As far as my mention of God appearing to be a murderer, this is in contrast to being a mere bully.

God blinded Israel so you can have salvation through Christ 2000 years later... is this offensive? Many more yet to be born and bare his image!

The Papacy is it if you compare the office with the profile in scripture. Islam also fits. All of the Reformed and Lutheran creeds agree on the Papacy being the Antichrist. Also Methodists and some Baptists. Dispensationalism (futurism), created by the Papacy, was launched to steer people away from the Reformation view because Catholics were leaving the Church in droves. I can document this from Dispensationalist sources using their own words.

However, we can ignore all this and focus on the Scriptures themselves, and there is no way that the Papacy is the Antichrist. It does promote a false Christianity, but that is an entirely different matter. And the Reformers and Reformed Theology are totally incorrect in eschatology, not to mention their false Calvinistic Gospel. However, you have already been brainwashed into their ways of interpreting Scripture. That's as bad as cultic brainwashing.

The trouble is that you are unable to view the Scriptures without re-interpreting them through Reformed and Covenant Theology. You have been saying that *Jesus is Amillennial* when it is Jesus who gave the Revelation to John, who then described the Millennium briefly (and which can be supported by many OT prophecies).

So not only is that bearing false witness, it is also misleading and misdirecting people who need to carefully study the Bible.

Historically preachers such as Whitefield and Spurgeon who strongly believed in the sovereignty of God also saw large numbers converted...
