Throwing in two cents here. Your salvation isn't at risk. I don't know if that is what she was intending to say... but if it was, there is really no base or power in that claim. Don't sweat it. We are saved by Christ's work and faith in Him for it, period.

I want to add two more sense. It seems that are some here that are convinced that there is no such thing as a pretrib rapture. Now, imagine that Jesus is coming for the church before the 70th week, just as Paul wrote, and He is coming for those "looking" for His coming. These are looking for the beast instead! Chances are great then, that they will get their wish, and will go through the 70th week - meaning that they will be "left behind" because they were not looking for Him. Therefore, it is possible that this IS a salvation issue. Will Christians that are left behind, be strong enough to die, rather than take the mark?Coop

Right, followerofchrist, that proves there is no such thing as a Pre-Tribulation or a Mid-Tribulation Rapture at all... I know POST means after, but God never uses the word RAPTURE in His Word. (Hebrew, Greek, English)
Sorry, but it proves nothing of the sort. However, it is certain that at the time of Jesus descent on the white horse, he will send out His angels to gather the elect: the Jews scattered over the world.Did you not read where Jesus will be just before this descent?Luke 12:36And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. The Jews will be waiting for their LOrd, but He will be returning to the earth, rigth after the wedding of the Lamb, and wedding supper. John proves this:REv 197 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. ...11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. What do we read? We read of the wedding, then the wedding supper, and then Jesus gets on the white horse. So as He descends, He will be returning to the earth, FROM the wedding, just as He said. For those not astute enough to notice: this is a HUGE problem for those that believe the rapture will be at his coming. They will have missed the wedding.Coop

Do you even know anything? The word Pre means before, not after...so don't give us the lie of Satan, and then say God says it...
I guess the argument here is Pre - meaning before - the "tribulation, meaning, I suppose, the 70th week. Therefore, before anyone can prove or disprove a pre-"trib," one must first prove where, in the book of Revelation, the "trib" actually starts. Then, once this point is known, we an know whether or not the rapture will be before it or after it. I have discovered that most pretribbers cannot even accurately identify when the "trib" starts.Coop

What does that prove he is coming at the 7th and last trump just like all those verse's say after the Antichrist after the tribulation there is only one second coming can you count? antichrist tribulation 5th/6th trump Christ second coming 7th trump now watch 5,6,7 all you have done is present verse's about his second coming at the End.. you prove our point.Do you think you are our first rodeo we have argued this a thousand times for years and No one here or anywhere else has ever found a verse proving any pre trib rapture thats why its called "A Theroy" you are wasting your time its not in Gods Word

No, I do not believe it is possible. Though, I am more convinced of a pre-trib that any other trib timeframe... As far as it being a salvation issue, no way. Unless you can show that overwelmingly from scripture a person can be saved by faith in when Christ will return, rather than faith in Christ for their salvation alone. I don't believe God will give anyone their wish as far as when He returns for His church. He will do as He says... He will take His church at the time He has appointed. I think to say that a person can only "look" for Jesus based on their pre, mid, or post trib beliefs is very sketchy, to say the least. It is not by knowledge we are saved... or any other belief of doctrine... accept this one doctine... that we believe on Him who God sent. Jesus paid for all sins and blaphemies on the cross. Don't you agree? What level of understanding must a person have to be saved? Only that they are a sinner in need of Him on whom we believe... Jesus Christ.
