did you not say, "Take it up with God", is not Ephesians 2:6 God word, and God cannot lie. so stranger, tell us what do it mean "sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus?". your answer please.

PS Just like Rev 3:12... we are "in" Christ, and as Christ is "IN" his Father, we in him...... so we must have thrones too........

When Jesus came on the scene in Palestine 2000 years ago he turned the popular theories on the character, the nature, and the kingdom of God on its head. Those that were 'religious' on the whole, rejected and killed Jesus not because He was wrong, but because He didn't meet with their skewed expectations. They wanted freedom from the tyranny of Rome. Jesus came to free them from sin. The Rabbis wanted God to exalt them so they and their temple could become the center of the universe. Jesus came to make God the center of the universe. Today, because of the skewed teachings of the popular church, the same thing is happening. While the church is praying for wealth, happiness, reputation, and power, the unbelieving world is getting the wrong idea of Who and what God is about. Jesus Himself said "seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness." Jesus is still looking for a people who are desirous to be free from sin. 2000 years ago He found a rag-tag bunch of fishermen and tax-collectors and prostitutes. They formed the nucleus of His new church. It is very easy to hide from God in religion. He hasn't changed. He is still looking for a people who are willing to be freed from sin. And the only ones who will accept Him are those willing to admit to that need of freedom. The religious in Jesus day thought they had arrived. They had no need of a Savior from sin, they wanted wealth and power. What about you? Are you hiding from God in religion? Or are you willing to admit that you are a sinner, and in desperate need of a Savior?

That is exactly right, because we are 'in Christ' we are seated with Him. Glorious aspect isn't it.

first thanks for the reply, second, Last night I have never seen such incompetence in handling of the scriptures by ... Christians.
first it was Jesus setting on the throne, then the Father, then both, now all of us in Christ on the same one throne... my God.

these answers came from Christians. I can see if someone from the world might make all these changes in one setting, but Christians?.....

the apostle Paul is correct when he by the Holy Spirit, wrote,
Romans 1:21 "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Romans 1:22 "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (This is exactly what I saw last night).

Romans 1:23 "And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. (amen, a chair, a wooden throne, I guess made of the finest cedear...

and talking about stretching the truth? if it was someone off the street it would be ok, because they KNOW not the things of God. but for Christian to stretch the truth the way they did last night?. we need to give the TRUTH a chair and let him sit down after last night performance, for he was stretched from the four corners of the earth and heavens and back.

with that said, no Christian, protestant, or other wise, need not NEVER say anything to any Catholic about torture, (stretching people), after last night performance of stretching the Lord Jesus over the racks of ignorance. last night performance of some christians made the Catholic look like mother Teresa in comparisons.

this was a sad state for Christian last night. I guess the trinity doctrine has moved into 2.0 version now..... no, 3.0 because all the members of the Godhead now is mane JESUS ....

. all three, separate, but have the same name now.

can one see how this is not of God. God word changing to fit a man's doctrine?.

now all of them sits on the throne, except the TRUE GOD, the Holy Spirit, well they has put the TRUE last anyway, why not take his throne also. and now all christian are crouded on the throne ...... IN heaven. move over everyone else. I guess the devil will come in throught the side door at some point and claim his spot on the throne too. why not, everyone else is.... I guess it's open season on sitting on the Throne of God.

but the Scriptures are clear, there is ONLY on on the Throne, and that's the Lord Jesus as KING, and HIGH PRIEST.

a throne repersent "POWER" and "AUTHORITY", and in that POWER and AUTHORITY comes "mercey" and "Grace", "righteousness". thanks God that there is only ONE on the throne. and the right one, amen.

Revelation 5:6 "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth".

NOW, this,
Revelation 1:4 "John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne".

Jesus is the Seven Spirit. (STOP, so the Letter is from one PERSON who hold all these "THREE" titles). and this one title who is the Holy Ghost, as the scriptures, is sent into the EARTH. per day on Pentecost.

This was in response to the question "What happens when a man dies?" But it is totally incorrect. Man is comprised of body, soul, and spirit. Introducing the word "flesh" simply leads to confusion. The soul and spirit are immaterial and imperishable. Therefore physical death is the SEPARATION of the soul and spirit from the body.

The body goes into the grave, but the soul and spirit either go to be with Christ in Heaven (for those who are in Christ), or to Hades (the abode of departed spirits without Christ). So the soul does not go into the ground, and that is the false doctrine of Soul Sleep.

Before the resurrection a believers soul went to paradise, which is off the pit in the ground.

Since Hades is in the lower parts of the earth or the heart of the earth (near the core of the earth, not a pit in the ground) Paradise was never in Hades. Paradise has always been in Heaven (after the Fall), and it called *the Paradise of God*.

so in Revelation 1:1, it's not two separate PERSON, but the SAME one PERSON "diversified" in flesh.
