I just started a thread on early Christian doctrine concerning pre-tribulation and a millennialism.

Your problem is your historic view is all Catholic.

What denomination are you?
I'm non denominational but spent most of my time in English Baptist (1600s), Presbyterian, and Reformed theology. These are all Amillennial with some Postmillennialism in the Presbyterians.

Funny...you mentioning Truth...while you fabricate what is false and dump it on others.

Almost thought you upstanding...but then found that was not the truth.
Your sect, not even 100 years old renounces the entire church claiming to be the only ones who are saved? And you are on the right track?

Come on you guys...the sky is not falling...( yet) :)

Enjoy the day the Lord has given you. You are the blessed.

" Serving the Lord with all humility of mind.

Whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; and whoso-ever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

If a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. - I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man, ... not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. - When ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Our rejoicing is this, ... that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world. - We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. "

ACTS 20:19. Matt. 20:26 28. Gal. 6:3. Rom. 12:3. Luke 17:10. II Cor. 1:12. II Cor. 4:7.

Check the history.

The United Pentecostal Church International (or UPCI) is the world's largest Apostolic (Oneness) Pentecostal Christian denomination, headquartered in Weldon Spring, Missouri.[1] The church adheres to the non-trinitarian theology of Oneness, and was formed in 1945 by a merger of the former Pentecostal Church and the Incorporated and Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ. The denomination also emphasizes holy living in all aspects of one's life.

He is the way, the truth and the life. And you cannot know him apart from truth.

I guess we can go around and around on this one Dave.

I don't agree, as you know.. :)

We knew an old lady ..she died at 92.
She always reminded me of Anna ( in Luke 2)
It says of Anna -
"And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. "
This dear old lady did the same...other than us picking her up on Sundays for a meeting, she didn't go out.
Even in the meetings...when ever she prayed...she only had to start-
"Dear Heavenly Father..." and every hair stood on end and we felt immediately in the presence of God...
She KNEW Him Dave, and it was very obvious that He knew her!!

What did she believe or not believe about the trinity...who knows, what did she believe about the rapture, who knows...who cares, as long as we know God , and enter daily into His presence.

As for all this 'knowledge'...it will pass away....
..Our relationship with God Himself is where it all hangs.

Have a good one...bless you...Helen

You are not part of trinitarian Christianity. It is the trinity that sets Christianity apart from all other religions and cults.
And you it was that said the truth for men is found only in the written scriptures, yet here you are making a declaration without a corresponding verse or verses of that written scripture. You do a lot of that. You may of course believe what you will, but when you want a Bible believer to change to your belief, would it not be a good idea to cite the verse or verses that supports your belief over theirs?

I thought so. But you need to study from other sources as well or you'll only have only brainwashing and indoctrination to draw from.

Dave you better get yourself out of the baby bath then. LOL

I know an old lady like that now, Helen! She will be turning 97 next month. Everyone in our recent and foolish church war wanted her on their side, but she was always on Jesus' side. When she used to regularly stand to testify, everyone present would stop any nonsense because the Spirit of God was in her. In the last few months when things were getting very bad in our meetings, she became silent continuously even as Jesus became silent before Pilate as they made their false accusations against Him. Even those who really love God so much cannot change the frozen hearts of some people. To even try can be against God's will. All each one can do is live for God himself when all of the doors to others are firmly closed:

"Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:
Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD." Ezek 14:13-14

It's brainwashing and cult mentality if you do not agree with historic trinitarian Christendom. UPC is only recent, dating from the early 1900s. And they even said at one time they were the only true church, just as the Catholics do.

Had to google this and came up with a sect with cultic practices which is described at this link: -

It will help to explain a few things about DaveL and his secretive posting style.
