Hello friends. I've been looking for a verse which tells us we aren't allowed to sin after we are saved. Can you help me out??Reason is because saved means what is says, so to sin after being saved would be like not sinning at all, since you're already saved -- it wouldn't make any difference. And yes I'm aware of all the verses which tell us that the unrighteous and sinful will be judged. But saved does mean saved..

I hope this helps. This is an intense topic with varying depth levels. It is a matter of one's heart condition. One of my favorite verses is John 14:23,24 which says, "Jesus answered and said to him (Judas Iscariot),'If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home in him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words.' " That pretty much sums it up. When you fall in love with Jesus by spending time with Him each day, reading His words-His love letter to you, praying with a thankful heart, you don't think about wanting to sin. It makes you convicted of sin because the Holy Spirit abides within you. Some other good verses are: Romans 6:23, Romans 7; Romans 8:13-17, 1 Corinthians 3:9-17, 1 Corinthians 8:9-20.

well being a Christian doesn't mean that you will never sin again,it means that you will try to prevent yourself from sinning, and if you do sin you repent to the LORD and follow his words from the BIBLE.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins. Is this what you're looking for.

Isaiah 55:7Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, and mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon. We are all human and we all shall sin. God knows this. Being saved does not mean you will stop sinning it means you have found God and His truth and you will try your best to obey His laws. Sometimes you will fall but luckily God knows our nature's and sees our hearts seeing that we try to obey Him and thus He forgives us.A lot of people say they are saved but they do not try and stop sinning so basicly they are lying to themselves. If you are saved you have found God's love and try and please Him remember God knows your heart.Being saved means you repent this means acknolaging your mistakes AND TURNING AWAY FROM THEM. So many people think they only have to confess and can still keep sinning you must turn away from sin(or try at least) thats why I say God sees your heart. If you try and stop sinning then yes you are and will always be saved. But if you think you are only saved by confessing over and over again you are wrong.Saved means TURNING AWAY FORM SIN (with God's help) and yes then you are always saved even though you sometimes fall.Hope this helps God bless

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousnessBut if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin
