That we understand what this means? Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.Revelation 16:15 Who believes this can be overlooked and misunderstood by anyone, and that one still make it to the kingdom? No brothers and sisters this is The Divine Word of God and woe to any man who discounts the instruction of it. This saying my friends is wisdom and from wisdom springs forth righteousness and eternal life.He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding. If you do not understand it would behoove you to pray for The Spirit of Truth to reveal it to you before you lose your eternal soul. And once He does you will be set free. Until then you are still in chains and hell bound, please search for the meaning of this, not one of you who looked at my last post even responded, it leaves me to wonder if it's even getting through to anyone just how many people are going to go to hell because they either never sought for themselves, or continually rejected the Truth in favor of the lies and traditions of men. I will end with this. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. If you do not live by this saying you will go to hell unfortunately. If you do not know what it means pray for the wisdom to understand, love it and follow it to Heaven it is the voice of Jesus. Otherwise you will be carried to hell by a seducing spirit. And while we are this deep into it can someone please take a good long look at this it is very important:Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. Please pray for wisdom people! Any Biblically based reproof will be accepted and all else will go in one ear and out the other. Please see post: "Who are they?" in same forum.

I have this reproof.
If you do not live by this saying you will go to hell unfortunately.
It may not be a total reproof... just smoothing off some of the edges

.We are not saved from hell by living by a saying. We are saved from hell by Christ's work on the cross, and trusting Him for it.I have this amen.He will say to many on that day that He never knew them. That wasn't a threat... it was a promise. Works won't get us there... it's not what we did... it's who we knew. Amen.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. These are all Words that amount to the sayings of our Lord Jesus Christ. They are instruction and put simply He tells us very plainly that to get to heaven we must follow the commandments of the Lord. If we do not follow these sayings of words we will be doomed to hell. Jesus gave us instruction to follow which consists of many words and above we are told not to ignore it.Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. This is another saying by Jesus which amounts to instruction.Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And even this:Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. Ignore instruction and you ignore wisdom and reject The Holy Ghost.Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. Do so at your own peril. And I said Biblically based reproof . We will be saved from hell by every saying of the Word of God, but only if we accept it and not reject it for the ways of the world and of men.But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. And furthermore you will be judged by The WordFor there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one Please pull out a Bible and show my errors if any, otherwise pray for Jesus to show you yours. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Can you do everything at all times as the Bible says?

Can you do everything at all times as the Bible says?
Yes I do, when I am wrong I repent and turn from my sin. Do I search the scriptures to find out if I'm wrong? Do I flee from idolatry and things I know are evil? Do I fight the sin that lives in me? You bet I do and when I find wisdom I keep it, The Holy Spirit imparts the knowledge of all things good and evil to those who love Him and the commandments of God, otherwise we can continue to follow another spirit to hell. This is the choice we all face, either turn from unrighteousness and follow instruction or go to hell. It's simple really. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. And speaking of yokes.Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? I expected The Word of God and instead I saw an ignorant question. Yes I have and am likely to sin but Jesus forgives all. How though is He to forgive those who constantly reject The Truth and will not follow instruction? He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish. Need I go on?

Dear Cronnie,
These are all Words that amount to the sayings of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus gave us instruction to follow which consists of many words and above we are told not to ignore it.
I agree, they shouldn't be ignored. They should be learned and understood. I follow every single one of His commandments, everyday. There isn't one that I don't keep. That's because I am trusting Christ to keep them for me. I have kept all his commandments, and am perfectly blameless. Praise the Lord!Though, I also try my best to keep them through my own works. It is good to imitate the Lord. Nevertheless, it is by Him that I am made blameless. My works are as filthy rags.
John 6:28-39: Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

So what does Revelation 16:15 mean to you people? Doesn't it seem plain to you? And if so then tell me why the masses who proclaim Christ as their savior are ignoring it. I mean it does spell put something pretty plainly. God wouldn't try to confuse us with His Word. Maybe those who believe the lie and practice against The Word don't understand because they have never received The Truth, we should pray that these people see their errors before they are bound hand and foot and cast into outer darkness. It will happen because none of us have an excuse, not one.

When you say, "you people," what do you mean?Anyhow, Revelation 16:15 means this to me. It means that Jesus is coming at a time that is unappointed (to us. We don't know the day or hour specifically). He is coming "like a theif in the night." Like a theif in that he comes at a time when he isn't appointed... we should be on our toes, ready. He is not coming like a theif who steals and commits a crime, of course. He comes when many will not be expecting. However, those who are looking for Him (are expecting him, sometime), are actively pursuing His good will--these will be blessed. Not only AT THE TIME Jesus comes... but at all times where we expect the promise of His coming. There are all kinds of blessings that we are promised for all kinds of works that we perform on earth. Jesus says that for this work, being ready when he comes, there is yet another blessing! Praise the Lord.It would indeed be shameful to be screaming your head off at your kids, or at the person next to you on the highway when the Lord returns.

I refer you to my other thread "Who are they?" There are many, many shameful situations we can be caught in. From the way we worship to the things we say to other men in secret. Our mouths, oh boy ain't we better off to keep them shut unless it's to glorify God and instruct? Think about how much deeper this actually goes than shouting at a man in traffic. Read my other post as well. This is sound instruction for those with ears to hear sounds. This isn't merely about His coming as a thief. I'll warn you with this Word from Him:And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Do not revel in the lies of this world but look beyond it for The Truth.

Thanks for the warning... I'll keep that in mind. Have a good day.
Treeoflife walks away from the conversation, and turning to speak to the Lord says, "Bless Cronnie, Father. He knows not what is said to me, when he 'warned' me."The Lord replies, "I know, it is okay. I will teach Cronnie of my grace. All my children must learn of my grace."Treeoflife replies, "You are good Lord, all the time."

I have been blessed with wisdom, and wisdom only comes from God. Do you think He has broken the chains of sin that held me down and revealed to me The Truth and I don't know of His grace? You sir or madam are ignorant. I believe you should pray extra hard that God will anoint you with The Spirit of Truth as well. And yes sir I most certainly do know exactly what I have communicated to you as The Word of God is a light unto me and I do see it in the darkness. I noticed you never disputed a word of it yourself out right because you can't. However you attacked me with prayers that blasphemed The Holy Ghost. Better not discount His word ever.

Okay, so I walked back up into the conversation just now.

I understand you think you know about grace... and that's because you think *you* have grace. But, that isn't enough. You don't understand grace. Nevertheless, just because you Capitolize Things so that they Appear Righteous, doesn't Make Them Truth.Lord bless you. You have much to learn about grace... much indeed.

So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. Man what foolishness are you saying. Of course I know what it is to wake every day and think about the hell awaiting me. I've been set free! What is grace if it isn't an opening of the eyes to see the Truth and a freedom from the bondage of sin. If this isn't grace then what is all this magic moving in my heart and all this new found freedom? Is it some imaginary bondage that I'll pay for in a purgatory that does not exist? I have been directed to The Truth my sins are in remission, and this is God's love and favor or it would not be so.It's THE TRUTH!!! THE WORD OF GOD READ IT LOVE IT UNDERSTAND IT!!!IMPORTANT STUFF!!

Knowing that God has grace for you is important. But, you have much to learn. The Word of God is very important... no hesitation to agree there.Indeed, what is moving in your heart is God's grace. You have it, I do not contest that. But, do you understand it? That, I do not think so yet. You remind me of myself a few years ago before the Lord deepened my understanding of who He is, and what He has done for us in Christ. Nevertheless, there is grace. I do not question your salvation, or your ambition to serve Him. Though, I do believe that ambition will be all but without purpose until you have a greater understanding of God's grace for us, in Christ's work on the cross.Lord bless you

I know Jesus' work on the cross. He became The Lamb, a propitiation. His blood will blot out my sins and thanks to His work on the cross also The Comforter has come. The Holy Ghost who leads men in the Truth and imparts holy wisdom. That is all there is to know really about the cross except we are to pick ours up daily and deny ourselves the world.
