He speaks to me all the time. About critters...in the beginning of reading His word one night I read the gruesome bloody passages of slaughter and the congregation covered in blood. The slaughter of the Lamb and in reading God’s commands I went to bed that night in dread and fear asking God, “do I even want to know You?” Considering the Lamb...It was so barbaric and violent and brutal at God’s Commands. Honestly, I went to bed that night crying and wishing I would have never been born ...to never have been. That night, like many others He spoke as clear as day, “You have pity for a Lamb. It is My Son!” And then He said “I only use precious things to demonstrate My Son.” That was it. This morning, after all this time, from the beginning of hearing His voice, He gives this verse: Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

The word “precious” He seems to prefer.

He says in 1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

He has a voice and we are to hear His voice. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. —and He does exactly what He said He would do.
Beautiful testimony. I love how He speaks in simplicity, and few words. Always what you KNOW is from Him. Nothing audible, and nothing that ever negates scripture!
With several "difficult" people in my life, I hear "Just love them."
When faced with a recent mountain in my life, I heard - "Faith" "fear not, "Rest". I did, and He surely did move that very large mountain ♥

So I take it your want your pets with you in Heaven? That's a pet theory which has no basis is Scripture. Be Pet Smart.;)
Well, if one has an affinity towards animals, and I for one do consider my schnauzers family so yes, of course I would want to see my pets in Heaven; who wouldn't? Do I place my pets/animals on the same level as humans created in His image? Of course not! He did not give His life for animals, only humans. I do believe there will be animals in Heaven, the ones we knew down here? I don't know, God can do all things so who really knows what He has waiting for those who love Him? We can always wish, cant we? :)

Of course. But pets do not belong in Heaven (much as pet owners would prefer otherwise).

In this connection, it should be noted that for whatever reason, many pet owners would rather lavish love and care on pets than on human beings. Evidently pet food is prepared with as much care (or more ) than human food. And sometimes the cash spent on pets is truly outrageous, including funerals for pets. That is not what God expects.

In an eternity where there is no death, animals will be free from the curse therefore all vegetarian, as we will be, there will be no need of restraints, pet food, or funerals.
You may be correct that in heaven there will be no animals . However, I have no doubt that there will be animals in the new earth. And as others have suggested, maybe even those with whom we had special relationships here... Our pets. There can be no doubt that God loves all his creation. We are still discovering species never before known. The care he lavished upon them in the colours and splendour of their feathers, their cosats, and skins, tells me that the idea of them being a permanent and integral part of creation is not a vain one. No less so than flowers and all the other beautiful things God has given us as evidence of his love and wisdom. I can't imagine, and can't wait to see that creation free from the curse of sin.

And you are perfectly correct. You hit the nail on the head.

“Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” (Romans 8:21) (KJV 1900)

Nothing that is, is outside of God. Everything came out of Him..I believe it will return to Him.
Nothing would surprise me with God.

Isaiah 1:3 "Even an ox knows its owner, and a donkey recognizes its master's care - but Israel doesn't know its master. My people don't recognize My care for them."

Noticed a fox transiting back through my little place towards the woods behind me Friday night.

My squirrels around here are in excellent shape! But that is probably more from the occasional visit by coyotes.

My brother use to say that "Mosquitos in Louisiana are so big that when they hit the windshield that they force 18 wheelers to downshift a gear."

Gordon Clark (taught philosophy at Butler University in Indianapolis) said: In one way this is reminiscent of Genesis 2:7. As God breathed into Adam’s nostrils the breath or spirit of life, so too God sent forth his spirit into the animals.

Some people are afraid to say that animals have souls. They not only have souls, they are souls. Some people are afraid to say that animals have spirit. But Genesis 6:17 and 7:15, and Psalm 104:29, as well as Ecclesiastes 3:21 ascribe spirit to animals. Animals are souls. They are not just clay.
You have muddled the scriptures Dave. God made man in his image. It was personal. Man was in God's likeness, not so the animals.
God spoke them into existence without the same intimate touch.
Your language re souls is skewed. Have you not read it's context at mans creation?? Not even man has a soul he is a soul.
The track you are on is of pagan origin and rational....it blurs the boundary between human and animal and from there the theory of evolution takes its foothold.
