And Faust didn't have his say either?

Just as a matter of grammar, it should be are "part Jewish and part Gentile." If I ask a Samaritan, will he agree with that?
People who live in Samaria today may not be halfbreeds. They generally were in Jesus' day, however.

Who is/was Faust?

Faust is the main character in a German fable. He had a conversation with Satan, something like with Jesus and Daniel Webster, but he sold his soul for a life of material wealth and erotic pleasures. He is the main character in literary works by Christopher Marlowe and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

Marlowe wrote plays for the London stage in he 1580s and 1590s. People still pay to see his work. I saw Faust at a theater here in Los Angles.

When scholars make reading lists of the most important books to read, Goethe usually is on the list along side Homer, Aristotle, the Bible, Euclid, Saint Augustine, Shakespeare, Fielding, Jefferson, Marx, Danielle Steele, etc.

It is a story by Stephen Vincent Benet. I read it in school, sixty years ago. If I remember right, the Devil has the soul of one of Webster's constituents, and Webster tricks Satan to retrieve the soul.

Here's a text.

The Devil and Daniel Webster

someday you'll stop looking for explanations for stuff like that i guess :)
I'm not looking for an answer bb.
It would just be interesting to understand you.
There is a heaven.....where God is.
There is a hell...........where God isn't.

Since our soul and our spirit do not die, they must go somewhere after death.
It sounds like you don't believe this. But whether or not you do, it will still happen that you'll open your eyes after death and you'll find yourself to be somewhere.

well, here i would point out that you have made a statement of belief as though it were Absolute Truth, and you are now inferring that you do know what you will become, or that you can know, and imo this is a violation of Scripture, Which has incidentally provided "you and your sons will be here with me" and other reflections that address the perspective anyway. Plus we could examine your def of "soul" here (and even "die") and compare it to Scripture, you believe you have a soul now, but i suggest that Scripture says you are a soul, you seek immortality for your soul but i suggest that your soul has to die in order for you to get a new name...etc
But whether or not you do, it will still happen that you'll open your eyes after death and you'll find yourself to be somewhere.
so, we can examine literal death and the possibility of Death More Abundantly if you like, it certainly...seems like a worthy pursuit i guess, but i would ask if Scripture has so clearly provided the where in Samuel, and so clearly indicated where the kingdom of heaven is NT, then really what are we debating here, if not how well we are able to wiggleworm our way out of Scripture?

pls bring me the one who can assure us that a soul might attain heaven after death, and let's see how well he reasons, shall we

Odd version of Government of the People.

Herod put John the Baptist in prison, and he wanted to kill him, "but he was afraid of the people because they considered John a prophet."

Matthew 14:5

The teachers of the law and the chief priests wanted to arrest Jesus, "But they were afraid of the people."

Luke 20:19 and at least five other verses in Matthew and Luke.

Democracy in action.
